That last video, that's one of those new Bluetooth CV joints.
I recently installed these Bluetooth CV joints, highly recommended. And yes, choose CV joints with Bluetooth version 5.3/5.4. Version 5.0 sometimes loses signal in tunnels and the car stops accelerating.
Those things will give you cancer! 😱😱😱
It just started making noise this weekend.... NO! The noise just got louder than the radio this weekend!
I was thinking it finally made the noise that they couldn't mistake for something normal instead of the mild growl it's been doing for the last four months.
YEAH! funny how that is@@jasonstclair6293
It always amazes me how some people can buy a car and then just let it go to hell like these people in the clips do...
People think cars are supposed to be indestructible & require no maintenance...
It's really amazing what piles of junk are on the road in the USA.
It really depends on where in the US. Some states have road worthy inspections, while some do not. It can get worse if that state has no inspections AND has climates that cause corrosion like the Rust Belt
@@Supdahbro hello from Michigan
Yeah, funny thing. If you go back and watch older videos, plenty of of these clips come out of Europe.
@@AeroGuy07 Here in Germany it would impossible to drive with such a crap. But i know that some wrecks are driving in Turkey, Greece etc.
Most of these folks would replace them if they could afford it.
Cars are wayyy over priced, especially considering most of them are trash, right off the line
Nah ….. it’s ok ….. it’ll last a few more thousand miles…😂🤣😅
This channel never fails to amaze me with the amount of people who drive round with cars in such an absolute state! Then decline repairs when it’s pointed out. How on earth do they get away with it both legally and that the car fails to stop/work/not fall off the road?!
Actually on the one of EP there was a notice that service employee called a police patrol to stop one of the customers from driving rusted out frame pickup. Probably others does not bother to do anything with it.
Customers probably decline some repairs because they think that service is trying to make them pay for the work they dont need to, even though the parts need to be replaced. Maybe that is due to some services that scam their customers on some work, as example service admit that you need to replace bushings but actually they are good, or you need to replace other stuff that customer will be unable to verify or check by self, even if thoose parts are good to run.
Thats my guess, im from Ukrane and seen such type of scam at our local services in Kyiv. So i could understand customers that know nothing about cars, but think that every service is trying to scam them on money.
@@gloff8163Im sure plenty of them just can't afford repairs at that moment, but on ones where the vehicle is truly unsafe the shops need to be calling the cops to get them off the road before they kill someone. It's one thing when declining a repair is just going to leave them stranded, another when it endangers everyone else.

Some people are just trying to get by. Vehicles aren’t a priority. 🤷🏻♂️
"Always done oil changes on time"
That sludge is what happens if go maximum intervals on a city use car.
As someone with a car that has a rear diff oil change interval of 500 miles you should change your oil sooner than later. They always say oil is cheaper than components.
@@MalleusSemperVictor Is that a typo? Trying to know what, outside of industrial equipment, would have a service interval not much less than frequency of oiling a chain on a motorcycle.
Seriously, what vehicle is that???
What do you drive? @@MalleusSemperVictor
@@MalleusSemperVictor You change your diff oil almost as often as you fill up?
1:40 - Awesome drumming skills! A natural Dave Lombardo!! SLAYER!!!!!!!!🤘🤘
Awesome content!! Keep up the mechanical comedy.
‘Bout right for an Altima.
Some people take the expression "just drive it till the wheels fall off" a little too literally.
Some people do get their oil changed offen .
The problem is some places that change the oil will charge for quality oil but will put recycled oil in it .
That's how they make their money.
I have a neighbor who experienced this ,it caused his lifters to clog up and collapse.
And he had his oil changed every 3 to 4 thousand miles.
Seems some customers should be arrested for putting the public at risk
1:40 the hotn't guage
I got a new petrol engine car myself and I was told by the dealer that the oil should be changed after 20'000 km (not miles), but everywhere I look, there are different versions on this on when to change the oil. I am not a car guy myself but let's just say this - when you are given 10 different opinions, I can see that happening on 2:19.
Always read the manual.
Along with reading the manual do the extreme or heavy duty service intervals. It's hard telling what their actual definition of normal use versus heavy.
Do 10,000 kays. Manufacturer recommendations are geared to making your car last to the end of the warranty period. You probably want it to last longer than that.
Yup, change your oil at least once a year or before you reach 10 000 km, no matter what the manufacturer says. Oil costs ~$35. A filter costs ~$8. As a once-or-twice-a-year expenditure that's a hell of a lot lower than what any engine repairs are going to run you. The engine is fine as long as it has fresh oil, and it can operate for a really long time without issue (up to and over 400 000 km in many cases), provided the oil is changed on time.
Jack up the radiator cap, drive a new car under it, take the cap off the jack, throw old cap away, install new cap. There! all fixed!
I've never replaced a wear item, why start now?
As a deisel mechanic, my favorite complaint was, "My clutch doesn't work." After climbing underneath the truck and removing the clutch inspection plate, I found the clutch brake completely packed with grease.
The "portrait mode" of recording needs be be outright banned!
You know i have seen many motors that have 30, 40 even 50 thousand miles on them with out a oil change and they never look like what you have in the video so what kind of junk oil was use in them ?
Thats a very hood question, bro...waste kentucky fried oli..? Still, 30 grands miles no fresh oil...no good..!
I wish people wouldn't lie to their mechanics.. just makes the job harder and the likelihood of a misdiagnosis or unnecessary work much higher.
the crazy oil pressure gauge was standard equipment on ford rangers from the early 2000s
When I first heard that Toyota with the rattling fan, I thought it was a clapped motor death rattle.
Oh shit I thought that first clip looked familiar lol that first clip is the shop I work at. never expected to get on here
Come to find out the next morning that the owners son of the company that the fleet truck belonged to took it one day and hit god knows what while under the influence and said nothing of it, brand new truck that barely had 30k miles on it at the time of service
"it just started making noise."
BULLSH!T!
I have owned my 98 Trans Am for almost 12 years now. I am religious changing my oil every 3k miles. Last Christmas one of my lifter springs went and when the speed shop pulled my valves covers they found so much sludge in there. And she only had 130k miles.
Well it's not a Toyota 😂
@@RohanSanjith Toyota had a run of Camrys that had sludging issues. I thought it was worldwide but I could be wrong.
I don't see the problem of no oil changes. Mobile one states 20,000 miles before changing oil required. I also believe in the Easter bunny.
you guys need to have a yearly rego check like we do in AUSTRALIA so would not have these problems
Some US states have inspections, the problem is you can find a garage that will pass you regardless.
And for some people it's just cheaper to buy a PoS run it into the ground and buy another.
The trail of oil in the snow could be from a cracked seal due to the cold.
Then this should be a teail of coolant water.
@@chrisridethatbloodything2044 yes. You're correct.
I jumped the gun.
i followed a trail like that once. At 1 end was a sign that had been run down. At the other, just a few blocks away, was the car parked on the front lawn, looking sorta sad and sorry
Ford ranger instrument clusters are just a total 🗑️🔥
The rpm gauge in the one I had would bounce in time with the bass in the stereo, bugger really liked "fourteen days" by Laura Love, idfk why, but it went to town on that song 😂
Sounds like bad grounds.
@@Slicerwizard don't know, it didn't bother me much, made me laugh though
@@Slicerwizard gonna add that the only functioning gauge at all was for the RPMs😆
The speedometer didn't work half the time, the gas gauge didn't work at all, the temperature gauge died and stopped working. Had to sell it, as I couldn't use it for work anymore because reverse went out in the transmission and the repairs would've been more than I could afford. Bugger would start up like a gem every time though, I miss that old truck so much (1991, V6 3.0 version, what people call the nightmare engine) 😢
Why do maintenance, everybody is a billionaire so keep buying another new vehicle everytime they destroy it. Throw away society.
Toyotas are tough.
Oil is cheap....engines are expensive.
Seems like we are seeing the results of the 10k oil changes...
Well with the economy, the content is going to get better 🤔 worse. Life is good.
today's
And, please, hold the phone sideways. I don't believe that all the submissions are in portrait mode
Mechanic always ripping me off don’t know why I should ever do anything to my car it’s always a rip off
🤔 Then take your car 🚙 to another workshop and mechanic. It's not rocket 🚀 science !!...
@@alancrisp1582 they want to rip me off too
My car doesn’t need anything I put money into it every time I go to the pump it runs perfectly
@@Dieselpwr 🤔 As a collector of classic vehicles. I mostly only deal with the same garage and mechanics, where possible. And I have had no real problems. There are both good and bad workshops out there !!. Just look for a good one..........
@@alancrisp1582 Their always ripping me off that’s why I got a Toyota lifetime oil never even have to change that now 500k miles guaranteed
@@Dieselpwr over 500k guaranteed? LOL. Looks like you're the one who got ripped off.
This is a cheap copy of the real thing, terrible narration
