0:05 Only a CV axle boot was damaged and nothing else. The customer thought it was the brakes making the noise as well, and didn't believe the shop when they told her the news.
0:16 The SUV had fairly low miles at the time this was filmed so the technician knew right away it was something else. He still checked the brakes and they were fine. Easy find!
0:31 Internal issue with the CVT transmission. There is an issue with the chain inside of the transmission.
0:47 The technician has no clue how somebody put gasoline in the washer fluid reservoir and was never told by the customer on how this happened.
0:56 Always important to read your owner's manual or even do a quick Google search if you're having an issue like this with the multimedia screen etc.
1:11 Front drive shaft came apart and damaged the transmission and also the transfer case (wasn't shown but the technician said it was cracked). It's common to see the double Cardan joints on the front drive shaft fail on these trucks as people usually forget to grease them, but this time it was a user error! Read your owner's manual on what speeds you can drive in 4HI and 4LO.
1:28 Apparently the customer got everything from the divorce so he was thinking it was his ex-wife who did the damage.
1:41 Customer's insurance company was involved and fixed the vehicle. Luckily nobody was injured!
1:56 Oil pan was smashed in and leaked out most of the engine oil. The engine needs to be replaced.
2:03 Customer involved his insurance company and said it was an issue with his car.
2:09 The customer later admitted to the service advisor that he punched it too much.
2:24 The technician said it was a safety hazard and also had to be hot-wired to start it.
2:37 No extra info.
2:56 Easy fix lol.
3:05 The clip was not shared by a viewer/subscriber. The technician's wife saw this and posted it online and was shared with permission.

Took my car in a couple weeks ago and told them my front left sounded like "12 mice in a vitamix." Guy looked at me like I was insane. He called me 20 minutes later and said "you were spot on" lmao
Only thing they do miss is their oil change.
I had to make a service call for the rented skidsteer we'll be using for snow removal, it wouldn't start even after we tried boosting it. I told him "it just goes clicka-clicka-clicka..." and he said "That's not the noise we want it to make." To which I replied, "Nope, we want it to go wobbita-wobbita-wobbita-VOOOOOM!" And he needed a moment to compose himself before he booked the service call. Turns out whoever dropped it off must have left the auxiliary power switch on (for a snow blower or sweeper attachment) and this model doesn't shut that down when it's powered off so it was draining the battery, and apparently as soon as the service tech switched that off, he was able to boost it. I know we didn't turn that switch on because we have nothing connected to it, we just use the bucket.

I always knew these new cars had an extra one gallon spare fuel tank I just didn't know where it was. 😂
Don't forget to run one of the washer fluid hoses into the intake for extra power on demand!
@@dagamer667 👍😂👍
Man, I wish the washer reservoir on my Honda was a gallon. It's less than two quarts and I'm always running out of fluid.
Had a friend in Baha that had his fuel pump fail out in the dessert several miles away from his place. So he drained the washer fluid tank , dried it best he could, put gas in it, pulled the line from the pack man and put in to the top of the carburetor. Made it 20 miles back to his camp. Smart guy, he was a Baja 1000 driver years ago.
I always thought brakes lines were cut *before* a divorce was settled so the life insurance would payout 🤷🏻♂️🤣
If you don't change the beneficiary on the life insurance policy it will still pay out to the person, a lot of people forget that little detail. My ex died in 2020 of 'rona, hadn't spoken to him in 15 yrs or seen him. I found out by doing a search last year on "unclaimed property" in every state I'd lived in and realized I had a 30K insurance policy pay out, the current wife was in a legal battle to try and get it but she wasn't beneficiary on that policy. She also lost that legal battle.
That one made me MAD. Some sub-human trash bag puts the safety of everyone on the road in jeopardy just to get back at one person
With my ex wife if she was determined to be within 500 yards of me at any time after our divorce was finalized she was not going to remain free. The terms of the restraining order were simple you come within 500 yards of him after leaving here today and all charges that are currently suspended will be filed immediately and you'll spend the rest of your life in prison.
She never risked it.
Yep. When my ex-wife wanted a divorce within 2 days, I had the beneficiary changed as I had a $500,000 policy in place.
@@KJ-xx6xr I'm gonna choose to believe that you used this knowledge to end their widowed partner's legal battle by claiming and transferring the insurance payout to them because, after all, legal doesn't always mean right. Some of these you think "Yes, fair enough, the cause might be something silly or minor but at least the customer got it checked." Then you get the ones where you think "How does this person get dressed in the morning?"
The mechanic at the end was a breath of fresh air :)
The bent steering wheel reminded me of a guy I worked with years ago. In the office he was normal, but behind the wheel something possessed him. He'd rant about some political thing or other, while doing twenty over the limit, banging the steering wheel, and getting spit all over the inside of the windshield. I only rode with him once, but once was enough.

Just discovered this channel. As a pro mechanic, this is brilliant stuff! There is no way we could ever run such a channel here in Europe, because our cars have to go through a yearly technical inspection, and are approved to drive or not depending on what's wrong. You get either a green card (which is a pass), or a red one (fail) containing an exact list of precisely what needs fixing. The content on this channel is just never seen over here, I am truly impressed! The creativity some people have is mind-boggling (and the obvious lack of common sense, on top of no knowledge whatsoever)! It's hilarious! I have just subscribed. Please keep them coming! And please, people, understand that you don't become a mechanic by watching tutorials or reading forums! Hahaha!
same in australia, yearly inspection, you fail it you have to get the problem fixed or walk home. And the car can't be registered for the next year if you fail it, so cops with number plate cameras are gonna see it straight away if you try to drive around unregistered. Good idea, like the metric system not applied in the US!

@@Batmann_ I don't understand any of your mentalities. If you are hired to do a job, do it to the best of your ability. Don't slack off. That's an axiom
@@SJHFotoI somewhat agree. But, maybe you've not been in the work force very long or maybe you just have a good job. What you'll find in a lot of jobs is that by doing a great job, you get rewarded with more work. You don't really get things like raises or progression. You'll find that even after years of good work, people are easily expendable and without remorse.
A lot of companies, in general, don't really give a sht about their employees.
So, yes, I think good work ethic is a good thing. But giving your job 110% and being the best ever, often doesn't get you much.
Obviously, these are generalizations and don't apply to everywhere, but you get the idea.
Lastly, on a much less serious note, most places have laws that require you be alloted breaks every once in a while. And even without a break, like in this instance, maybe he's just waiting for the oil to drain.
Lmao "sounds like a wild turkey" 😄 I freakin love all the "sounds like" ones, they're always hilarious
Love the Oil Change Dance.
They must do that when we're not lookin'.
Gotta do something while waiting for it to drain!
Great video as always!
I like the technician at the end. It was probably quitting time & he couldn't wait to drink some Wiser's scotch
.....or Wild Turkey!?!
No he's already three sheets to the wind.
Love seeing a hilarious but accurate description of a problem from a customer... And they brought it in for real diagnosis! Good on them. Would make a good turkey call.
(Puts fake turkeys on hood drives through fields with gun propped out window)
that's eyeleagel in some states! @@vs-ww7cb
I wish my customers were this good at describing noises. It’s like pulling teeth with these people 😂
If an oil change takes longer than 15 minutes on the average car, something is up.
I'm out of shape with arthritic knees and it takes me about 20 minutes to change the oil on my father's civic.
If it takes less than 15 min. then they most likely have sucked the oil insted of do it properly and drain it out like it supposed to do.
I change my own so I let the oil drain for an hour. @@XtreeM_FaiL
Looks like the oil change I got at Firestone. I went out in the shop and told them to go to work. The manager was afraid to tell them.
You don't piss off your cook, server or mechanic.
Or doctor.
@@catwoman2596
You are probably the same type of customer that is ask to bring in all your tools, because you have no mechanical or technical skills or knowledge what so ever!!!! If, you did, you would know not to piss off technician or mechanic. (period)
So you literally are the guy that asks to "speak to the manager" and hates seeing people enjoy their day at work.
Cool bruh.
I would check underneath the car for a turkey. 🤣🤣🤣
Wind noise when there is a massive kayak on your car, who'd have thought. Lmao.
Imagine driving your car to a mechanic with a kayak on top.
You know, whenever I hear a "grinding noise" coming from my vehicle I always look myself to see if there is anything apparent causing it before I'd even think about taking it to a mechanic.
Never in all my years has a grinding noise ever turned out to be something as easy to correct as a pylon stuck in my steering/suspension.
Guess I'm just not that lucky.
But you'd wait at least 2 weeks, right?
These aren't your Dads car owners!
It's no wonder why America has by far the worst road accident rate and highest motor insurance premiums in the first world. Is America ever going to join the rest of the first-world and introduce federal-level mandatory annual vehicle safety inspections, and powers of seizure of unsafe vehicles?
No, cuz you'll hear the rednecks screaming "Muh freedums!" And there might be some lead slinging on top of it cuz that is also a thing here.
thats why we left britan, and defeated the germans in the first place!!
@@rearspeaker6364 Russians defeated Germans
@@rearspeaker6364Russia, the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, India and the USA, defeated the Germans, Austrians, Italians, Hungarians, Romanians, Bulgarians, and Finnish. Don't make out that the USA did it all on its own because it didn't. The USA was the last ally to show up in European theatre, didn't get in gear until the final 2 years and, and with the exception of industry, made the smallest overall contribution. And it was the same in the Pacific theatre.
Per 100,000 of population, the UK ranks 9th for road deaths at 2.9 deaths per 100K each year. The USA ranks 75th with 12.9 deaths per 100K each year. It is by far the worst country in the 1st world for road safety. It even ranks worse than many 2nd and 3rd world countries. It has the most expensive motor insurance premiums in the world. Annual motor insurance premiums in the UK are 3-4 times cheaper than what they are in the USA. Your complete lack of adequate vehicle safety regulation and enforcement is not doing you any favours whatsoever.
I'm glad we don't have mandatory inspections because then my performance modified car which is completely safe would be deemed illegal.
"He removed the kayak and the noise went away." Beautiful
Loved all the surprises but mostly enjoyed the dancing, that was the cherry on the cake!!😊😅
Love your videos! Is there any way to add reaction time between videos? I find myself having to pause and rewind because I'm so shocked and miss the beginning of the next one.😂
the piece of steel puncturing through the car from another drivers unsecured load is honestly one of my fears, how the carelessness of someone else could lead you to a Final Destination style death. In this case the drivers were obviously OK, but I'm sure we've all seen LiveLeak videos where bad BAD things happened.
I wish I had taken pics when one of the leafs in my F150's rear spring broke. I couldn't get it out, so I put about ten zip ties on it and drove 25 mph to the shop. Scared to death I would fly off and injure someone.
Ive seen a steel pole run through the drivers seat with clothing bit attached. someone walked away with millimeters to spare. Most press wont cover final destination ones for obvious reasons.
That last one, it's good to have a happy mechanic!!!!!!
The last clip... Just living his life. I'd pay extra for the service of a happy tech.
The wild turkey sound is SPOT ON! Wow!
