The buffer region isn’t controlled by the Polisario. Morocco is using it as a buffer in the case of an attack against the security berm, so that it doesn’t attack inside Algeria Borders when it retaliates, causing an larger conflict.

Hi, nice video! I just want to point out an error: There's only ONE phosphate mine in "western sahara" , the Bou Craa mine, and it makes up less than 10% of morocco's production.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR OBJECTIVE MESSAGE ABOUT MY COUNTRY, SUPER WELL DONE, MY COMPLIMENTS!!! A YEAR AGO I ASKED YOU TO MAKE A VIDEO ABOUT MOROCCO, AND YOU DID A SUPER WELL, NOTHING TO ADD, NOT POLITICALLY INTENDED BUT MORE FOCUS ON THE STATE OF AFFAIRS. MOROCCO WAS AN EMPIRE, AND AS YOU SAID THE ONLY COUNTRY IN NORTH AFRICA WAS NOT COVERED BY THE OTTOMANS, MOROCCO WAS ALSO VERY STRONG AND THEY DEFENDED THE COUNTRY WELL AND BEATED THE TURKS. THE WESTERN SAHARA NEVER EXISTED AND IS A MOVEMENT THROUGH ALGERIA SINCE 1975, THEREFORE IT WILL NEVER BECOME A LEGITIMATE STATE, AS YOU HAVE SEEN UNDER THE DYNASTIES OF ALMORAVID AND ALMOHAD MOROCCO WAS GREAT GEOGRAPHICALLY.

Actually, i find it very disrespectful that even after you knew that all Moroccans Consider the southern part of the country ( Western Sahara) as a part of Morocco, Historically speaking or realistically speaking it was and it will remain always Moroccan. But you still intentionally used the incorrect divided map, which I don't really understand why you have done it. And as a recap, The Sahara is Moroccan (both Western Sahara and Western Sahara
he is being unbiased
Kudos to the channel for being unbiased. Marcha Verde should be taught for what it was and show to the rest of the world the intentions of Maroc for their project of 'the Great Maroc' which is bollocks and a delusion by the monarchy to have a reason to exist and not have their own people kick them from the throne.
I live in the northern part of morocco but a large portion of my family and friends live or come from the western Sahara , and everybody there already consider themselves Moroccan down to the last cell , while every time I watch a video on this topic , it always ignores what the people of that region think , are their loyalty bound to morocco or not ?
FYI by saying "Western sahara" you are saying that it's its own place, and showing support to the terrorists lead by you know who to try and separate it fro Morocco. You want to say "the Moroccan sahara" or "South of Morocco" buddy.
Well free Western Sahara 🇪🇭

I still don't comprehend why you didn't show the whole map of Morocco, even though historically speaking it is illogical to show it divided, but what has triggered even more is the fact that you explained, why us the Indigenous people of North africa or the "Amazigh" people don't like to be called as "berbers" and yet you still refer to us by "berbers" . However the video was not a disappointment, you mentioned solid facts and broke down many of the misunderstood ideas about us, so I as a Moroccan I thank you for that!
What do the people called Berbers prefer to be called? I thought Amazigh was the language. Just want to get this correct. Just started working with someone and wish to not say the wrong thing.

Thank you! Definitely will do Albania soon! 🇦🇱
Morocco was united. And it will forever.
As many pointed out, there is only one phospahte mine in Western Sahara and it produces only 2% of Morocco's phosphate according to the USGS and the OCP, the rest (6 mines) are in the Atlas region. Great video.
The Almohads used to say about their origin that they were pure Arabs. Abd al-Wahid al-Marrakshi (13th century AD), a contemporary of the Almohad state era, says in his book (Al-Mujab - FI - talkhis) of the News of Morocco”: “Abd al-Mu’min ibn Ali, the caliph of the Almohads, used to say his sermon when he mentioned Kuma (Kumi): I am not one of them, but rather we are Qays ibn Aylan ibn Mudar ibn Nizar.” Ibn Ma'ad Ibn Adnan, and we have the right of birth among them and origin in them, and they are maternal uncles.
As for Al-Mahdi bin Tumart, the founder of the Almohad state, he used to describe his person and origin in all his letters and in his books by saying: “From Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Arabi Al-Qurashi Al-Hashimi Al-Hasani Al-Fatimi Al-Muhammadi.”
Cool!
Western Desert And it will remain as it is
Great video! However, this topic is full of propaganda that was made by Algeria.
Firstly, the buffer zone is not controlled by Polisario. It was marked as a demilitarized zone by the UN after a peace agreement was made in the 1990s between Morocco and Polisario. you see that curvy line that is not just any line; it is the longest minefield in the world. It was created to prevent Polisario (Algeria) from attacking major cities in the south and to prevent terrorist groups that exist in southern Algeria and Mali from attacking Morocco. Despite the terrorist groups that exist in the south of Algeria and Mali, the south of Morocco remains safer than most European countries.
Remember that peace agreement between Polisario and Morocco? it is no longer valid after Polisario broke the agreement in 2020. Morocco has since been cutting pieces of land and expanding the minefield. It is likely that Morocco will claim all of the land in the future. Algeria and Polisario have tried to stop this, but they failed miserably because of the advanced military drones that Morocco possesses.
Historically, not only the south of Morocco belongs to us, but also half of Algeria was taken by France and added to Algeria as pieces of land from Tunisia, Libya, and Mali to create modern Algeria.
This topic has become even more complicated as Morocco is currently trying to end France's colonial control over the African continent and remove their influence from Africa. France and its former colony are trying to prevent this, but they are facing opposition from Morocco, which is supported by the United States and Israel.
Never heard of intl law + right of

At 6:27 the fresco is from Knossos palace, on the island of Crete in Greece. These are Minoans, not Phoenicians.
at 6:32 you posted a painting that has nothing to do with Mauretania. It's a 17th century painting that depicts one of the kings of the current ruling family. You could have used the mosaics in the old Mauretanian capital of Volubilis in Morocco, which would be more accurate

While there are phosphate mines in western Sahara the bulk of the Moroccan reserves exist on the northern part. As a Moroccan I can say that so far the region has been a burden on the taxpayer and not a benefit. Appreciate the effort but too many inaccuracies, like @6:19 you showed a "gnawa" person when talking about the amazigh, Gnawa add descendents of ex slaves that were brought from the songhai empire in modern mali when morocco conquered it in 1591, and just before you showed him you showed a "tuareg" , tuaregs live in Southern algeria, libya and parts of Northern Mali and Niger, not morocco.
And @6:32 you showed a painting of king abdelhafid of the current alaouite dynasty of morocco, dating back to the 1800s, while you were talking about the ancient state of moretanea, there are many remains from that era you should've used pictures of some coins or statues or atleast something relevant to what you're talking about, there are too many inaccuracies to count honestly, but I hope this will be a learning experience.
Also,Most of morocco is actually green or mountainous
