Its the opposite in my stock 2012 silverado. Clockwise lowers them, counter-clockwise raises them. I keep hearing the opposite of that on every video but im certain that on stock ones at least, it's definitely what i said above.
I own a 2011 Silverado and on my truck it's completely different... Maybe it's because you have aftermarket lights installed? Just saying... Unless someone has the same aftermarket lights as you this video is useless.

Try doing it at night so you can see it going up or down. Not sure why it won’t work, it’s a pretty basic thing.
