    Pet insurance comes to mind for scams. Beside being forced to use an approved vet, which may or not be the closest one to you. I swear I never seen someone get successful claim. They're happy to take our money, but when it comes to pay up they'll find the smallest of reason to deny you. It's better just to put what you would of paid in a saving account and use it whenever your pet does need to see the doctor.

    The story about the internet usage seems to be conflating quite a few things with each other. For instance, he says he would pay a fee for add free internet. He already does he pays his internet provider for that. Each individual website has nothing to do with the internet providers themselves. So you would have to pay every individual websites for a ad Free service. Or those websites would be getting no money without the ads. That is why advertising is so prevalent on the internet. If every website you went to got their money from a subscription, we would all be going on a lot less websites. This does not mean I am in favor of ads on the internet. I'm just saying his solution of paying a fee to have ad free internet means nothing. Who are you paying this fee to?

      Video topic is "What's SECRETLY Just A GIANT SCAM?"
      Oh, 'College degrees that aren't STEM or medical.'? That's a groundbreaking revelation! Did you, by chance, attend a college that teaches the art of missing the point? It’s intriguing how this flies in the face of the sheer basics of life, not to mention the heaps of data from the U.S. Department of Education or Dept. of Labor. You know, the minor details you're perfectly allowed to research-if, of course, you know how to research. Being educated is an arduous journey, a perpetual one indeed. If only there were institutions dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of critical thinking and discerning fact from fiction. Oh wait, that's right-COLLEGE! If you didn't catch that, well, you might have missed more than just a few classes.
      Also, what are Lawyers to you? You fail into the trap soldiers do. They think the Military should run things. Objective thinking is Hard. However, limiting education is, to me, nearly always stupid! Exceptions apply.

I seem to be crushing it WITHOUT this STEM Degree. My work saves children around the world. My undergrad was Criminal Justice. College should teach you how to understanding multiple sets of information and walks of life. Failure to understand this led to people that can not understand why the world rejects them. You, and us all, should be good at more then one thing! Everyone! College should be mandated!

  • @KenshiImmortalWolf
    @KenshiImmortalWolf Před 12 dny +17

    so the money one, saying we used precious metals is kind of a misnomer, they became precious because we used them for trade and valued them, some places used limestone disks and certain rare shell types where also 'money' for a lot longer then even metals. The concept of a mutually accepted 'currency' is itself no more or less a scam now then it ever was.
    At one point aluminum was more valuable then gold because it was rarer then gold at the time, now it's so common we use it for cooking. SO anyone who tries to argue money is now a scam cause we don't back it in precious metals or something like that has no idea what money is. Agreeing that gold is valuable is just as valid as agreeing paper slips that denote federal currency is valuable. It only works if everyone agrees to it.

      Having anything to trade to the bank was the original point. The person could take their slip of paper back to the bank for their items - much like a pawn shop. And if all else failed, the bank could sell or trade those items. So technically they had something to trade - not just thin air. There was a physical product involved.
      Now banks are just corporations making money for themselves out of thin air.
      Money is a nice easy way to simplify trade. It works and I wouldn't call it a scam.

The US health care system is a mess but many other wealthy countries also have problems with theirs not to mention the US pays for almost all the military protection for the European countries where if they had to pay for that themselves then their healthcare would be even worse.

    • @deathmastersful
      @deathmastersful Před 11 dny +2

      A reason Healthcare insurance is so bad is because there is no over site due to these insurance companies lobbying politicians, working with these horrible pharma companies and taking advantage of people.
      Did you know the government subsidizes health insurances and they still overcharge people constantly. It’s to the point that doctors don’t try anymore because outside factors control the practice more than any hospital or group of doctors.
      Healthcare in America is so amazing is because the practice is trialed in America, tested and perfected enough that the risks are minimal. Other countries start it earlier, because they use version 1.2 while in america they don’t allow it to be released till atleast version 1.5

Use to be insurance company's fought over inflated bills. Now, they encourage it because they make more money on it. Think of it this way. 10% of $100 means they can charge $110 and make $10. But at $150 they now make $15. So they pay more so they can make more, vs fighting to keep costs down to help everyone. It back fired like all laws by all political parties.

    The fractional reserve ratio being 0% is better than you think. See, banks can now lend under a new monetary theory where loans are counted as both a liability and and asset.
    This makes the reserve requirement entirely superfluous. Under this theory, banks can not only print money, but they can also create a secondary asset which similarly prints money. Next, that asset can be used to print even more money. It's a circular loop. Lol.

    • @Keiji555
      @Keiji555 Před 12 dny

      Well, someone else who is speaking "honestly".
      It's really an old canard that people use to toss the baby with the bathwater. And the history isn't as disgusting and disgraceful as many would think.
      Now, if you want to speak ugly religious systems, take a look at Islam. That makes all the sins Catholicism has done look like My Little Pony. And don't get me started on Communism. (The Atheist version of it. I don't think we need to discuss Stalin or Mao.)
      I mean, people use the Canadian Residential schools as an old beatstick, without considering the entire story, and of all the groups the church was the lesser of all the evils presented. First off, the Natives sold each other, and were willing to take food from the mouths of their own children for drugs, and saving their own skin. Next, we have the women who essentially got the power of life and death over women and children for two provinces, and influence over that for the entire nation called the Famous Five, who loved the Syphilis project, and were Hitler fangirls, which were the government. Between the Eugenics Hitler fangirls, and the church, the church was the better choice.
      The church also worked to prevent Royals and Nobles to get too much out of control, in order to curb violent tendencies within them, and would drill some limitations in how they behaved, thinking there was a being far greater than them, in order to get them to behave. Situations like the Black Prince from England trying to genocide Spain and France got the ire of the Church to get involve and punish the King of England, putting him in line.
      And if you use the situation with Hernan Cortez, go take a look at what kind of nuts the Azteks were.
      Now, how about we get back to the "Religion of Peace". Care to discuss that?
