I hate that 90 billion was just signed away and no one is talking about it. Its absolutely maddening to know all our money is going overseas with nothing left for us here in America. We cant even pay our own bills here at home and their just giving our money away.
$90 billion is nothing to the US government. You want to know what's REALLY eating up our money is our military budget! $800+ billion dollars go into our armed forces every year! for the last year I keep getting yt recommended videos of news articles that are 7+ months old and it seems locked on that date, throwing them at me so often I recognize them on sight now.

Plus TikTok has been caught diminishing a great deal of subjects that are very common on American platforms such as Instagram. The studies have already been made, people just need to become aware. It's not a proper "free speech" platform.

For starters you ignore the serious national security issues created by TikTok. Which is what got this started in the first place. That with it's state ownership effectively render a 1A argument out the window. States by *definition* do NOT have "rights", they have duties. One of those duties is providing a defense against foreign psyops and data mining.
Second, American data mining IS an issue, but it is a separate issue, that must be dealt with on its own.
Finally, given your obvious TikTok addiction and willingness to extend *more* constitutional protection to an active enemy of the US tells me that you would be using the same arguments used for the TikTok ban to argue for banning firearms and privacy.

Without the algorithm, will effectively mean that whoever buys it will be reliant on the Chinese company for licensing the algorithm. They are likely trying to create a situation where the terms will be so bad that no one will buy the company, then use the lack of a buyer as a reason to get a permanent junction on the ban.

Im getting old news videos occasionally. Not as much in the past at least. Could be that sometimes I throw the algorithm off when I try to search for old videos, although they are not news videos. CZcams also has a habit of throwing you recommended videos if you just looked at 1 one video. CZcams is also getting to the point that, while you might have alot of videos to choose from, you kind of don't want to watch them. Kind of like cable. Then again CZcams wants to become the new cable.
I hope it succeeds, maybe then people will post more often on Rumble. Some are daily but some are four months between posts. That's very annoying.

CZcams's recommend has been near useless for a long time now. I've gone so far as to use a RSS feed to manage my subscriptions.... Being able to use tags and categories to sort what i'm in the mood for was a massive improvement.

last I knew for a foreign company to operate in China they have to partner with a Chinese company. but I'm not sure if the U.S. has a similar rule or was trying to create one with this law maybe.
There's blood in the water now. I heard a story about a CZcamsr who is also on Instagram who found one of their reels exploded in popularity with likes, so much to the point where this person no longer wants to be a CZcamsr. I think Instagram is creating fake likes for certain individuals in order to bring them over to specifically their platform. It's going to be interesting to watch all of this drama play out.

I've been seeing super old videos from not only Clownfish but other channels I follow or have followed, with weird adjacent videos being recommended as well. I thought this was due to me attempting to tailor my feed with "don't recommend this channel again" and such right-click options on videos. Hmm
My thoughts on the Tik Tok ban from my 37 year old perspective:
Imagine the unspeakable evil this will unleash.....the younger generation will have to have face-to-face interactions with their peers......which might lead to a domino effect of them forming meaningful and lifelong friendships and memories, they'll have to.....can't believe I'm about to type these words.......play outside and get dirty and have actual experiences......and, and they won't have the government or insufferable influencers telling them how to think or brainwashing them with propaganda.....

The algorithm probably has information in it that the current owner doesn't want to be made public. Such as how it can promote videos with particular political views to reshape the political views of its users.
