I hand-sharpen on whetstones and use a cheap USB microscope. I look dead-on at the edge and if i see any sparkling, I keep sharpening. When the dead-on edge reflects no light, I'm done. Stropping too, of course. Steal my ideas, you're welcome.

I just got my first ultratech yesterday (15 years of dreaming about this knife😁 they were unavailable in Poland 🇵🇱 before and are extremely expensive), already looking for next one🤣, seriously best thing I bought for myself ever, what a knife😍.

Can you explain to me why i keep seeing videos, comments, and reddit posts about microtech quality control going down hill the last few years? Why are newer microtechs not made nearly as well as older ones? Even more concerning is when people contact microtech about qc issues you blow them off and say contact the store they bought it from. It doesnt seem you stand behind your product. I always wanted a microtech but after all I've read and seen I'm starting to think twice.

I'm sure he has dragged many innocent civilians out of their car for being non compliant.

Hello from Kyiv! Just 1 question - wen!? new Ultratech will be available? I'm kinda new to knives but daaam Microtech knives is soooo cool especially Ultratech (also Socom and MSI and Troodon, maybe mini Hera? for wife(hehe), but My first Microtech will be this new Ultratech!)

I love Microtech knives like the Ultratech, but switchblades are illegal to own in so many places. I wish Microtech would make a manual tumb stud version of something like this with the stiletto dagger style blade and the same elegant look that knives like the Ultratech and the Dirac Delta has.

I’m not surprised at how sharp the serrations are. I feel like my serrated knives are some of the sharpest I have, and I still vastly prefer a serrated blade over a plain edge. Glad to see some actual numbers to back up my “feels.”

So I really wanted the Borka / Marifone combat troodon when it first came out bc it looks like the coolest OTF I've ever seen. Problem is it's $5,3000 and who TF would pay that. I did pay $55 for my damn near perfect clone in aluminum and D2 steel and F'N LOVING IT!!😈❤ The silly part is that the action is far more smooth on the clone than my genuine. That purchase spiraled me into buying 10 other Microtech clones and I don't regret it for a moment. Every single one I've disassembled and reassembled for cleaning and sharpening and all function flawlessly. I really like the Halo 6 ones, just wish I could figure out a way to put a pocket clip on it 😩

Nice collection, but that knife is gross, an insult to call a wakazashi, and the wrap is bad. That's not where the paper goes. Also, someone with this collection should know how to pronounce Edo.

I know you guys are busy but just want to say I'm hoping a video on how to tell a counterfeit from real stitch apart comes out eventually. I just got one it looks really good to me, but with how much people try to counterfeit your knives, I just want to be sure as I don't have a trained eye on how to tell. I'm just expressing, hoping I can confirm more easily on the new stitch, and I'm sorry if my comment comes off wrong and seems overly pushy or demanding. I think it's just my anxiety over if I screwed up buying a $300 fake even if it's unlikely

It still remains angular. Microtech designers should think about making it more streamlined and elegant. This is your only Front-knife with a polymer handle finish, the same as Socom's. He's good, but his angularity spoils him.

On Instagram, I wrote that the Cypher II knife has a gap in the light. And also that Microtech has blades that are not symmetrical. It's true. Why, instead of saying that you would fix the flaws, did you block me? Unlock it! In the meantime, I'll write about it everywhere.

I would like to see how the M390 steel does on this. I wish you would give us a choice on steels. Magna cut would be nice.
