Thanks for being a part of the project. It was great to see Max's reaction when he opened the box. I know he will treasure these.
Thank you for including me in the project. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing your video on the build.
It certainly looks good. Thanks Steven.
Thank you for watching and commenting. See you on the ARW discussions next year.
Hi Steve . Thanks for taking part in the build . You created a very good looking part . Cheers .
I enjoyed working on it. Looking forward to see the new shop all closed in.
Gday Steve, thanks for contributing to collaboration project, your part fitted very nicely, max was over the moon with the jacks, awesome job mate, Cheers
Max sure was surprised. It was fun working on the project. Thank you for participating.
That was a very nice collaboration from all of you. You could clearly see in Max's video that he was very happy with it.
It was a fun project for a deserving CZcamsr. Thanks for stopping by.
Good work and a great collaboration for a worthy recipient.
Thank you for watching and commenting. Max has a great business and channel, I always enjoy watching him work.
I'll be the first one to say Thank You for your contribution to the New Shop Warming gift for Max. I've been watching Max for a while now. His channel is so good I cut out most of the other channels I was watching, save Mr Pete.
I do remember seeing one of your videos about the compound angle, about a year and a half ago, when I was just learning Sin & Cos. I just saw a video a couple weeks ago about slope, now I fully understand Tan. Now on to Cot, Sec & Csc
I'm still saving to get my first lathe, but I really do appreciate all you creators sharing your knowledge. Thanks again, and as they say Cheers & So long for now.
It was a good time and I really enjoy watching Max's videos also.
Nice project Steve 👌
It was an interesting little project. I usually don't work to someone's drawings so it was a little different. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Nice work, Steve. My Dad and Grandad used to say "Perfect is good enough for rough work".
I usually do not have to work to that level of precision. I do enjoy it once in a while. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Wow Steve,,, a lot of time in this part. Thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
There was a lot of work in this little part but a really enjoyed building it. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Hi Steven, great to see your contribution. Very nice job - I am envious of the finish you get on the surface ginder! Thanks for your part in the projcet! Craig
One learns a lot of tricks when you have been grinding as long as I have. I was happy with the finish also. Great job on the box. Thanks for participating.
G’day Steven. You have made a worthy contribution to the collaboration, thanks.
Cheers
Peter

Hi Steve ... General people don't realise the work Involved in getting the type of Precision that you have achieved. Congratulations to you & the others for the Great Gesture of Creating & Producing such a Fine Present for Max, who is a Top 3rd Generation Machinist. Keep up your Great Videos, & we will catch up on the next one.
I get a lot a requests for grinding videos so I include a little of it on some of the projects. It was a lot of fun and we had to sit on it for a few months until Max received them. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Hello Steve,
An enjoyable video and a fabulous project by your guys for Max... top tip on the placing of the workpiece not at 90 degrees on the surface grinder, thank you.
Take care.
Paul,,
Thank you, it was a fun project. Thanks for watching.
Steven a comment, and I know better, Your surface plate looks too dirty to do any accurate measurements, BUT I know not to judge too much from camera views, as your drill bit was turning backwards when you drilled your first hole. I did a lot of looking and maybe your reference surface could use a cleaning??? Thanks for sharing and I have been following Max for quite some time we share the same "old man" posture, except he is just a kid. I enjoy you and Max because or your realistic approach and machining procedures. I NEVER worked in any shop, including my own, that I had all the tooling that I would of liked to have, improvising is the name of the game. Aloha and Mahalo Nui for sharing. I do appreciate the time you spend producing these clips.
The drill appears to run backward because of the frame count of the video camera. I cannot reverse the motor as it is hooked up even if I want to. As far as the surface plate, it is very old and looks a little rough however you can be sure that it is clean. I keep it covered with a piece of neoprene sheet and clean it every time it is used.
