No doubt we've run into each other! I kind of bounce around, doing some setups and turning others loose on the job. Past few years involved a couple of gears on the B&S horizontal, did a bunch of lathe work on the FE Reed for assorted projects, helped setup and give some direction on the cone pulleys on the Bullard too. I'll keep an eye out for you in August!
Mr Pete brought me here also. Looking forward for more interesting projects.

Glad to see you back at it. Insulating the garage door is a great idea. I added 2" foam sheets to my door, it made a major difference.
It is good to be back. Should be posting again in the next week of so. I have been out of state at train shows for a few weeks.

I will take what I went through over what happened to you any day. I seriously burned my hands when I was a teen. I can't image the pain that you when through with the extent of the burns you had. Thanks for stopping by.

I got the parts to put the dividing head together that you donated. I had a job for it that I was not able to video. It worked great. Thanks for your support. I may be making a change gear for my lathe later this year.

Get well soon Steven. I had a hard 2023 as well but in a good way. Had knee surgery back on January 25th and just the last two months or so feel it has healed very well. Take care and keep pumping out video's.
Hoping to keep posting. I have a lot of projects in the que as long as weather holds and I can get the time in the shop.

I'm also allergic to penicillin. Since I've had my knees replaced they want me to take antibiotics prior to dental procedures. They prescribed Erythromycin. Apparently it kills off the gut bacteria and it takes probiotics and about two weeks to get my digestive system working well again.
I went through several different antibiotics. They were not completely successful. We had to take the chance on the penicillin based antibiotics to knock the infection out so that they could operate. It was worth it to me. The option would have been having a colostomy after the surgery and that would have required a second operation to reverse it. Not sure how well I would have held up to that. Your hospital story sounds a bit like my trouble with infections three times in hospital fora week or so for three months finnally the infections got stronger then the iv antibiotics so they operated and removed the problem.
It was an interesting time for sure. Been just short of a year and no more issues. Thank you for watching and commenting.

OMG the gross medical negligence astounds me. ""Oh yeah your allergic to this so let's give you it". I wish you well.
The only negligence was that I did not get this taken care of years ago. My doctors and the surgeon were great. This is the readers digest version of the story. Thanks for watching and commenting
