0:00 Intro
0:04 Weekly reminder to not drive through puddles
0:28 Unfortunately no update for this one yet, surprising the dealership couldn't fix it though
0:42 Mr. Crank just wanted to see the outside world for once
0:55 Quite a common problem when customers mess with their own brakes
1:05 Owners boyfriend tried to fix it and ended up making this mess
1:31 They must have know this was going out for a while, crazy it took so long for them to get it fixed
1:40 This turbo must've been making quite the smoke show
2:02 Got to love seeing customers trying to mod their own cars with stuff like this
2:14 0% chance this only just started making noise
2:26 According to a mechanic these were extremely expensive to fix back in the day so a lot of people just went to 2wd
2:39 This customer did their own brakes...
2:45 Car was from Canada too so they had travelled a bit with it like this
3:03 Definitely some mice have been eating some wires
3:10 Bad ignition coil/spark plug wire, shorting against ground
3:13 Could just be a bad tensioner that needs to be replaced
3:51 These older GM clusters were notorious for having odd problems like this
3:59 It's a Jeep thing you wouldn't understand
4:07 Outro

Rattling timing chain.....continues to rev it 🤔
waiting to see valves popping out of the head.
@@em1osmurf what could possibly go wrong?
😂😂
I thought the same thing. Shut that thing off NOW!
"This is ground control to piston 1"
What a dumb ass revving that engine.
"Hope they get it fixed quick before something happens. " continues to rev the engine to high rpms.
He was looking for trouble.
“Give me a parts list”
Bro the whole assembly 😭💀
That engine with holes in the block are just the thing Eric loves for us every Saturday nite at 9:00 pm
Uncle Rodney decided to show himself. Its never a good day when he does, for the owner of that engine, for us is a good saturday night.
"The inspection ports", not just holes!
That Honda has one of them new Bluetooth driveshafts!
Aha the all new "wireless" connection parts. 😂😂
We really need to introduce a mandatory shop class in high schools...people are so clueless today.
re introduce, granted it was voluntary/elective back when old guys like me had to run from dinosaurs and walk barefoot in the snow to get to school. but i sure took it. they also need to re introduce being able to read, right and do basic math to graduate. those last three things aren't required to get a diploma anymore.
Many people would still be clueless. Some folks just wouldn’t get it. Also some people think automobiles are magical.
School learns us nothing useful ! Only teach us how to be dumb worker slaves lol
Father's should be teaching this. I know some mothers that could too.😅
Whats the point? I mean now people just lease a new car with manufacturer's warranty. After warranty years are over just get a new one. And with an abundance of mechanical shops nowadays no problems just bringing it for a service somewhere once a year. Even if something happens on the road just call same mechs. You don't need to know how a car works to drive it.
2:54 ya thats surface rust all right. the rust is the surface.
Beat me to it. Great minds think alike!
@@P_RO_ yup i have to agree
Removing the driveshaft out of the Honda CR-V ( not Pilot) @ 2:30 is absolutely harmless. Reduces vibration, under steer and increases mpg up to 6 from 21 to 27 mpg
Snow performance is degraded tho
It's a fix on old land rovers when the bushings are worn out, not a problem if you never go off road.
What is more concerning, is the absolute weeds heads driving around suicidal "weapons" in their hands.
How out of touch people can be, never fails to amaze me.
The hynday stearingweel issue is bad allignment after "repairs" making the auto sentering system go bananas. Your welcome😂
The piles of crap people drive blows my mind!
2:27 this is a 1st gen Honda CR-V, and not actually an uncommon thing. The all wheel drive on here is part-time and passive, so it only kicks in when needed. I've seen a couple of these now, where they end up with play in the U-joints, and finding a new driveshaft is either expensive, a long wait, or have to buy a used part. My last shop didn't install used parts, so we ended up just removing the rear driveshaft, essentially just making it a front wheel drive CR-V now. No adverse effects.
4:00 Introducing dynamic RPM. Designed to keep the engine operating at multiple speeds at once
Glad my old man taught me the basics when i was a kid.
lol no one has said it’s a first gen CRV and not Honda Pilot yet?
the jeep one looks like a bad ground connection.
These people are driving in front of me.
And behind me.
And alongside me.
Wow.
They didn't know how to fix your own electronic steering that tells you the Delta dealership shouldn't be allowed working on cars they can't fix their own cars problem
Just stop oil....errr, I think you misunderstood them.😂
Its jeep thing is still pretty impressive when you loomat the odometer......260k and running....
Always feel pretty smug watching videos like these you’ll never find any car or bike of mine in the state of any vehicles like in these videos and after 45 I can honestly the majority of work I’ve always done myself.
🤔I'd like to know what years and makes that the uni-bodies are rusting out of.🤔
At least the "upgraded" brake calipers are functional. The brakepads are used for the most part. 😅 Could be worse as we've seen on this channel 😂
not MrPeePeePooPooPants3 :O
High schools have done away with real life learning in favor of being the college prep institution. They don’t even have cooking anymore since I guess everyone eats every meal out or has it delivered while they’re crying about being broke.
If you could extend the end of the video by about fifteen seconds, I'd have a chance to be able to Like the videos WAY more easily from my smart TV. I usually forget until the end, but then its over and I have to reload and replay in order to get a Like to register. Just a thought. Thanks!
2:18 In what state are studded snow tires legal?
In most of northern Europe it's legal
2:46 Pink Floyd - Money 🎵🎶
Honda Pilot of Crap …….thanks for the laughs 😂😂😂😂😂😂
0:55 - I wouldn't call that a huge issue. The car still stops.
DIRAVI steering mod.
So if a mechanic knows the timing chain is going out, why would you continue to run the RPMs up so high and take the risk of creating more damage.
Because not every mechanic is sharp.
Remember back when timing chains were something you never worried about. Sure they may be more powerful now and better mileage but anything saved is spent 10x over fixing problems
The Jeep thing is just a loose ground
Buckwheat is the first musical genius, but RPM is up there too
I had your Jeep thing once. And it STILL hurts when I pee.
🤔😮 ??..
The "upgraded" brake calipers are the wrong part for that vehicle. Even upgraded the brake pads should make full contact with the rotors.
@3:38 stop revving it and turn up the music the noise will go way.
🤯 Cleary this is already what a lot of these stupid motorists already do !!...
0:38 *autopilot* ...
0:30 that is a bent cv axle, not that hard to figure out...
We had a similar issue in our Hyundai Hybrid. Turned out to be a sensor issue in the steering motor. The sensor was pretty cheap but hard to reach. The dealership said they had never seen one of those sensors go bad before.
Why would they keep revving the engine with bad timing chains? 😡
Because they don't know they are making the chain issue worse.
Sweet Jesus...
I know people remove prop shaft to turn a 4wd into 2wd..... to save on fuel.
I did it too, just 4 fun.
Buys all wheel drive for "safety", removes drive shaft.
A little puddle of water. That wouldn't surprise me as a lot of cars draw their air from down low.
Who else wants a car that when driven keeps making fuel?
The Hyundai auto steering. isn't that just torque steer?
