Really love this recipe!! The texture is just how I like it! I would add more sugar to make it a bit sweeter and next time I'll let it rest a bit longer also. Thanks for the recipe!!!!! Super fast and easy!!!

Yong puto na gawa ng mga ilocano noong araw na nabibili ko noon sa baguio city hindi ko na muling natikman sa ngayon, iba ang lasa ng mga puto ngayon. Masarap talaga yon.

Mine turned out nothing like it did in the video... When done steaming they cakes fell and became a chewy tapioca consistency. I followed the directions step by step and my cakes turned out like what you would find in bubble tea. It's a no go for me.

Hi Lina! Thank you for this unique dessert. Although it didn't come out as I expected and no rise either. However it came out more like silkworm cake dessert. It tasted real good with some grinded roasted sesame seed, peanuts, salt, sugar. Very creative.

Try tweaking the recipe. I know when I travel to MN I have to adjust the amount of tapioca starch. Make sure the yeast is fresh and rapid rise.

I have a question, I bought a package of this at my Asian store, I should have thought it would be more dense because it was a heavy package, And I took a bite out of it and it was like weird, wasn't soft it was firm, am I supposed to do anything special to it, like microwave it for a few seconds, I thought maybe it was for a soup to be in a water or something so I watch a video or two my but that's just for making it and you guys said it's soft, I'm assuming I should put it in a microwave till it gets soft, I'm storing it in a fridge it came out of a fridge type area at the Asian store
