It still baffles me that we have audio recording of Trump asking Georgia to simply give him an extra "11,780 votes" and just "tell the people that you miscalculated", yet half the country supports him. If there was audio footage of Biden on anyone else saying that, it would have ended their political career. But Trump fans have no shame!

Trump got LESS THAN HALF of those votes. The people who voted for Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election was 22.4% of the country. *LESS THAN 1/4 of the country.* --- if you couldn't be bothered to vote for Donald trump, I don't imagine you would be considered a supporter. And I think Donald Trump would agree with that assessment. ---- So NO. His supporters are NOT, and never have been, "half" the country.

Not to mention Mayes' 2022 opponent - who was 280 votes from winning - ran on 2020 election denial and threats to prosecute voters and pollworkers. Just 280 votes, and instead of this indictment, we'd be seeing flimsy Florida-style indictments targeted against Democratic voters who made unintentional mistakes while registering or voting.

A good rule of thumb is to vote for people who think your vote ought to matter. Also, it's generally a good idea to try to avoid voting for liars, frauds and crooks.
While Biden is not a fraud/crook and overall lot more solid sane person then trump and like lot less potential dictator, he does lie, in like weird meaningless ways. Check that website that fact checks politicians. At least not all of Arizona wants to erase 100 years of progress and would like to retain democracy.
In its April 9 ruling, the Arizona Supreme Court said that the state must adhere to the 1864 law that bars all abortions except in cases when “necessary” to save a pregnant woman's life. The law also carries a prison sentence of two to five years for abortion providers. But they will go back 160 years not to retain democracy.

It took less than that to organise. The previous GOP AG didn’t want to organise it.
Apparently a GOP AG decided to not take up this case, but the chaos that occurred in 2020 was enormous. There was this whole fake electors thing, there was litigating everywhere, some media were doubting everything, Trump and his campaign were running amok on every outlet they could get a talking head on and finally there was Jan. 6th. Now we know that all those things happening were not incidents. It took a House investigation and a lot of elbow grease from the DOJ's in several states and on the federal level to come to the conclusion we have to make now. Donald J. Trump was in no means willing to accept all but one outcome of the election. And he was willing and doing a lot to come to the desired outcome. Democracy is at his best when capable people are willing to go the extra mile to defend its causes. And that is what I see is happening right now. It took time and effort, but the we have a way better picture of what happened in 2020.
