    It has always been my intention, that although there were some good engineers and general motors. The morons that decided to require you to take part of the wheel tub out of the way and take the grill off the automobile before you could get the headlights off of the vehicle are absolute idiots. General Motors for several years had a nice clean you lift the hood you pull two locking mechanisms up and you slide the headlight bucket out and replace it. A completely clean and simple removal and reinstallation.
    As an addition, the price you're paying for that headlight assembly, the wiring should already be on it.
    There's also a problem with where they put the low beam in high beam on the truck. These trucks set relatively high and even if you're low beam is set level you're constantly blinding oncoming drivers and drivers that you're coming up behind. The low beam should be on the bottom of the headlight assembly not the top

  • @44hawk28
    @44hawk28 Před měsícem

    The tutorial on setting your headlight broadcast height is in error. The level for both lights should be at the level of the headlight. Which is why you can't do that on that freaking truck. The truck uses the highest position for the low beam. And it shouldn't be all that is doing is blinding oncoming drivers and people that you're coming up behind. You should use the lower element as the low beam. Hence the name. But the top edge of the light in Mission Valley should be at the same level. Otherwise within about 100 foot you are not Illuminating anything in front of the driver. You're depending on the right side low beam to do all of any decent distance illumination. I don't know where you got that idea that you put it 2 in below level or 4 in below level. But they should be at level. At the worst you should be less than half a degree below level at 100 ft. Which would make it 6 in at 100 foot. Now you're talking about less than an inch and a half for both headlights at 25 ft.
