Man, the 90s had the coolest phones. 😎
So many memories of playing Perfection as a kid!
Super fun times!
Oh yea... great times. Like the time I was playing it with my cousin in the living room one holiday and my stepdad (at the time) got annoyed by the sound of it and kicked it across the room.
RIP to Toys R Us.
ALF: "Commercial alert! Push pause now!"
It's a good thing that at least one person didn't listen to Alf or we wouldn't be seeing this here today!
The Coke commercial at 4:22 was always heart warming to see. Then later you'd wonder if the people who put up the big tree noticed the old fruit cake in the dirt and wondered why it was there. Also its funny how there's a Toys R Us commercial about not wanting to grow up, followed by a milk commercial where growing up is preferable. lol
Football phone was dope. 1 of the only gimmicky items I remember actually working like you expected. It was a solid phone.
commercials from good old ct love it , i remember alot of these commercials too .
The Toys R Us commercial. Oh my heart.
That football phone looked very Nice.
The Do The Bartman video was definitely a highlight of The Simpsons second season! I watched it live on WNYW!
Hell yea! Same here! Bushwick Brooklyn NYC Highlights!!!💯💯💯💯
*Fun Fact* The voice over announcer on the Domino's Commercial Is none other than the great Rob Paulsen. The man who voiced Yacko Warner,Raphael and Donatello, Snow Job" and Tripwire, and Pinky,
Devon Lott don’t forget about Mighty Max!
Child World was Children's Palace in my neck of the woods. I remember those same jingles except "Child World... Child World" was sung as "Children's... Palace!"
When I read that was Art Carney in Christmas Coca Cola commercial on your descriptions. I like whoa because I loved this commercial when I was a kid.
La Cucaracha is one of my favorite episodes of Alf.
I miss Dave Thomas RIP.
Pretty sure that’s Hilary Bailey Smith (Nora from One Life To Live) in that Vick’s commercial.
I think it's awesome that Alf Clausen did the music for Alf.
I got the Simpsons album that Christmas with my very 1st CD player! Oh memories
it's strange to realize that I was probably watching this same station on this same night.
90'S CHRISTMAS COMMERCIALS!!!! Oh my god I've NEVER clicked on a video so fast...Absolutely epic.
What a simply EPIC collection here! We got Bartman, some pretty funny ads starring the late great Dave Thomas, founder of Wendy's, RIP, The absolutely _classic_ Coke commercial, warms my heart just to see that, an awesome Toys R Us commercial complete with dancing Ninja Turtles, hello, that's amazing. And those milk ads were pretty great too. Bravo!!
Do the Bartman! Everybody if ya can do the Bartman/Shake your body turn it out if you can, man!
I was a little disappointed to find out the music video was not in this recording, but still great to see the promos! Think I'll go have a look at that right now...Later, dudes!!
That big shots thing looks awesome
The football phone commercial has to be the most ridiculous thing I've seen.
This time period of 1989-1990 just went by too fast. It often gets lost in the shuffle of all the '80s and '90s nostalgia in pop culture.
89-91 was like its own mini decade
I wanted that football phone too... i hated sports.
5:23 PROTECT YOUR CEREAL!!!!
Fester Quest was the only game I think based the 60's Addams Family tv show.
That was Hard AF on NES
3:29 GASP 23-19! WE HAVE A 23-19!! (Men in yellow hazmat suits come out of nowhere and tackle her)
The football phone is kinda awful.
We had one, it was!
Perfection-loved that game
GI Joe General-this vehicle was seen in one or two episodes of the(awful) DIC-produced season
Coca Cola-Thank you,Don Draper for inspiring the original ad lol
Do The Bartman-R.I.P Michael Jackson(song's writer)
Wendy's-Dave's Deluxe was a good burger IMO
Against The Law-they mustve realized that he is a lawyer
Babes-R.I.P to Susan Peretz and Wendi Jo Spurber, both of whom died from breast cancer :(
show's intro here czcams.com/video/7ssgOyL0JLM/video.html
Michael Jackson didn't write "Do The Bartman", though he did sing on the backing vocals: www.factmag.com/2015/07/22/the-simpsons-do-the-bartman-michael-jackson-bryan-loren/
11:23 All the information I can find says "Do the bartman" first aired November 20, 1990
That was when the "Do The Bartman" single was released, not when this episode ("Bart The Daredevil") aired. BTW, the date that you list was a Tuesday. The Simpsons aired on Thursday nights during its second season.
In the future, why don't you leave the detective work to me? I actually put a lot of work into making sure this info is correct.
"It wasn't an episode but the music video immediately aired after "Bart the Daredevil" on December 6, 1990 episode 21, season two" Here we go... Figured it out.
Are the rest of these from that day or are they curated commercials from other tapes?
All of the stuff after the tape edit at 9:40 is from 12/6/90...I note that in the description. The stuff before that also could have been recorded on that date, but I can't verify when they're from.
80sCommercialVault I’m so sorry you have to deal with wanna be know it alls here.
Seeing NES games still in their cardboard boxes is indeed special. As someone who collects games for the NES and SNES, I try to buy them complete in box when I can. In fact, I just received a complete in box Fester's Quest a few days ago in the mail. Unfortunately, it's getting quite pricey to buy games in their original packaging (especially if you want good condition), but it's usually always worth it. I love the old instruction manuals, maps and posters that used to come with games.
