I think that because most other dialects are Arabic with changes from the native language (not all tho), Coptic in the case of Egypt for example, but the Moroccan dialect is influenced a lot by Berber(which itself is still alive and not dead like Coptic) and also by French and a little Spanish.
I can understand the Moroccan dialect if the speaker is talking slowly, and if not we can still use MSA.
      Love from مصر.

@Jeremy Petite difficulties spelling Arabic alphabets? What the fuck are you talking about? You know that Canaanites had phonemes that are equivalent to ح and ع the most difficult Arab letters to pronounce? So what is difficult to a Lebanese to pronounce? You know that old Arabic was similar to Canaan languages? And were intelligible? Did you know that the Roman emperor Philip the Arab was born in Syria? And called himself a fucking Arab? Way before Islam and what so called Arabization? Did you know that the Roman emperor Severus Septimus the founder of the Severan dynasty was Phoenician from North Africa and married to an Arab from Syria called Julia Domna and they spoke the same language aside from Latin which they spoke it bad according to Roman historians?. a Spoiled and gay dialect is a Beirut thing not applied to all Lebanon, dialects differ from one region to another in the same country, Arabic from Arabian peninsula have many different dialects, and what Berber has to do with the Darija? It's pure Arabic, please stick to your French gay language, and tell your people about Latinism and how the Romans forced their language on your weak ass ancestors.

MetaMeron 95 first of all no reason to fight y’all. Second of all yes I do hear ppl say that Lebanese has sum “gay” abt it! I did not say I agreed but ppl do say it! And just like the levant has been influenced by the natives who used to speak Aramaic etc. It darija influenced by amazigh!(natives) and ppl say they can’t understand us bc their lack of knowledge. We for example maybe use synonyms but they’re still arabic. If 1 person says it’s difficult everybody just goes w that and tells everyone is difficult without even trying! Darija is still arabic!! Periodt! Btw not here to fight. If you wanna react then react respectfully please!

And yes the most interesting fact about Morocco was that it was the first country in the world to recognize the U.S. as an independent nation, that part. I have a suggestion for you Mark. Do Kuwait next! And BTW, I’m from Kuwait, but I was born in the U.S., and then I grew up and live my entire life in Kuwait so I’m an American-born Kuwaiti. 🇲🇦❤️🇰🇼

Another fun fact: the popular Ottoman red Hat with black tassel "Fez" ( Fes in Turkish ) is originated from The Moroccan city of Fez, the Sultan Mahmut II chose it as the reformation movement's official headdress for the government officials , army, navy, scholars and general society in 1829 , it was worn by all ottomans of different faiths and backgrounds and became part of their identity (Levant , Egypt, sudan, some Balkan nations)

the accent is very different too, I mean countries have regional differences, but it's inside Libya that you can see the split between Maghreb accents, and eastern Accents, not to mention the south Dialects and languages.

But as a moroccan I have some observations:
    1. We're not arabs
    2. Darija is a language by itself and not a dialect
    3. Non-religious (atheists) are the largest minority by far in the Kingdom

Considering yourself an arab doesn't mean that you're one.
I'm not the one who decides that, reality, historical facts and anthropology confirms what I'm saying.
Every moroccan I know and heard about who's carried a DNA test was faced by the FACTS: WE ARE NOT ARABS, WE'VE NEVER BEEN AND WE'LL NEVER BE.
Now you go to your identityless wannabe fake arab friends and tell them to carry a dna test and wait for their answer lol
