Lots of people especially CZcamsrs focused on video games know who Sylux is.
Doesnt mean only Metroid fans know who he is.

Was I the only one anticipating a Metroid Prime 4 trailer at the end of the Nintendo Direct? It felt like the right time to finally reveal new information on the game... But even still, I was pretty damn hyped by what I saw! Really excited to see what the Hell Sylux has been up to all this time!
Want a Prime 2 and 3 remaster as well but i would also love for them to remaster Hunters to help people who never played it learn a little about Sylux
Hunters really needs it the most to appreciate its full quality nowadays. It didn't age very well even though it's incredibly impressive for its time.
Metroid Prime 4: BEYOND looks incredible, so much more going on in the environments, explosions going off in the b.g... improved space pirates enemy A.I, new scanning, new real time lighting effects on the morph ball animation, etc... Retro studios is squeezing out every ounce of what base Switch can do, 10 yr old hardware w/ Prime 4 and the game still looks as good as it does is more impressive in my opinion than what we're getting on the other platforms w/ hardware that is that much more capable.. imagine what the Switch 2 version is going to look like...
Metroid Prime Hunters has story relevance

Deserved. Definitely doesn’t hold up against the trilogy but for a DS Prime game that was probably about as good as it could have been. Plenty of good memories of that game
Hunters was actuall bad in compare. But yeah, i love seeing Sylux again!

I won't lie, seeing Metroid Prime 4 after seven years feels like an absolute miracle.
The second miracle of this game after the simple fact of existing.
Seven years and it's finally here. Now what are they gonna do with Hunters, Prime 2 & 3? Are they getting remastered or ports? Can't jump from 1 to 4 without those games.

The only "Game thing" they have problems with is, that Samus is always OP at the end of the Game and they have to find a way, to take everying away from her again.😅
I hope so, it would be nice, especially for Hunters because this game is always the long forgotten Prime game and its controls definitely deserve a rework. A whole remake of it would be the greatest thing. Also it's the major game that features Sylux so it matters.

Calling it now i think Sylux becomes the next Metroid Prime, his obsession and ability to control Metroids somehow almost directly points to that.

They're the equivalent to what Rare was in the n64 era.
Retro's Donkey Kong Country games and Metroid Prime are absolutely fantastic games. They really are the new Rare for Nintendo.
Kinda want to see what they could do with other dormant Nintendo franchises. A Retro Star Fox, F-Zero, or Ice Climbers getting a revitalizing like Kid Icarus got on 3DS would be brilliant. (I'm thinking Ice Climbers could be Nintendo's Uncharted-esque game with cliff climbing, ruin exploring, but with hammers instead of guns. And two player co-op as an option)

Hmmm... Looks very Prime 3 to me. The ship, Samus' suit, the design of the pirates, as well as the whole "planet under siege" shtick giving me massive Norion vibes. As a guy who considers MP3 to be the worst in the trilogy, it does have me a bit concerned... Graphics look great tho!
From what they've shown so far, I agree it feels very Prime 3. What I hope to see them do is take some of the more interesting and underwhelming mechanics from that game and use them in a more interesting way (i.e having multiple planets to explore), plus without all of the tacked on motion control mechanics.
@@MiggetyMattR yeah I get they have to show some of the more exciting action packed moments for the trailer, but I'm really hoping this game goes back more to the basics of atmospheric exploration and detailed world building. Basically I want this game to be more MP1 and less MP2/MP3. I've already watched a few reactions of people praising the game saying it looks like Halo 😔

Very Happy with the trailer but I feel you can really see they didn't have a clue about how to move the series forward and they copied as much as possible from the original Trilogy...
I'm a Metroid fan but this is pretty underwhelming to be honest. 7 years of development and the gameplay looks the exact same as it did 20+ years ago, visually doesn't look any better than Prime Remaster which is fine by Switch standards but very dated compared to what everyone else is doing, re-using a lot of the same music and sound effects. I wanted something new and fresh to push the franchise forward like BOTW did for Zelda even if that meant being a Switch 2 exclusive, but instead we are getting what just looks like a pretty standard update that for some reason took 7 years to release

MP Remastered is one of the best looking Switch games and it runs at 60fps, you are quite literally spoiled on how good you are getting.
Botw is the most overrated game of all time. It just copied the formula of other open-world games. The divine beasts sucked ass, the shrines all look the same and Get boring after a while, music sucked, enemy variety was lacking, side quests were mostly just fetch quests.

I just wanted it to be something new and fresh for the series to push it forward for the next gen, based on the trailer Metroid Prime 4 looks like it could’ve come out on GameCube albeit in SD instead of HD

@@Alex-1776 How can you judge a game with just those few seconds of gameplay? It's Retro/Nintendo, of course it's not going to be exactly like the original Prime games. You can be sure they will throw in some new mechanics/gameplay etc.
Lmao it looks surprisingly awful, much worse than Metroid Prime Remastered and it gives a bad first impression. Thankfully its just Switch 1 footage, the Switch 2 version is the one that this game is gonna live by.
