These types of videos where you combine detailed sonar instructions with actual demonstrations on the water of how to do are easily the best of any fishing channel out there! Every other channel is usually just showing baits or explanations of locations but never combining it into a comprehensive end to end demonstration. Mikey Baltz is the only other channel that even comes close. Keep up exactly what you’re doing!
Glad you enjoy!! I appreciate the support
The Catch 15 series is the best group of videos you’ve made so far. Keep em coming!
When you caught the two, it sounded like our favorite team won the Super Bowl in my house… Wes and I were super stoked for you!
Show some love for the Garmin Echomap UHD, for my sake! lol
Will do!
Perfect! I have the same units lol
Same here. Looking forward to Garmin.
You da man! Always love your tips!
Yes please garman echomap
Can't wait to see the Sonar settings guide for Garmin... the documentation from Garmin is terrible, we are able to do the basics but feel like we don't maximize the capabilities of this technology.
Gotta love Jonny’s enthusiasm and his chartreuse pronunciation never gets old either! 👍
I've said this before....I have no idea why you don't have 1 million subs...seriously, you should have that many if not more. I really appreciate what you do and it's helped me a lot. That double was so awesome!!! keep up the good work.
I agree! I think is because he's not running into Karen's, yelling lets go let's go, and saying dude is a bigun 100 times.
Jonny, You're lessons and challenges are amazing!! FTM is my favorite BASS fishing channel... BY FAR!!
Its ridiculous how much I enjoy watching your videos!
The catch 15 videos are great. Entertaining and educational at the same time. It's great how you explain your tactics an d approaches so you can accomplish the catch 15.
I have never been fortunate enough to see those images on my graph
Thanks for sharing
Good stuff Jonny! 👀 🎣 👊🏼💯🇺🇸
Thanks for the tips my friend!
I'll say it again, I'm loving these catch 5 challenges. Very educational AND entertaining! 👍 Patiently waiting on your super extreme electronics comparison videos with your new multi system setup! 👍 👍
Wow Jonny! That finish was EPIC!! Great vid!
The professor has spoken
Who are the people disliking this quality info? Been watching your vids forever. I primarily fish bass but i also target lake trout, walleye, pike, salmon etc. These videos are not just for bass, they're great general knowledge on using a fish finder.
Man, I've never seen anyone catch 2 fish simultaneously on 1 lure. That was amazing!
Great video, you are an outstanding instructor! Thank you!
Great video/info! Thx for making the settings info available for sale too.
Finally an in depth video with callouts and points!!!!
Wow, your video production and content is so so good. Would have loved to see you eat some Bridgeford beef jerky while hogging in those nice bass!!
Fantastic!! One of my favorite videos of yours. Seeing all the steps, what you see on screen, analysis of what you see, decision on action needed and converting into catches……… INVALUABLE! Love your channel Jonny. Keep these challenges coming. Also looking forward to seeing the “setup” vids on your site. I have a Hook2 9 so will be checking your site.
I really enjoyed how you show how to differentiate bass from other species on the fish finder. Great video Johnny!
This is next level technical bass fishing education. Great stuff
Outstanding video Johnny! Informative and entertaining, awesome double catch.
that is something you don't see every day to catch two bass on one cast with a crank bait. and also you are doing a really great job on these videos and I sure do learn a lot, thank you.
I’ve done it once before. They love those kvd crankbaits so much they’ll fight over them 🤣
It is so good watching you catch after you found the fish . Good for us . No dought in my mind you could dominate in tournaments
Love these videos! Keep up the good work.
thanks for all the work you do so we are able to learn so much from all your hard work
pro told me as a kid if bass got to be 100lb they would hit bass boats running down lake like a top water plug i always look at bass see they got bite marks that mean there more bass around there
This was awesome video and VERY informative, Thank You!!!!
What an awesome video. Super informative, thanks
Great informative video. Thank you. This is the first time I seen someone explain how to identify what fish you are seeing on sonar. Awesome!!
I don't understand the dislikes. This channel is 🔥🔥🔥
That two fish catch was wicked
Great video and info!
I'm truly enjoying your video style. Thanks and keep up the great fishing!
Studly "Challenge Complete! HOT TIPS!
Awesome video Jonny! Nice fish as well. Love your videos as they are always very informative. Keep up the great work!
Love it. Great info. Looking forward to seeing the garmin video.
What a catch two on at one time . Waiting for the day
Great job you are a really good fisherman love your videos thanks Johnny
I fished a large pond almost a lake and we caught 56 fish within about a 4 or 5 ft area. I imagine these bass were definitely stacked ontop of each other. I always recommend your channel to my viewers as well. Keep up the good work
You are the Man Johnny ! As always great video !
Doubled up on the same cast!! That’s crazy!🎉
Nice video and very informative !! 👍
Very good video, learned a lot from it.
Thanks
Really enjoying these videos!
Cool stuff, would like to see you and randy do the 1v1 challenges, those are sweet.
Excellent video.
Great video on finding bass on electronics
Well Done!
So Informative.
Be well.
Impressive as always 👏
Thanks again for another great video
LOL love the enthusiasm...musta watched some Mean Gene videos to get pumped up!
Very good video. Thank you.
awesome video keep up the good work.
Great video!
Thanks for spending time on LOCATION and interpretation of graphs instead of just selling lures! Getting new Helixes and can use all the help I can get. "Fishing Professor" 👍 You must be a Doug Hannon fan too! "The Bass Professor."
Great video! Appreciate the gear overview at the end! Only problem is you make it look way too easy. 😉 The 5 fish challenges are great at simulating a tournament situation where you have to catch a nice limit quick. Would love to see you video a real tournament someday soon.
Great vedio!!
Thanks
just jim
Two fish on one cast! Epic! 🙂
get em back in the water man .. 12:01 - 13 .. thats a full minute .. ha ha .. Im messin .. your very talented bro .. thank you for your help just got a fish finder
It’s awesome you live in the same area I do and fish the same lakes.
I love how he says FISSSSSHHHH every time!!!
Must watch video!
I just watched Randy ranting about clickbait titles and typing in all caps and this video was the very next one that came up. I couldn't help but laugh.
I like that someone else other than me is practical with purchasing reels.
I've dropped enough money on, my boat, electronics, and tackle. As long as my rod is good the reel will be fine.
That was epic!
Love this video because it shows how to find fish off the graph. My decision now is if I get a chance to upgrade my graphs before next Spring do I just go Garmin for their live or stick with my favorite HB units? Currently having a Lowrance G3 touch at the console and a HB G3 9" up front that not got SI. My hope was to get two HB G4 with everything and their live up on the bow but so far not all that impressed with the lives other than the Garmin 🤷🏻♂️.
Johnny is a machine
Bad ass. Good job , great video
Today's DOUG HANNON .Teach,Explain,Demonstrate,Educate. Thank you !!!!
Awesome!!!!
grand lake, heck yeah!
100% awesome 😮
thanks
Nice!
Doubled up!!!! 💪💪💪💪💪
Johnny what are bright gold dot clusters I'm seeing on side and down scan? Thanks.
This is one of your top 10 videos for sure! Tons of information to review multiple times. Do you have any screen shots of that last school of crankbait bass on the mega 360? That would be very helpful. Awesome finish with that double.....mic drop!
I do but the images came out blurry in the screenshots. They weren’t good enough to show in the video. I’m not sure why, but all of the screenshots of mega 360 look terrible compared to what they actually look like on screen.
@@FishtheMoment Too bad. Any links to other of your videos showing mega 360 views showing bass?
I haven’t made one yet. I’m planning to in the next few weeks. I finally found a good filming setup to record the screen so I just need a few weeks to get all the footage together
@@FishtheMoment I can barely wait. Getting my mega 360 soon!
Hey Ron. My team has been trying to send you a Lake Breakdown, but your email is blocking our messages with attachments. Is it possible to send us an email with an alternative email address?
Awesome video. Can you speculate as to where the bass may have been at your first location down lake? I'm assuming it was a clear water scenario...great job on the double
There was a big tournament the week after I fished and a lot of guys caught them around boat docks on that end of the lake. I did see some fish suspended on docks, but it’s not the easiest or fastest way for me to catch 5 fish so I just ignored them.
Great video, how far off are you? Do you think the electronics could cause them not to bite? Keep up the great work!
I was about 120ft away from the brush pile and 80ft away from the school of fish on the point. All of my fish bite near the very end of my cast, so I think staying far away helped
I caught some nice bass on that point, going into horse a couple weeks ago
Horse creek is my favorite part of Grand lake. It’s the most consistent area for me year round
Great video - how about some Garmin settings ?
Did bass works set up a Garman unit on the boat? Would love to see some Garman
Ok when you found bass at the bottom, what is the first lure you’re gotten cases??
i know its hard to know what the size is i catch fish all the time an i cant tell between stripe bass an white bass large mouth or spot bass the size looks same on my 2d sonar looks like spegetti
Nice
I have a 7” raymarine element.can you touch on it. It’s specifications.thank you
Do add anything to the water in your live well to keep the bass alive??
Need help with settings on an older Lowrance 2d sonar..
If you have 2,000 dollars to spend. What unit would you suggest for a front bow unit. I typically fish inshore species. I have a Lowrance ti2 at the center console.
Maybe best video I’ve saw very helpful
Now if you can help me get off work to try mine 😕
6XD is king but I love me some Green Gizzard Shad!
That’s the juice. I ran out this spring and need to get more.
Carp and bass is probably the hardest to distinguish.
Would be curious if you ever mistake stripers or hybrid striped bass for black bass .
Do you put anything in your live well to help keep bass alive?
I don’t even use sidescan much anymore I tell u why. Th bigger bass will sometime travel alone so therefore would u notice on sidescan maybe maybe not. U run on average 3-4 mph correct using sidescan. With the garmin force u can do 3-4 mph while scanning just using livescope plus my other unit on the front is hooked up to sidescan on the rear. So if u ask me what makes more sense? Plus using the garmin force it’s quieter etc. can’t tell u how many 7 plus pounders I’ve caught doing this and I wouldn’t have seen em if I was idling with the big Moter
Man that's the way I like to fish you crushed them!
With the settings guide I have a question. I don't actually bass fish very often anymore since I moved to Florida, I transitioned over to saltwater or bay fishing. I still watch you, Randy and a handful of others though. My question is how much would the settings change for fishing 40‐75 feet of water in pensacola bay or nearshore gulf of Mexico. Obviously bass would be familiar to inshore species redfish, speckled trout flounder, even get the occasional bass if I'm close enough to fresh water. I'm sure your settings would help there but would they work for targeting reef oriented fish in 60+' of water. Tech info I'm running older Lowrance hook 7s and a garmin 94sv. It's what came on the bay boat I bought. Probably updating both of the hook 7s to garmin. Find it easier to navigate and want all 3 linked so I can see the same thing anywhere in the boat. Also plan on getting livescope. More for castneting bait than fishing. Seen some amazing tricks for using it to locate bait balls. Saves a ton of time fishing for bait when I want the things that are gonna eat said bait. Would your setting suggestions help for my application? Tia great content btw
I wouldn’t recommend my settings for Saltwater. There are a lot of factors that would change and I don’t think they would translate that well unfortunately.
@@FishtheMoment thanks for the advice. I'm probably gonna have you or randy do a lake map breakdown for the river systems feeding pcola bay lake map breakdown. Maybe 5 miles up each river for south wind days when water is to rough to get out in my boat. It's nothing to get 6' waves on a bad day here. Those are my bass days. Yellow, blackwater and Escambia rivers. T top cat go under the bridge to Simpson river.
