    4:20....CREEPY. AS. HELL. If a 30+ year old needs to ask someone's mom for permission to date, that girl's too young. Again...CREEPY. AS. HELL.

    • @Jarnauga
      @Jarnauga Před 6 lety +3

      Depends on the country I guess, if a 34 Year old asks a mother if they can date their daughter and the mother says no, over here in Germany, he can still date the daughter, the mother could file charges, and the Court could come to the conclusion that nothing illegal is happening, even if the girl is 14 Years old. Or they could come to the conclusion that it is a crime, but its pretty much up to the court to decide it on the individual case. So in that case, the parents consent is relatively irrelevant any way. Also yeah, still super weird...

    • @backyardbreeze112
      @backyardbreeze112 Před 6 lety +7

      Yikes...I really hope it's not common for a middle aged man to be sniffing around 14 year old girls in Germany. I maintain my original thought: CREEPY AS HELL.

    • @Jarnauga
      @Jarnauga Před 6 lety

      Common not, at least not this kind of age gap, but at least 14/15 Year olds with people over 18 and in their twenties, is somewhat common, at least it happens and is not taken to court or anything. But its not the norm over here either. Its generally more about giving teenagers more rights and not drawing arbitrary lines how old their partner is allowed to be, if they can consent, they can consent. And its the same age at which they can be charged with crimes as a minor. Also its a difference if someone has once a relationship or sex with a teenager or if its a regular thing, like someone who is mainly interested in teenagers, that would be considered creepy here as well. It pretty much depends on the individual case over here. But its not really common, its just not frowned upon in the same way that it is in the US.

    • @backyardbreeze112
      @backyardbreeze112 Před 6 lety +3

      This is a definite No Go here. A 14 year old should not have a sexual partner. Full Stop. Certainly not one in their 20's. Same with a 15, 16 or 17 year old, imo. The average "age of consent" in America is 16. That is not to mean that a 16 year old dating a 30 something would be anything short of alarming, but it was put in place so that if a 16 year old has consensual sex with a 17 year old, the 17 year old doesn't end up in jail.

      Yes, there's a hardcore that will enable any obscene behaviour for political expediency.
      The people of Alabama are more nuanced than they are painted though, and reducing them to base stereotypes is a large part why the Dems can't win there - they call it, with some justification, 'elite liberal values'.

      The sad thing is that I have a friend who fell in love with, and eventually married a 17 year old when he was 25 and he still feels guilty about even approaching her, 3 kids and 35 years later! He (and she) are happy with the way things turned out, but he realizes that he should not have done what he did back then. He has told me that if he didn't know her age, he might feel differently, but he did - the first time he saw her was in a High School cheerleader uniform. It was (as far as I can tell) the only time he ever did that, and he married her when she was 18, and he still considers himself guilty. But Moore, years older when he did the things he seems to have done has no remorse at all. And it seems that the voters of the "Christian values" state of Alabama don't give a rat's ass either.

If they are not old enough to consent to sex, then is it really a date, or is it just an old creep figuring out how to make a child his prey?

      This is actually the first time I've been on the receiving end of the Hillary fanclub-part of american politics, and man are you guys persistent. No wonder the Trump retards can't bother to switch back sides and just want to stay supporting Trump just to not let you have the victory when this is how you react when someone tells you that you're using ONE word wrong.
      I'm Swedish. I like Bernie Sanders. I hate Trump. I hate the Republicans (kind of dislike the Democrats as well though). Still, pointing out that a pedophile is someone who finds prepubertal children, and that it's a big difference between that and someone who finds a 17-year old attractive (which we as men are *evolved* to do, by the way) that's a huge no-no, only because now the Democrats stand to gain something because a Republican found a 17-year old sexually attractive. Yeah, let's make him out to be the monster of the earth, because he's a Republican.
      It's pretty pathetic, and it's exactly the reason why Hillary lost. Pretty sad you guys over there don't see that, and now the world is stuck with a man-child as president of the USA. You all got what you deserved. The rest of us didn't.

At this point, as much of a shit as Roy Moore is, I kinda want him to file charges for defamation against all these news outlets. Just because they got to learn their message. All these journalists throwing the term around....its just shocking.

She said he never did more than kiss her, and she had positive memories of their relationship - right up until Moore said she was lying about it. Like, there was a FOX News headline "Moore Accusers Worked For Clinton Campaign," even though she hadn't accused him of misconduct and she's a registered Republican. She worked for Clinton's campaign in the sense that she provided sign language translation for them, she wasn't campaigning on Clinton's behalf.
    I feel very badly for her. She's a Republican woman being dragged through the mud by other conservatives when she did nothing wrong. She just told the truth.
