    These types of videos where you combine detailed sonar instructions with actual demonstrations on the water of how to do are easily the best of any fishing channel out there! Every other channel is usually just showing baits or explanations of locations but never combining it into a comprehensive end to end demonstration. Mikey Baltz is the only other channel that even comes close. Keep up exactly what you’re doing!

    Love this video because it shows how to find fish off the graph. My decision now is if I get a chance to upgrade my graphs before next Spring do I just go Garmin for their live or stick with my favorite HB units? Currently having a Lowrance G3 touch at the console and a HB G3 9" up front that not got SI. My hope was to get two HB G4 with everything and their live up on the bow but so far not all that impressed with the lives other than the Garmin 🤷🏻‍♂️.

    I don’t even use sidescan much anymore I tell u why. Th bigger bass will sometime travel alone so therefore would u notice on sidescan maybe maybe not. U run on average 3-4 mph correct using sidescan. With the garmin force u can do 3-4 mph while scanning just using livescope plus my other unit on the front is hooked up to sidescan on the rear. So if u ask me what makes more sense? Plus using the garmin force it’s quieter etc. can’t tell u how many 7 plus pounders I’ve caught doing this and I wouldn’t have seen em if I was idling with the big Moter

    With the settings guide I have a question. I don't actually bass fish very often anymore since I moved to Florida, I transitioned over to saltwater or bay fishing. I still watch you, Randy and a handful of others though. My question is how much would the settings change for fishing 40‐75 feet of water in pensacola bay or nearshore gulf of Mexico. Obviously bass would be familiar to inshore species redfish, speckled trout flounder, even get the occasional bass if I'm close enough to fresh water. I'm sure your settings would help there but would they work for targeting reef oriented fish in 60+' of water. Tech info I'm running older Lowrance hook 7s and a garmin 94sv. It's what came on the bay boat I bought. Probably updating both of the hook 7s to garmin. Find it easier to navigate and want all 3 linked so I can see the same thing anywhere in the boat. Also plan on getting livescope. More for castneting bait than fishing. Seen some amazing tricks for using it to locate bait balls. Saves a ton of time fishing for bait when I want the things that are gonna eat said bait. Would your setting suggestions help for my application? Tia great content btw

    • @FishtheMoment
      @FishtheMoment  Před 2 lety

      @@FishtheMoment thanks for the advice. I'm probably gonna have you or randy do a lake map breakdown for the river systems feeding pcola bay lake map breakdown. Maybe 5 miles up each river for south wind days when water is to rough to get out in my boat. It's nothing to get 6' waves on a bad day here. Those are my bass days. Yellow, blackwater and Escambia rivers. T top cat go under the bridge to Simpson river.
