oooh may have to hollar at my boys at bladeops, remember folks, blades for you ops. im an occasional knife content creator, and just got a baker forge phoenix from Asheville, and now im feeling that i need a new MT in my life, that or a deadlock
@@GerstBladeworks yeah I make dumb videos where I like to trigger people by using expensive shit for silly things. It would’ve been a right off that I would’ve regretted.
Just got my Hera II and Hera mini today. Hera mini is fun. But it’s basically a butter knife. There’s no edge at all. Guess I’ll have to get an edge on there myself. But for the price. Ehhh
Too bad it doesn’t come with T-8 screws, T-6 is ok, but i expect better from a “new” and improved model from Microtech. At least they’ve gone away from the proprietary screws that they’ve used in the past I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
As long as it’s professionally sharpened you will not void your warranty. That is merely stated because Bubba took his Microtech to a bench grinder and left nothing but a toothpick. Then he sends it in and thinks we can fix what’s left of a blade. “True story !”
If you use a professional grade sharpener and don’t hack up the blade you’re fine. I practiced sharpening on many cheap knives before I took a shot at sharpening a Microtech.
@As130thps hopefully that's the case. One gun store told me they check with a microscope and can tell if you did it or them, so who knows. I just stay away.
Excellent , my 83 yr old father loves his utx 70 so he ll love this too . I like the hidden screw construction . 👍👍.
Mine comes tomorrow! When I'm feel like going smaller than my Ultratech, I reach for the Dirac. So, I have a feeling I'm going to love this one!
Sooo mad that exactly what I wanted.. only straw I could grab was a cypher but I love it.
A Halo mini would be sick.
They make them . Mini halo and a super huge one
@@bowood3839 $3500 for the mini. 😬
Why do they not have serial numbers on the new models? Very confusing on clones or real production.
Hopefully other blade shapes will be coming out
Thanks Ray great looking knife I'm gonna get my daughter one to carry

I wouldn’t mind getting a dead lock if they weren’t thousands.. 😬hella excited for my new mini Hera though
@@jerryblainii1208 this knife is likely going to be similar in price to the deadlock based on the vibe they’re giving off here.
@@TheAdequateMedialol what ? The deadlock is like 3k these are 240

Hoping a S/E drop point Hera Mini comes out soon!
Ordered one today. Perhaps replacing my 2009 UTX-85.
Great marketing! Definitely getting one.
That's gonna be John Wick's knife in his next movie .

What do you mean by no edge? I got my Hera mini in the dagger and it’s razor sharp and cuts good for a tiny dagger blade.
Awesome price. Can’t wait to get one.
Nah. My perfect EDC is a new Halo. Where's it at guys?
Hoping the Socom mini comes back
Will there be a drop point?
is it sharp though? i feel like daggers aren't that great at slicing
Is it 2.1oz or 2.80z?
We'll never know
Is there a new Dirac?

Hi bro подари нож🇷🇺👍
I can't get past the warranty exclusion - you can't sharpen your own knife or you lose it. Sorry, I sharpen my other brands all the time.
