Absolutely 💯. Prime Ministers have the option of meeting with her weekly (when both in London). According to Royal biographers, they always take the option. Apparently she gives *very* diplomatic advice like:
_"I remember when [ex-PM] had a similar problem regarding [×] & s/ he considered these options..."_ She doesn't give an outright solution or opinion, but she has SO much experience that she always has an insightful perspective to add for consideration. She makes people think.
Listening to her speak about ANYTHING shows how knowledgeable she is on countless topics - with a good bit of feminism thrown in there too.
I'm not a staunch royalist, but as I said, I really think the Queen is awesome.
The Queen did more military service than the Commander in Chief of the US.

Well it started when Trump's grandfather fled Germany to America to escape military service. I guess it runs in the family. When not one family member, in four generations, served in the military, than that says a lot.

Taxes are up ( I can do math, mine went up $800 and I made about $2000 less than last year). Tax cuts went to the 1% only. Business are pocketing that money and laying off employees. Companies are not moving back to the US. Wages are stagnate. Employment is low because people have to work 2 jobs to make ends meet. 40% of the people couldn't handle a $400 emergency. Roads are falling apart. Millions have lost their health care. Farmers are going bankrupt. Bolton is goading Iran into a war. T'arumps golf bills in two years are triple that of which Obama spent on golf in 8.
And biggest of all: the deficit is skyrocketing (it's now higher than when Obama tripled it in order to bring the economy back in line {also note that when Obama left the deficit was lower than when he took office}) because this "great economy" is being held high with money that doesn't exist.
This bubble will burst soon, long before 2020. T'arump fuct America over bigly.

The Royal family wouldn't leave their people during WWII. Elizabeth went to work in the motor pool and drove ambulances as well, I believe. She wore uniform. Elizabeth has also spent time doing farm chores. She has never been afraid to get her hands dirty.

The parliament is who is in charge...and they do get voted in. So many people never bother to find out the true facts, they just run off at the mouth. The Queen is probably only even being nice to him because if Brexit goes ahead a small island nation will be on its own in trade and in war unless they keep trump onside.
She would have had no real say his coming let alone meeting him. Meghan is not obliged to meet him baby or not.
She is a duchess married to a prince who is only a duke and not ever likely to be king. If William were to die before becoming king then George would be king. It is in the constitution.
One doesn't have to " buy" those descriptions of the then Princess's behavior it's the truth.
Elizabeth has always carried herself well and has been a great role model for the younger Royals.....who have continually let her down.
@ROBERT MCCLAIR with the way nobility of different nations intermarried for hundreds of years, that's not shocking. It's happened for thousands of years in fact. The pharaohs in ancient Egypt? Generations of them were Greeks. A lot of Arabian and Ottoman rulers were of different ethnicities than the folk they ruled, due to importing European and some African women to their harems for hundreds of years who birthed the next rulers and nobles.
And where is their lineage "hidden"? They anglicized their houses name, sure, but it's not a dark secret nor has it ever been. It's not an unreasonable thing to do if you're going to succeed another country's throne due to marriage politics.
Unless you don't care about history (or if you're a Brit, basic facts about your own country) - in which case LOTS of things you don't know appear to be "secret" to you. The more uneducated you are, the more things are "secret"...
