That looks fantastic! You know, my only real experience with Kubey comes via Damned Designs since Kubey is their OEM. Nothing but positive feedback. They had a shortage of 14cn28 steel so they upgraded my Invictus to 154cm. Best part is you get all that for an amazing price

I have a Kubey momentum and a royal. Both are great and hit well above their price. The royal is a awesome little front flipper.

That’s pretty dang nice looking. Does it front flip easier than the civivi McKenna? Cus while I like the McKenna, it’s difficult to front flip with my huge hands. This looks very similar in size to that.
Ok, I ordered one. And I don’t even like front flippers. But damned if I can’t get over the looks and materials for the money. The best part is I can feel like I’ve got a fancy expensive knife but I don’t have to treat it like a shelf queen. Oh… and hooray for no stupid yuppie lanyard hole.

Yeah the Kubey Atlas is really nice too. There seems to be a pretty big difference between the KU and KB series (at least in my experience)

I got an Atlas before Christmas last year for less than $130. They are $165 now
This is probably my next purchase... I got to lick my wounds first though after buying a white mountain knives exclusive all titanium small artisan cutlery arion with S35VN.
I think Ganzo Knives, stupid name withstanding, are incredibly slept on and are punching well above their price point. Especially so with the Ganzo FH922 (also come on Ganzo, no one’s gonna remember these serial number alpha numeric knife names, just come up w actual names)
They also copy other designs directly which is why so many of us won't cover them at all.

Ganzo ain't nothing but a another Chinese knife company that's out cloning popular designs and just changing the lock type or some tiny detail... they even have some direct 1 to 1 clones, like the spyderco Medow lark clone and the spyderco military clones are exact 1 to 1 knock offs. They make a good knife for the money BUT they stealing of designs is absolutely lame.

I'm with you on lanyard holes -- I hate them. Why would I want a lanyard hanging out of my pocket so it snag on something?
Lanyards aren’t for people who carry or use their knives. It’s for decorating with special little beads and posing them on a rock or a stump to take photos to post on their social media sites. It’s like a pony tail or a tassel.
I enjoy Kubey’s. I prefer Kubey Barracuda KU299 over this model. s30v vs 20cv though. On this style of knife, that doesn’t make a huge difference to me

Kubey is probably underated because they started off by cloning. But they started doing their own designs so let's give em a second chance. Cuz honestly Metal Complex is right. They really do make good knives. And seriously, have any of you ever messed up in life?

the pocket clip is beautiful!! im so sick and tired of beautiful well thought out, well designed knives having a generic fat a$$ freaking pocket clip that totally ruins the intended feel of the knife! Just seems so freaking lazy when companies do that and it sucks. too many knives have been ruined by a large obnoxious pocket clip and it is freaking ridiculous lol

"Imagine how many they would sell if they didn't put Kubey on it" meaning "putting Kubey on the blade is factually bad and is resulting in bad sales." It's not only subjective, it's incorrect. Kubey is doing pretty well. I don't think changing it is a good idea.
