On the topic of not washing hands being fairly common, get this: people who don't wipe. Was at work when I walked into someone in the middle of duking it up. Not even 10 seconds after with no sounds of rolling toilet paper, he flushed and got out. I have so much to say about it, but I don't think CZcams would appreciate about the many ways I could describe how disgusting that is. 😂

I can sort of understand this for peeing, even as a woman, as it's just liquid. Not a good idea due to possibly getting things like yeast infections and just having a nasty odor. But not wiping after pooping? Not to be too gross, but there's a lot of practical reasons why that's a really, really bad idea.

I have very consistent and comfortably firm poo. Virtually never wet, offensive or messy. I wipe, essentially just to make sure that there won’t be a smear. I only take enough toilet paper from the roll to make one pass, as there is almost never a smear.
Under some scenario of extremus, I could go without wiping and be safe knowing that 99 times I didn’t need to anyhow, but man, that would be really living on a razor’s edge

The Japanese have long had a term for that: karoshi. It has gotten so ubiquitous that even Japanese conservatives want to do away with the insane number of hours people work. Why? Because attending their son's - sometimes _only_ son's - funeral was the eye-opener for them, especially if the son had not started a family yet, which is also a growing trend in Japan. They are starting to recognize that "business as usual" is destroying families in every sense and that it should stop.
What is ironic, though, is that their idea for a better work life is to emulate the American one. In fairness, Japan does arguably more business with the US than they do with any other nation (or at least any western nation), so they are bound to be more familiar with the American work life - what is marketed as the American work life, that is. So now you have Japan starting to want the idealized American work life while America continues to push towards the current Japanese work life.
It really is a sick reality we live in.

Story 3 what I’ve noticed going on about people is that more people see the traits of being Autistic and then self diagnose themselves. I’ve had to explain that to someone who already sees a psychiatrist that and they didn’t understand how I could tell even though I’ve been around people with both high functioning and low functioning autism. They did talk to their psychiatrist and the psychiatrist said the same thing. The moral of the story is don’t self diagnose yourself just because you think you have similar traits as someone else.

On a more wholesome note 4 leaf clovers. The odds of any particular clover you pick at random being one is low, but a lot of white clover plants have a lot of clovers on them so that largely negates that. Plus, some genetically good plants can have multiple of them, I literally got over 20 this past week from a specific plant in my yard because it’s predisposed to them

As someone who makes very little but has a high credit score, if you’re not able to pay it off immediately to help your score out, don’t buy it, unless it’s some one time thing that is a “need” or in an emergency.
An example would be a car, a new stove/fridge. It’s hard to eat if you can’t store or cook your food and these can get expensive. Pay it off as fast as you can though, always pay more than the minimum.

On the subjects of movies I’ve turned on so many folks to various different movies during barracks movie nights. They wanted something violent and action filled I’d throw on a copy of one of the Shogun Assassin movies, they wanted something raunchy and here I am with a copy of Freaked starring Alex Winter (Ted from Bill and Ted). It got to the point where some of them even stopped going to Blockbuster and began raiding my collection on movie nights, I had to start making a list of who had what I had so much of my stuff out at any point!

  • @themartialartsapproach8786

When it comes to early pregnancy loss, I admit it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. It's a sperm and an egg, just starting to multiply cells. No sentience, no personality, no times to look back on together. I don't understand how it's possible to grieve some cell clusters. That's my one "sociopath" area. I have zero biological urge to have kids, and have a bit of a hard time understanding why people want them, then complain about them, want them gone amap, and mourn their lost personal life and freedoms...and then mock non-parents. I don't get it.
But then, that's just me. This post helps me understand that there is probably a spectrum of people with such urges, and the devastation of those not coming to fruition.

Poop, sperm, used tampons wrapped in towels, weird sh!t on the walls, wet toilet paper with pubic hair in random places, etc.
20% of the cabins would end up being absolutely trashed. As in, I wonder how it would even be possible. The creativity was off the charts, too.
