Thanks for the review, I’m really happy you liked it so much! It’s great to see you pointing out all the little details. The $200 price is MSRP, I believe it’s available for $160 on Amazon.
I’ve been impressed with the Kubey budget knives and am sure the premium line is awesome. Nice looking knife with premium materials, will need to check one out. Thanks for sharing Wayne!
It reminds me of an upgraded version of the Kershaw Atmos, better materials and design overall. I like my lil Atmos well enough, but wished the materials were better on it. This has a strikingly strong resemblance and sounds like it's a super lightweight like the atmos. Thanks for all you do Wayne, I appreciate the opportunity to learn about different knives and love the content man!
Man I *love* the Atmos. It’s like a little budget Shiro. It’s what I bought after the Zing, and it was better in every way, way back when I just started getting into knives. If they made it with premium materials? Oh man, yeah, instant home run. I still carry it sometimes, even owning a bunch of much much more premium knives now. I really like the looks of this Kubey, but not in love with dedicated front flippers yet..
Really sweet. I fully agree, this is a reasonable price for this much knife. I would be seriously considering one if I could afford it right now. Hopefully the future will find this knife in my pocket. You mentioned the Mckenna. Its been on the back burner in my mind for a long time. Do you think I need to act on it before it goes away save the secondary market? lmk anyone.
I have three or four Kubey knives, and the fit and finish on all of them are top notch. Superb actions with materials that are acceptable at a very competitive price point. I have been contemplating the TI Vagrant for some time. This may just seal the deal.
I saw Amazon had a couple of kubey ti/aus 10 models for around $80. Dont know if they are doing a clearance or that's just the new price point for the ti/aus 10 models, but I thought that was a pretty good price.
@@sharpwhits0167 that’s around the price range they used to be. But now that they’re using better steels and more appealing designs, the prices have gone up for Ti Kubeys.
Just ordered one today. I have his other kubey design, the Barracuda. It's amazing and very similar. Action and detent is perfection 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎😎

Super solid deal for $160! 👍🏼👍🏼
That knife is a steal at $160.
I immediately got McKenna vibes too. Nice looking knife, for sure!

Sent over by Freedomfroggear! Great knife!
👊🏼🙌🏼
small slim definitely a nice edc knife. Great review Wayne 👍
Thanks, Wayne. As soon as I saw this knife I said "upscaled/luxury Ria or CEO". A lil too pricey for a small knife, but I can see the appeal to some.
I was doing good not lusting for stuff until I started watching knife videos now I'm lusting for more knives !
Very nice looking knife, very much my style. Definitely worth a look.
Gonna be in my pocket for FF Friday! 👌🏼
It's kinda of got that Mallory design. Thanks for sharing brother. 👍🇺🇸🤙🇺🇸✌️

Ooh I've been eying this for awhile now. Let's see how it looks.
While there are nicer knives at this price point, it’s not a bad option. I thought I was going to sell it but it’s grown on me.

Looks like I got the made by Kubey part right.

Yea I’d definitely recommend picking up a McKenna.

That would be a sweet piece! 🔥
Looks very much like a ZT 0707
If the statement is that steak knives can be folders too, then yes. Nothing wrong with it otherwise I would say.
Even when Kubey was doing Ti with aus10 they had amazing quality.
Unfortunately, the snobs are out here. 🤷🏽♂️

Nice design, but sorry...for 200$ I'm going to get a TRM Atom in 20cv (whenever one becomes available in time for me to snag one).
$160 on Amazon
@@wpieter2459 Thanks, but still too much for me. If I'm spending that much, there are other knives I would consider. Thanks though.
I just picked one up from WMK $144 Lefty10
