      So a presidential candidate should say one thing, then possibly say another. (ex Hillary says 'I'm tough on wallstreet'. But there's some evidence that she gave “glowing” and “rah-rah,” speeches to the banks.) Just so she could beat trump, IF she can beat sanders. .... Why not just vote for sanders then, who isn't taking money from the banks?
      Saying a politician should keep a secrete from the public because an opponent might use it against them is a very sad excuse for that candidate. If I say that I'm 155 years old, you might ask to see my drivers license. What if i told you. I wont show my license untill everyone else shows theres, in the mean time I'll continue to say that I'm 155 years old. I have proof that could settle this issue. But I just dont want to show it. Possible because I'm lying? Hiding the things Hillary has said and done, so that she's in a better position to beat trump, I think is a pathetic way to play politics. Why not just vote for the candidate that can prove they lie the least? And imagine if Trump hid a speech that he gave to a white nationalist group so that he could try to beat his opponents. Politics isn't about who can keep lies the best.....right?

    • @blackout07blue
      @blackout07blue Před 8 lety

      +monokhem No, all reports from behind the scenes from those speeches say that she sounded like she worked for the bank. They're said to be very damning. So damning it would cost her the primary vs Sanders they think.

    • @sofiasstreams3032
      @sofiasstreams3032 Před 8 lety +3

      +The ChillyWinds The main issue is not bill, but the media blackout upon Bernie. Bill Maher has given Bernie is fair share of media, but it seems like someone told Bill to calm down with the Bern a bit.. You can clearly see at 9:13 where the conversation prior is about who should be the VP nominee for hilllary. As if the primary is already over, its an overarching theme that ran out of gas months ago. at 9:14 is when the Bernie supporter shouts and Bill points up with his Finger. The most important part of this comment is that deep down Bill wants Bernie to win the nomination but he ALSO wants people to understand that if bernie is not the nominee (for whatever unfortunate reason) , we need to rally around Clinton. We as an american people can't let it reach a trump apex in the primaries. The democratic party will acknowledge HIllary Clinton's poor electabllity in the primary, I am sure of it, thus handing Bernie the true and rightful nomination. The media will propagate Disgusting acts at trump rallies, but HIDE Bernie Sanders as a whole. My last 3 points, Thank you bill maher for ending the episode with a bernie talking point. 2nd, thanks (sarcastically) for telling some media poller that no one gives a fuck about land lines nowadays. and 3, if you want to see the Accurate internet polls, A poll that predicted Bernie would win Michigan go to www.forthehumans.com

And, just a tidbit-so did every other Secretary of State up until the current one, John Kerry. Why? Because the rules changed in 2014, after Clinton left office, and now it’s required to use a federal system. If Kerry used a personal account, he would be violating a regulation. Clinton did not." www.newsweek.com/hillary-clinton-emailgate-312784

      Kristol is mad Donald Trump is wrecking his club of elitist neocon pals. Notice in the episode he gets a little uncomfortable when Maria Konnikova talks about missing money in the Pentagon budget, and all of the countless other spots of wastes in government setup by his crony pals that TRUMP is pledging to end. Kristol knows Hillary is in the club, but doesn't want to admit he'd support her any day over TRUMP.
      Wake up people, these people, neocons, democrats, and others are destroying our economy and hollowing our middle class. TRUMPs policies are not about race and the VAST majority of his supporters are not motivated by race, and he's repeatedly disavowed any hate groups.
      The liberal guy on left is brainless and can't comprehend that people who support TRUMP are not racists, but motivated by many of the causes that he probably champions (trade, jobs, infrastructure, the economy, local education), same goes to Bill Maher. It is ignorant to say illegal labor, and the benefits given to people here illegally are not having a drain on our economy, especially when the figures put them at anywhere from 4 to 10% of our population. TRUMP doesn't just advocate building a wall and deportation, but also cracking down on VISA programs that are easily exploited by people from all over the world.
      WE LOVE IMMIGRANTS WHO COME HERE LEGALLY. The current system is broken and needs to be overhauled and TRUMP promises to do this.
      TRUMP promises to clean house and root out bureaucracy and cronyism throughout the government. He has undesirable qualities, sure, but Politicians have got us nowhere for my entire life, and worst case, we can kick him out in 4 years. WE FINALLY HAVE A 3RD PARTY CANDIDATE NOT CONTROLLED BY THE ELITES.
      As a recent college graduate with a degree in chemical engineering, and SIX FIGURES in student loans, finding a job that pays a decent wage has been impossible for the past year and a half. Many of my friends with other STEM degrees are in the same boat. The unemployment figures ARE A LIE because the majority of those jobs are part-time or not well-paying; LABOR PARTICIPATION IS AT ALL TIME LOW. These jobs are not paying well because there is a GLUT of QUALIFIED WOKERS. The H1B visas and all are a LIE. There is NO SHORTAGE of STEM workers, but the power people at their conference in Georgia want to keep the flow of cheap labor, both legal, and illegal flowing into our economy, driving down wages for middle class americans.
      The psychoanalyst was entertaining, but come on, EVERY POLITICIAN and most successful people ARE PSYCHOPATHS. By her definitions, every one of them on the panel is also a PSYCHOPATH. PSYCHOPATHS often have the drive and persistence to be successful, and while some qualities are not healthy, most of them are harmless people who want the same things as everyone else.

      I'm not necessarily a Trump supporter but it's sad that people will dismiss all your eloquent points because you are.
      You're right, any idiot falling for Kristol's bull that he wouldn't support Hillary is a blind fool. The Neocon club is all on board and they haven't finished laying waste to this world and enriching themselves. I hate that people can't see that Hillary is a full fledged Neocon. If you follow her campaign, it's a typical Neocon media strategy, which is becoming harder to carry out because more people are informed.
      Trump is actually running a brilliant campaign, which can easily outclass anything Hillary can muster.
      Dems are just in a rock and a hard place. Deep down, they don't hate Trump but the forces around the GOP are people like Kristol and sorry to say, white nationalists who want to set us back to the 60s. People are done with that era and feel those voices, which brought us all the wars and social injustice, will have a forum with Trump.
      Hillary is the anti candidate but she is very dangerous and has not strayed away from her directive since entering politics. She only changes when it's politically destructive. But, they're hoping that Americans are too ignorant to understand the foreign and economic policy decisions we've embraced for over 40 years.

May God help whom ever gets in ...cause I'm OUTRAGED!!! Stick a fork in me,I'm done. I lived through Bilary already. She's the only First Lady that who's name has been linked to insider trading,malfeasance of all types, murder...(before she did the email thing). She has no good legislation she could stand on. They are actually openly questioning Roe V. Wade? thanks Hillary for looking out for me and my daughters.She is canned. She's fake. And Slick Willy back in the White House? There aren't enough blue dresses and thick bits of ass in Washington. By the way...I'm an American, tell me I can't do something/have something/say something/do something/be something/want something...you will be shown up,somehow someway, that is the American way.My question to you is, why are you buying her fake crap? Truth is truth.Don't settle. Sorry for the letter.

    BTW- Is there a difference between confidence and arrogance? If there is a difference, the line between them must razor thin.

    • @nonmagicmike723
      @nonmagicmike723 Před 8 lety

      Confidence can be defined as lack of complete absence of hesitation or second-guessing. It's when you do something without the least shred of hesitation, decisively, unapologetically, as if you completely knew your shit and are *confident* you're doing the right thing, whether it's true or not. Which is how Trump has been regarding his controversial stances (not backing down, telling it like it is with a sense of principled righteousness, etc.) And that kind of decisiveness and assertiveness is sexy to women in the same way -- to take Bill's example -- tits are sexy to men.

    • @0lAllan
      @0lAllan Před 8 lety

      And arrogance? I mean, if confidence is an absence of hesitation, how is it different from arrogance? Or is there no difference between the two in essence? Are they synonyms, and if they are why are people attracted to confidence but repulsed by arrogance? I've pondered this at length throughout my life and the only distinction I can glean is confidence comes from knowledge, experience, and awareness so that the object of confidence is assured. Arrogance is confidence without one of those three predicates so the object of confidence is unsure. Or confidence is something people have in relation to a thing which entails assuredness but is not a quality of a person. Whereas arrogance is a quality of a person, a confidence without basis and is thereby unassured. But as the great philosopher, Socrates said "I don't know". Boobs are unappealing to me, I'm more of a muff man.

    • @nonmagicmike723
      @nonmagicmike723 Před 8 lety

      0lAllan -- Arrogance is exaggerated or irrational confidence in one's abilities or importance. It's also disliked because it usually entails putting other people down, or behaving/talking as if you're above them (or the beneath you). So yes, in a sense, arrogance does include confidence, but the opposite is not necessarily true.
      Most men dislike or are repulsed by another man's arrogance because they find it demeaning. And although women do find it demeaning and dislikeable on a rational level, they can still find it (sexually) attractive just like regular confidence. Though the type of arrogance they prefer and that is more socially acceptable is the playful or humorous one, like the one Martin Short does. That's why "the players" like to use it also when they flirt with women to build up sexual tension.
      I've never heard a man say he's a muff man. Most men, myself included, are more aroused and delight more in the sight of boobs and ass than by the raw sight of pussy. Most men like muff, but simply to put it in or lick it.

      +Jason Menayan The Republicans don't "love her" at the moment because she's a threat to their aim to take the White House; they didn't "love her" as Secretary of State because she was working for Obama whom they'd irrationally demonized for political reasons. But when she was Senator, Republicans loved her, and for good reason. If you examine her record you'd see that on foreign policy, trade, health care, criminal justice, energy and Wall Street, she's a conservative.

    My CZcams Story
    I started out on CZcams as a little kid, about 6 years old. At the time, I had no idea what CZcams was, pretty much. I made my own little "vine" videos and videos on Talking Tom 2, a popular game at the time. I only knew that I wanted to be recognized and I wanted to entertain people around the world.
    Of course, at that time I was just a dumb little kid, not knowing that 4 subscribers was not the whole world. I called myself "world famous" although there were youtubers who had over a million subscribers, and I think that was the world record back then. I then started getting into video games and I played them every day and every night. I couldn't stop playing games. They were everywhere. I looked to the right. There was my computer! On the left, hey my phone is done charging! I then knew, at that moment, I wanted to be a gamer.
    I didn't know anything about gaming on youtube, especially that it was about 50 times harder than making videos of me falling on the ground and recording my voice with Talking Tom. My first recording of video games was on Work at a Pizza Place on roblox.com and I was so happy when I got about 50 views. I knew it could only get better. It only got harder though.
    As time passed, I played more games, recorded more videos, got about 15 subscribers, then 20, then 30, then 40, then a friend on Roblox talked to me and told me about a recording software he used, called Screencast-O-Matic, I tried it, and it had a watermark and a logo on the bottom. I didn't really like it until I got the pro version.
    Before I got the pro version, a few days earlier, I made the stupidest decision of my whole youtube career and I used one of those subscriber apps that give you hundreds of subscribers that do nothing at all. I only got about 20 from that, (thank god) and I decided I wanted legitimate subscribers. I then did a giveaway for 1,000 robux and the winner of the raffle was PartyA123 and he got the 1,000 robux as promised. I then started a 2,000 robux giveaway for 500 subscribers, which I later cancelled due to hate.
    I used the pro version recorder, it was good, so I kept with it. I had about 200 subscribers by then, and I was recording every 2 days. I then put it down to every day except 2 days a week, down to every day, then down to 1 a day, and a few extras weekly. I now record every day and I couldn't be happier. I hope I can pursue my dream of becoming an amazing youtuber with the help of Freedom! and I will make sure I work hard and never slack, and always shoot for the stars and do my best.
