Funny thing is, dreadnought refers to a type of battleship weapons layout, not "how big it is". HMS Dreadnought was the first "all big gun" battleship built expressly to have as many 210+ degree turrets as possible, so that's why they called them Dreadnoughts. Later, they split them up into Destroyers, Cruisers, Battlecruisers, Battleships and Capital Ships.

Fun fact: the death korp didn’t name themselves that. It was a nickname they earned fighting alongside other guard units. Another fun fact: most kriegers are pretty handsome from the little we know. Gray eyes, blonde hair and fair skin, at least partially due to everyone on their planet living underground.

I mean plot armor sure, but realistically the Empire of Star Wars could clap the Imperium in size and production plus more advanced technology

Honestly a Krieger and Clone Trooper could have begrudging respect for each other. Both are clones in different ways and both are willing to lay down their lives for what they are fighting for.
It's just that Clone troopers have a more free-thinking, less suicidal (relatively) and flexible way of fighting.
While the Krieg are stubborn and willing to die by the droves (unless its the Big Push on Vraks).
Watch any clone wars episode where there's clones fighting, and take a shot when they do a suicidal tactic like jumping out of cover while under fire, or advancing to melee range against a sith, and the difference really isn't noticeable. At least the death korps uses extensive trench lines, fortifications, and artillery.

You are aweare he is issued with an Object called a Bayonet that would be there firsr choice in melee

@@JoshMC2000 Bayonet is just a blade, which you would have to make a very close quarter distance and lots of effort to stab through. A shovel can act as both blunt and slash type, making stab-proof armour quite useless. A shovel can block ur enemy's effort to restrain you. If u stab through his arm and lose ur Bayonet, ur fcked. U can simply slap ur enemy's hand to back him away. Since the Bayonet is attachable to rifles, it's only meant to act as a spear so it's a no-go to block their attack which could harm ur rifle. Bayonet are good for one stab one kill but Shovels are simply a superior choice to a head-on fight.
And yes, u can dig holes with a shovel too, which Bayonets can't. You can also dig trenches or bury a body so Shovels are 2 in 1 purchase.

Aside from the fact that a Krieger would rather jump in an acid vat than lose his standard issue equipment, you completely overestimate the uses of a garden tool.
It is funny to think that in cannon the Stormtroopers within the Stormtrooper Corp of the Galactic Empire are considered to be one of the most fanatical and most loyal soldiers to the Emperor himself which is also often why we don't get situations with Stormtroopers defecting to the Rebels and many decided to fight to the bitter end of the empire. So some might say that the Death Korp and the Stormtrooper Corp are somewhat alike in some things.

What if lore-accurate clones are not like the ones we see like with Ankain, Plo-Koon, or, Obi-Wan, but how they are described in legends (better than Disney lore) the ones who are treated just like the Krieg or any imperium standard infantry in general combat... I would love to see them being bros now, think about it, a clone and Death Korp. Or a galactic marine and Death Korp... Big group.
That would be SUPER BADASS if that happened a Crossover of WH40K to SW in the clone wars.

There actually already is a SW vs 40k Crossover set during the Clone Wars. It’s a fanfic video series by a CZcamsr called AFanWithTooMuchTime. I can’t account for taste obviously, but I’d say it’s definitely worth checking out.
I prefer the Extended Universe before Disney bought it. If Kyle Katarn were in the new movies then Rogue One would've been about 5 minutes long.
Real Canon Clones not Retconned Filoni Baloney were true Soldiers and Warriors. Half the GAR embraced Mando'a by year 2 and were fully aware of their heritage from Jango Fett. Many a clone sung Vode An and no more so than Commandos trained by the best the Cul Var' Dar.

the storm troopers aren't clones and by the time of A new hope, most clones that stayed with the empire are either retired or helping to train storm trooper recruits, not in active combat roles.

The Death corp would like the actual interpretation of the Stormtrooper Corp since they think relatively the same thing. Stormtroopers are beated mentally that they should lay down their lives for the Empire and Emperor, and so they did without hesitation. @@c0ya1 basically, the only french thing about them is the big coat, the rest is basically everything based on the german army from the first to the second world war, the uniforms of the officers, the stormtruupen units themselves, including their artillery, besides of course their weapons, as per example the "Heavy Stubber", being based on the MG-42

What makes the Kreiger's cool is not the stoic calm they show in battle or the hunger to die for the God Emperor but the fact they are just men of flesh and blood who will stand against any foe without fear or worry of survival. These are men who can't be scared off or reasoned with and who will stick to their principles no matter the cost even if they face the daemons of the warp with nothing but a bent entrenching tool. We should all aspire to as determined in the things we pursue as they are, to be as steadfast and stalwart for those we care about as they are for the Emperor. That's why are cool, they embody the human spirit to fight on no matter the olds which is worthy of admiration. Sure they are fictional characters but they can teach a lesson about standing firm in adversity which very little in the modern day offers.
Being recruited to krieg is better than dying to krieg... As the new soldier your odds at survival and shooting targets will be better than a new red shirt being introduced in original star trek.(there had been at least one red shirt who had survived in the series).
You don't get "recruited" into Krieg. It's your only option besides "factory worker"
The reason the krieg is so popular is because they are badass and even though the objective is suicidal, they will still do the mission, no matter the cost

Stormtroopers weren't actually meant to be memed into being horrible shots. In the first instance, they actually have above-average accuracy, after all the empire wouldn't want a noticeable decrease in quality from its troops after it phased the clones out. It's just that most people seem to forget that they're going up against the equivalent of space Jesus as well as plot armor being a thing for the main trio; which results in most of the time shots either missing entirely or injuring them in a way that isn't going to kill them.

True i get the whole plot armor is strong in both but i remember reading in lore talking about storm troopers being inaccurate due to not be able to see well through the visors so the way i see it they're running into a fight with the krieg not being able to see well inaccurate af or taking their helmets off shooting better but exposing their heads i just see them at a huge disadvantage the whole fight
@@rustyshackleford9604 Actually, the only reason people couldn't see in those helmets is because the helmets have advanced sensors that check to see if the one wearing is the one who registered the armour. If it comes back negative, they get a shit view and none of the sensor systems.
Ok, this is the best one yet, Now I have to subscribe, only worse thing for him now is to come across a black Templar, just picturing one BT astartes screaming and yelling prayers as he's massacring an entire platoon of Stormtroopers, and Main guy here is just hiding behind a box contemplating taking his armor off to survive.

actually, the uniform combines elements of German, french, and English military uniforms from ww1 not ww2. the Nazis didn't come about until after the first world war, back then Germany was an empire under a Constitutional monarchy. furthermore the empire in star wars is explicitly based on Nazi Germany, so in way i could argue that lucasfilm made gave the Empire its aesthetics to "get money out a certain kind of person" as you put it

Their name, Death Korps, is an obvious throwback to Nazi Germany. They wear the Stahlhelm, which was present in both world wars and was a key cultural identifier to the WW2 German army and a central icon to Nazi propaganda.
You show a non 40k fan a picture of a DKK, and they'll say "German." They are built from the ground up to appeal to the Nazi aesthetic, and Games Workshop knew this.
Oh, and their planet is called Krieg.
The hilarious thing about their fans is that everyone revels in their German aesthetics, making them speak and act German. But then when someone says something about it, they knee-jerk to day that they're British or something as if their silhouette isn't absolutely that of SS soldiers.

@@revolrz22 the helmet is a mix between the German Stahlhlem and the french Adrian helmet and also the gas mask and respirator is based on the British small box respirator. the entire design predates Nazism and is Thematically based on ww1 not ww2-specifically trench warfare overwhelmingly associated with ww1, as well as their penchant for throwing themselves at the enemy's guns by the thousand, a deliberate allusion to the wasteful ''over the top'' tactics used by uncaring generals at the time. the dkok willingness to throw themselves at the enemy with no concern for their own life, in the name of devotion to some far flung leader who doesn't even know they exist, is meant to be a tragic allusion to the millions senselessly lost in the first world war, not something to be proud of. like much of 40k they're supposed to be ironic, something that is lost in the memes and even in official lore taking itself too seriously. further just because something has a german name doesn't mean that it involves the nazis! hell, when you see a Buddhist with a Swastika around their neck do you run over and rip it off? because fun fact: the Nazis appropriated everything! including their own culture! taking symbols, ideas, names and whatever else they could find in order to twist them in a way that would support their agenda. i know the american education system is bad but for f sake go read a book!

There is nothing relating to the Adrian helmet on their stahlhelm. The crest present on their helm doesn't even remotely resemble the one on the adrian, and even if it did, it doesn't change the silhouette in any meaningful way.
So, key components of their visual aesthetic are either ripped directly from German or German inspired. They're called the Death Korps of Krieg, use German spellings, and have the suicidal psychology of the SS. But You're going to maintain that they have nothing to do with glorifying German militarism in the 30s and 40s.

Man I would watch the shit out of an anime featuring a Star Wars stromtrooper isakai'ed into the WH40k setting and through some mixup of the word "emperor" ends up enlisted in the Imperial Guard, constantly getting transferred because he's clearly human, clearly a solider, he isn't lying about serving "the emperor" but nobody can figure out where he's from, and even as he's figuring out he's in another universe he's in total denial about it because that would mean there's no way home.
