My sister put her kid in pageants and my niece is now 17. She is the most selfish, controlling, and egotistical thing I've ever met because of those pageants...and now the 17 year old is acting the same. Our mom didn't do this to me and my siblings but my sis loves attention and lives through her daughter. I think pageants should require therapy after each round.
