Your sons are so lucky, they will remember all of this for the rest of their lives long after we are gone from this world. You have given them a great foundation of this world.
I was thinking the same thing. When they’re older they are going to be so thankful that they got to see so much of the world with their parents. I didn’t travel out of country like them, but my mom was a single mom. My grandfather her dad always made sure we went on family vacations, and I’ll think fondly of them. Eventually my mom got her masters though, and she paid for the trips. My grandpa was the definition of a greatman. Fun fact is he was speaker of the house for Florida in the 70s. I hope he’s enjoying paradise with my grandmother. (T. Terrell Sessums)

As someone who lived in Morocco for the better part of 2020, I'd say this is pretty spot on! I really enjoyed watching this. I miss Morocco so much and can't wait to get back. Also, I like to WesternUnion myself money to the next country I'm traveling to. The exchange rate is usually pretty decent, they're are everywhere and you can get a larger sum of money to avoid all the ATM fees. And if you want to really enhance your medina experience, learning a bit of Darija (Moroccan Arabic) never hurts!
Thank you and that is an awesome way to beat exchange rates with Western Union. I am going to have to use that. Cheers!
Hey Terry! Happy you're doing great. I'm also glad the flame of Morocco is still burning in your heart. Hope to see you again here.

We enjoyed your journey here in Morocco via your vlogs.
I went to Morocco about 35 years ago as a teenager with my mom and older sister. First week was a guided bus tour through Marrakesh, Rabat, Meknes, and Fez from what I remember. Week two was spent in Agadir at the beach. Definitely culture shock to an American teenager who hadn't much travel experience. Cous cous was at what seemed like every meal. Mint tea was delicious, but my favorite was the fresh baked petit rolls. All the things you said are exactly true. Especially about the people being friendly and laid back. My niece lived there for a couple years without incident, teaching English maybe five years ago.
you are welcomed to come back here to see the big change that happened in the country, cheers
The country has changed since 35 years. It may be a different experience if you go back. And the cuisine options have definitely expanded since.
@ale. jandro I hope you enjoy it again when you go back! Especially because morocco is launching projects that will modernize the country in the upcoming decade!
🤙🤙🤙🤙
Hopefully you get to visit it one more time.
This is so informative and easy to follow..you covered everything straight to the point!thank you
Thank you. This was very informative!👍🏽❤️
WOW, great video!! You covered so much, thank you soooo much! Much love xo
Missed watching your vids. So happy I came across one again
Great video Aaron! one of my favorite places is Tinghir. It's a small town with a long valley with lovely Lush palm trees and people.
Gotta travel somewhere? Wolters World. Thanks man, once again!
Great tips! Thank you!
Always good to know some basic words of any country's primary language(s). It is very much appeciated that you show you are making an effort.
I can teach you some basic words in of Tamazight and Arabic language that you will actually need if you come to Morocco 🤝🤝
Great advice, thank you
Thank you. Useful and up-to-date. My French is adequate, but Arabic basic and rusty, and I've only heard the Darija widely used in Morocco on youtube. Hope to take the trip planned for March 2020 in March 2022.
it is amazing
i hope that you spent a good journey with your family

Thank you for your honest feedback, unlike other tourists/vloggers, you did your homework before talking about Morocco, which is amazing, I appreciate it.

If you're going alone, try focusing on big cities that have many tourists and also police of tourists. The best suggestions are: Rabat, Salé, Marakkesh, Agadir, northen cities and saharian cities. And avoid walking in small and empty neighborhoods.
Thank you so much!
just saw your video... congrats... pretty good thanks
Morocco is a very nice country to visit, don't be afraid at all we treat tourists in a very good way we have all the cultures here in Morocco.... for the language is very easy to communicate we speak French, English, Spanish, German..... and you will never forget the Moroccan food and the weather.... you will make a lot of friends.... ❤❤❤
Question: Is Morocco safe for solo travelers?
@@andrewnguyen6644 well like every country of course you have to pay attention, but generally it's safe, for example Marrakech it's a touristic city so they are used to meet tourists and live with them. Fes also, Tanger ...... 😊
Thanks for the info! How’s the covid situation over there right now? And any restrictions?
@@andrewnguyen6644 the situation now is okay, we still have lock down until 23:00, we are from the first countries that we have a big number of people doing vaccin.... everything is available....

I'm going to Morocco in July and this has been so helpful. I have a friend in Casablanca so he can do the haggling for me. I'm not a haggler. Thank you for this video. You have answered most of my questions. 😁
Nice!! Same here. Just going for 5 days though. After watching all these Morocco videos, I’m wishing I could stay longer. That is awesome you have a local friend. That’s really gonna help. Wish I knew someone there. 5 days in Casablanca, 5 days in Addis Abeba Ethiopia and 1 week in Mombasa Kenya.
@@AgeelShatry there are hotels with guides they can guide u in every city u go.. if planing to come to Agadir city i will show everything in the city and i will teach u how to surf some waves
One of the best beachy cities in Morocco is "Agadir", it has a large coastline and beautiful - sometimes really big somtimes small ones - waves, amazing for surfers and watersports enthusiasts, I do recommend it, enjoy your trip 😀

Hi, Mark! What month did you come in Morocco when you filmed this vlog? I noticed that the weather was gloomy and the sun rarely shown in most of the footage. Thank you!
What's the name of the pastry you recommend? Thanks!
P.S. Had Locros de Papa when I was in Ecuador, because of your recommendation, and LOVED IT
I'll have to try some gray wine.
Hi,thank you so much for the video,it's such a wonderful and fantastic journey through the streets of Morocco, thanks for the quality of the video, just want to know if you need a PCR test again when you leave Morocco ? I would really appreciat!
It always depends on the airline and the destination. Leaving tomorrow and I have received 7 changes in schedule and Covid test notifications in the last 2 weeks!!!
Morocco did an AMAZING job during Covid!! From day one! Buy keep checking what their rules are. Both coming and going!!

So what's your opinion about moroccan poeple?
@@abdoeducate3376 Everyone I met was wonderful to me. Welcoming and cooking the most delicious meals! People were kind, good humored, hard working and very clean habits. The clothing is beautiful and ornate. I like “zwack” lots of adornments on fabric. 💖
@@lindazehnbauer5406how did you deal with seeing the animal cruelty may I ask? It’s hard for me to forget it
as a Moroccan I can confirm what you said about us refusing being photographed. Yeah. we don't like it when a tourist tries to take you a picture. It's fully understandable that it's normal in their countries may be, but in Morocco it's not. Other than this, we are friendly and welcoming.
I love your information, and hope to go to Morocco some day!

@@woltersworld In addition to what you said, the Sahara tour from Marrakesh is either 3 or 4 days - I did the 3 day 2 nights one staying in Dades and in a bedouin tent after the camel ride from Merzouga onto the steepest sand dunes Erg Chebbi.
While staying in Marrakesh, there are many places to see in the city (gardens, palaces, medina, souks, mosques) and you can do day trips from there to Agadir (looks like Costa Del Sol), spectacular Ouzoud Waterfalls, and to Imlil National Park viewing Mount Toubkal in the Atlas Mountains
Hey guys, you are more than welcome in my home country Morocco, i hope u come and visit one day.
We definitely want to visit Morocco someday!
Asalam alaykum I'd love to come, InshAllah
@@SarahandMarek we hope that you welcome
If we visit, can we leave with our heads? How common are the beheadings?
@@CAARaeed Morocco is one of the safest countries in Africa, you have to know that in more than 11 years only 2 terrorist attacks with 19 deaths I know that these are people and not numbers but compared to other countries Morocco is way safer than many other countries including european ones, and the incident you are talking about was performed by ISIS members and does NOT reflect Moroccan people at all.
Another great video, y'all 😀 I appreciate the good information. I have been wanting to visit Morocco for a long time. Hopefully, in the next few years 🤞
Same here!! I really wanted to go In 2020 but of course, it didn’t happen 😅
Top thanks 🇲🇦👍👍
We loved it in Marrakech, we just made a video of our time there
You've gotten your letters of transit from Casa Blanca to Portugal? Were they in Sam's piano?
I'm thinking of this place for my next travel, I did Holland for 10 days just now and visited Antwerp for a few hours, but next time something a little more off trail. Amsterdam I had no problems or issues ever by the way, I felt incredibly safe and Purmerend Overwhere is where I resided those 10 days, nice little quiant town
Seeing all these travel videos so frequently makes me wonder exactly HOW MUCH travel backlog Mark & Co. has? 🤔😂😜👍🏽

This really helped with my concerns regarding a trip to Morocco as I've heard stories from female friends on difficulties they've encountered while visiting here. That mint tea is amazing! I had some at a middle-eastern restaurant in Paris and it is nothing like any tea I've had before.

So great to hear most people won't need a visa 😄 such useful information in this video! Thanks again Mark!
No problem. It was really the most common question I received about visiting Morocco
You are free welcomed to our benevolent county 🇲🇦
I've lived in a few places and Morocco is definitely the most difficult. I have been living here five years. If you hate animals and love chaos then this is the place for you, otherwise l would recommend that you only visit briefly and mainly for the beautiful nature. If you come to meet genuinely pleasant people then you will probably be somewhat dissapppinted.
This is how I feel

Just as a heads up I do speak Arabic not fluently but I speak it enough to know what I'm talking about when it comes to saying this. If you speak Modern Standard Arabic, Egyptian Arabic, Lebanese Arabic, or Jordanian Arabic the locals are going to understand you however good look on understanding the locals. I have a Moroccan friend that I talk to and we'll start talking in Arabic when we are around her family and friends but when they start speaking Moroccan Arabic due to the Berber influence good luck on understanding what they're going to say. Again ninety-nine percent of the time they're going to get what you're saying but good luck on understanding what they are saying because Moroccan Arabic is a whole different world
I live in morroco :)
