▸ We found it easier (and cheaper) to buy the tickets at the bus station rather than online since the website is only in French and a printed copy was needed plus we could get multiple tickets for different parts of our trip all at one go in person.
▸ There is a small fee for each big luggage that you'll need a bag tag for (small bags can go on the shelf above your seat don't need tags). You get these on the day you "check in" for your bus.
▸ The seats are allocated seating and it's best to try get your tickets at least a few days in advance in case they sell out.
📱 ADDITIONAL SIM TOP UP INFO 📱
▸ For Maroc, if your USSD doesn't allow you to check your remaining data, you can send a text to 580 to get the info. Text anything eg. "data" to 580 and you'll receive a text back about your credit. ▸ Use Google translate to understand the message if you can't read French (like us)! This text option will cost 1dh (vs USSD which would be free but we found it never worked).
▸ If using the scratchie top up option for Maroc internet data, text the code to: 555*3
▸ If you run into connectivity issues with Maroc like we did initially (where only social media apps and WhatsApp would work), check your phone's settings under "Access Point Names" (APNs) and make sure it's set on "Internet Mobile".

I know we have missed some Morocco's videos from your travels, but I had to watch this. I went to Morocco as a child as my mother used to go there for work, but haven't visited as an adult and I can't wait to go back.
Spain is highly influenced by Moroccan food and architecture (and language). Seeing the food footage just reminds me of some of the dishes from Spain.
BTW, I am in love with the yellow outfit that Yen is wearing while in the blue boats.
Wonderful tips here guys. Especially for the possible issues with taxis.
Yen bought that outfit from Ait Benhadou 😁 makes it that extra bit more special. O cool Morocco must have been really cool to explore when you were a child. I imagine a lot less tourists then there are now. The country feels like a great place for adventure lovers ❤️

@PeterandYen I'd love to experience Morocco 🇲🇦. As a football fan, I'd enjoy a football game there as Moroccans are passionate about their football, and the Moroccan men's team did so well in Qatar, and their women's team made history too. Morocco is definitely on my bucket list 😊
We heard that the games there are electric. One of my friends last night told a story about how they saw an AC milan game and the crowd was so rowdy that the whole stadium felt liked it was shaking after they scored a goal 😂

Great video to end the series. The points about negotiation and the tourist pricing were good to make. I used to be okay with that but now I find having to be weary about every transaction or interaction just tiring.

Yep Morocco is safe just make your back bag on your chest in the crowded souks. Second thing barging, haggling is the national sport in Morocco so try to negotiate every price in the old souks without shame. Also you can see some beggars 70 % of them are pro they can earn more than a bank manager per month. but if you feel tired hot or you look for some chillout go to the city of the wind Essaouira city or Assillah city or Warzazet city. It's so easy to rent a car too like 40 dollars a day. for information the nord of Morocco is a little cold in janury. In general Morocco is good for travel, rich of culture and safe. Life is not easier like in europe but he do the best of he can, the most civilised city in Morocco for now is Tanger city. Good trip just enjoy every moment 🙂. About tips : sneaks charmer and dancers : 2 dollars. Henee tatoe : 5 to 7 dollars. camel ride in beach : like 6 dollars

It's a great difference between people, living in marocco and the maroc people, living in the netherlands. In this country the have the name mocro-maffia. The people in morocco who i know are very nice and friendly people.

Very good informative videos. We are planning a 14 day trip in October, still wondering if take the trains, bus and tours are better or renting a car is better? Where will we park the rental car if we stay at a riad in the Medina?
Most medinas have a paid public carpark outside of the medina and you'll need to walk to your accomodation.
Cars will give you greater flexibility to see the sights along the way as you travel through the Atlas mountains etc but comes with the stress of finding those parking places and city driving is quite chaotic.
We found train and bus very efficient and once you're in the cities/ towns there are plentiful taxis as long as you're happy to negotiate if you want a fair price.
@@PeterandYen I think we'll take the train between major cities and bus when train isn't an option. Plus some trips via GetYourGuide for sights and transportation per your suggestion. Thanks again for your help 🙏
@@Eric-mc1vm first of all welcome to our beautiful country morocco as moroccan i will try to give u some advices if u have big budget i recommend car because petrol in morocco it s little expensive between 13 and 15 dollars s L renting between 30 and 50 dollars for one day the car will help u to discover more places for exemple if u choose come to fez the oldest city in morocco the heart of the country u can travel around it like ifran mouzar sefrou small cities with beautiful nature also marakech around it there s oukimden ... With bus or train its hard to see all this small cities but if u need only to discover the big cities it s better with train and secondly with bus any way if u need any help i will try to give u all the informations u need it s for free im not living in morocco
@@houtianas1596 We are planning to start from Tangier and train to Rabat then Marrakech. Either take a day trip to Essaouira or go by bus and stay there for a few days to do some wing foiling lessons, back to Marrakech then take a guided tour to Fez since that is a very complex city to explore ourselves. Bus or tour to Chefchaouen then back to Tangier. Or we should go by bus from Tangier to Chefchaouen, Fes, Rabat, then train to Marrakech and back to Tangier at the end? Logistically speaking does it make any difference?
@@Eric-mc1vm the difference would be that you can take the high-speed train from tangier to rabat in 1h20min saving more time. ( if you buy the tickets earlier now it would cost 89dh instead of 172dh/ person.). I think its better to start your journey from tangier- chefchaoun- fez ect. since its closer and then comeback to tangier in the high-speed train from Casablanca. going back from Marrakesh to fez would be exhausting it would take around 7 hours in train or bus. i live in rabat if you need more advice let me know.

Well, you should always avoid hustlers, people who push you to buy something or stuff like that...
But bargaining, it is part of our culture, it is a way to chat and exchange and in the same time a way to prove dominance between customer and the seller, but 90% of the time it may same aggressive (that's our way of talking and communicating) but it is in no way dangerous.
Sometimes if you manage to bargain for a lower price, out of kindness, think about giving a little bit more, those people don't make a lot of money so it would be helpful. 😊

I don't agree with their recommendation regarding this point. You can exchange money literally everywhere in legal currency exchange shops and the rate is constant and way better than ATMs.

Social factor is extremely repelling.
It's almost like there was a culture who built these places, then some other culture took over.
Maybe the touristic cities you have visited are predominant Darija and French speaking, but in reality we speak Tamazight the most all over Northern Africa. It's not true that people speak Arabic nor French the most. It's a stereotype yes, but in fact young people nowadays speak English more than French and in the North we speak Spanish as the second language. And there is no Arabic in daily life speaking, it's Darija a kind of lingua franca which people speak in urban areas.

Moroccan here and i can tell you not really there is no real risk of getting any disease ,just be careful the temprature is hella high in marrakesh 😅

The Moroccan dynasty I love it extensively and ultimately and the World Cup 2030 hopefully going be one of great event in history to see. I visited China just like before Covid-19, it was an awesome experience and I’ve been unfortunately, ripped off couple of times, once in Beijing subway(picked-pocket me-stole my wallet with cash-money and bank cards and Driver license card as well got me all dry😅) and another one taking cab-driver charged me a lot I mean a lot^_^! But anyway, that’s how things are, just like the same pros and cons everybody going to experience in Morocco or else where, as well but not as bad as many may go through even in developed countries, eventually,..

Morocco is not for an introvert ! There's no price tag on everything constant negotiating is exhausting ! I got same experience in Eygpt and it sucks

Scammers u can find them everywhere still it's not a real reason to hold you off from visiting some countries like Morocco.. Just take ur precautions

Just avoid 2 cities Marrakesh and Fez..they are the whole country
