Great help. I had a Low Fuel level warning on my 2008 Jaguar xf 2.7 tdv6. I was surprised by finding this system and with your video it was a 10 minute job cleaning up some connectors. Thanks very much.

Haha, u kept saying" i might break the camera" i was worried more about the fuel pump and wires 😂
Not done this job recently but changed the fuel pump in my 1995 Fiat Barchetta when i lived in Spain a few years ago😊

Hi, thank you for watching and for your feedback. Yes it sounds quite funny but I usually don't use the camera as you probably realised and trying to juggle the camera and doing the work at the same time proved difficult.

Well done! I did the same repairs on my 2.1 X-type.

Hi Andrew, thank you for watching. Can you tell me the year of your XK and clarify the issue. Thanks.

@@andrewmitchell8859 Hi Andrew, I refer to that part as a luggage / security cover ( not designed to support weight ) hence I needed you to clarify. In my experience the 2 lower pins cause the issue and then the top 2 pins pull out through the weight of the cover falling, I fit the top pins first then try the bottom pins a few times until they feel secure ( I don't come across that issue very often ). The pins are available from Jaguar ( £3.36 each, sold separately ) but the other part / half that fits in the tailgate frame is no longer available from Jaguar, they may be available elsewhere? I have not needed to try and modify the pins / connections so can't advise on that at the moment.
