  • These commercials aired on FOX on September 27th, 1992
    1. Promo for "Catwalk" (Partial. This was a show of Canadian origin and Neve Campbell's first major TV role. The first season aired here in syndication and the second aired on MTV)

    4. The Gap (With Max Blagg)

    7. Promo for "Woops!" (This was a post apocalyptic themed sitcom that lasted for only 10 episodes)

    9. 1993 Toyota Corolla
    10. Domino's Pizza
    11. Energizer
    12. Promo for "Woops!" (Isn't "Whoops" the more common spelling?)

    14. Miller High Life
    15. The Gap (Shorter version of the same ad)
    16. Ocean Spray Ruby Red

    28. Sega (...Until I saw this)
    29. e.p.t. Pregnancy Test
    30. Promo for "Woops!" (I wholeheartedly approve of any giant spiders in movies/TV shows but this show is not deserving of any praise)

I remember those old GAP commercials trying to be hip with the beat poetry. Good memories.

This was at the time I was watching FOX Sunday Night before going to bed at 10pm at 7 years old. "Flying Blind" was a great show that should have lasted more seasons than one. Introduced me to Tea Leoni before she did another sitcom "The Naked Truth" and did films like "Bad Boys" (1995) and "Deep Impact" (1998). Also, had the theme song, "A Million Miles Away" by David Byrne from "Talking Heads". "Woops!" was just a lame post-apocalypse sitcom that was trying to be the "Gilligan's Island" for the 90s. No wonder it failed after 10 episodes, it was totally unfunny! I also watch "The Ben Stiller Show", "Parker Lewis Can't Lose" and "Shaky Ground" with Matt Frewer and Jennifer Love Hewitt (Before "Party of Five"). As well as "Herman's Head" and "Married... With Children".
The TV Series, "Catwalk" was on another station that I didn't watch very often and Neve Campbell (also before "Party of Five") was in it!

5:21 I LOVED this AT&T campaign! The song "Calling You" by Jevetta Steele was perfect.

That AT&T commercial with the old man made me sad for some reason; it might be because my Grandpa is gone and he loved his garden and planting tomatoes.

Those Sega commercials may seem dated now, but at the time, they really did seem like a brilliant way to separate itself from Nintendo, and the campaign worked. Just about every friend I had went with Genesis over Super Nintendo, at least at first. Most of them (including myself) wound up getting both as Nintendo's 16-bit library became too good to ignore. But for one fleeting moment, Sega really did a great job of blocking Nintendo's strangle hold.
    Also...
15:58 - Classic episode, though I personally prefer the Planet of the Apes Musical from a later season to the Streetcar! musical. Still great stuff, and a controversial episode for its time, as it wound up angering the people of New Orleans due to a song in the episode.

Ah, those pre-Toy Story Pixar commercials. They really showed how much character they could pull out of normally inanimate objects like Listerine Bottles.

WFTS!!!!! As you all know I grew up with the New York stations but I'm now down here with those Tampa stations which all flipped by the end of 1994 - WFTS became ABC with that affiliate swap, and Fox went to WTVT (the former CBS), which went to the former ABC, WTSP. NBC stayed with WFLA.

Catwalk-i remember that show..when the second(and final) season aired on MTV they changed the line-up of the band
Herman's Head-show is noted for having two voice actors from The Simpsons as supporting cast members
Teen Spirit-little did they know that a musician named Kurt was probably watching this ad lol
Flying Blind-the tv version of the film She's Out Of My League(shows theme song was done by David Byrne)
SEGA Genesis-featuring voiceover narration by Taz the Tasmanian Devil
Woops-Gilligan's Island meets The Day After
Highlander the Series-loved the first two seasons

The back story about Kurt Cobain and the song "Smells Like Teen Spirit" had something to do with a female musician friend of his making a dig about him smelling like his girlfriend's deodorant and he really didn't have a clue that it was a hygiene product...that's a story I read about it years ago.
