- A major police manhunt is underway after shocked passengers witnessed a stabbing on a train in south London, which left a man fighting for his life.
Police received reports of an altercation between two men who boarded the train at Shortlands in Bromley just before 4pm on Wednesday.
Video filmed by a passenger shows one of the men brandishing a large zombie-style knife lunge at the other man on the floor of the carriage while terrified passengers plead with him to stop.
The clip published on social media has been viewed almost 18 million times. A second clip showed a air ambulance land near Beckenham station where the train stopped.

Unfortunately, I am one of the many who has seen this first hand multiple times.
My son's life was recently threatened while visiting his nan. The police did not take this seriously.
Since the first 'priority call', cameras at the property were ripped down, and his car was smashed up.
It took over 24hrs to respond to a priority call (1hr response targrt).
The police are not police. Their role that of a social worker: to calm people down/distract people from taking their own justice.
Where are the police when these animals run around killing people?
I have no respect for the police. Always there to issues fines, bit never available to uphold the law.
I've not had one positive experience of the police as a victim of crime including an aggravated burglary.
At the top of my road every single day there are a minimum of 10 men openly dealing and all the police do is tell us to ring 101 and if enough of us phone in a month they might look into it. But then they will provide personal protection for traffic wardens and anounce it as though is a great bit of community policing.
