Nick trains very smartly. He slows the negative down like crazy, never uses momentum. This is hardcore bodybuilder workout. He is making every rep, every pound count before putting any additional weight.
Yes grasshopper , weight has very little meaning in bodybuiding. It could be 10 pounds or 50 pounds , it's the ability to fully feel the movement and 100% tension on muscles . Throw heavy weight around is for weak ego lifters. I see it everyday and used to ego lift when I was young myself. Bodybuilding is all about force our body to adapt and grow from the stimuli we force on it. Nicks form is perfect. This is how everyone should do their reps. Slow and super slow negative allways keep tension on muscle. So simple really

I agree with you almost 100% that weight doesn’t matter, to a certain extent. If you’re using such little weight that you’re able to get 30 reps or more you’re not doing much. It’s within reason. I’ve used heavy weights for years and lighter weight for years and found I grew just as much with both but there’s a particular look you can only get with utilizing heavier weight. Fouad has almost an entire podcast on this subject.

The best form I've seen on any lifter as of late. He uses ridiculously heavy weights--free and machines--but never sacrifices form. Perfect blend of lifting heavy and feeling it all the way through. Hopefully, he'll improve even more and place higher in next year's Mr. O. He deserved third this year, IMO.

You can just tell how much tension is being placed on the muscle. It's called training with intent and super inspiring, it's no wonder he's so big

@@emilywolf609 Ronnie does not have no.1 arms in BB history. Probably no.4 or 5. Definitely some of the best, but not no.1. He had very weak triceps and his forearms weren’t anything to write home about. Biceps however, he’s definitely top 2. Only other competition on biceps is Markus Ruhl I’d say.

You motivate me , I'm 50 and been lazy over a year off. I get big too and weigh up to 240pumped when I'm in normal condition . It makes sense, blood carries everything that makes a muscle grow.. so more blood more growth. Super heavy weights is not the way to go, if you want to last in this sport, and come out of it healthy. Besides I think volume stimulates more growth anyway!

Ramy is someone that will NOT not look right unless the exact type products are in the blood and it has to be EXACT type, while this kid has some of the best strongest biggest looking muscles I have ever seen in the PRO'S.. he is on a different league than Ramy, just a decade younger and less experienced, but bodybuilding wise he wipes the floor with Ramy

And the back lat spread; he needs a bigger spread badly.
So a session dedicated to quads? With another one for your hamstrings? I wonder what your schedule for the week is like, but having separate sessions for the quads/hams is a sound decision.

Funny Nick said, "Even being in Jersey, joints, aren't fucked up yet." I've lived here all my life and I can tell you in my experience, my joints feel fucked up at least half the year from the cold weather or whatever. Warm vacation weather in Florida or other places always has my joints feeling 100% better. Then back home to NJ and it's very hard on the joints. That's why I do high rep slow training because I found over time that my joints were hurting, not the muscle bellies. Likely a combination of the load on the joints and the NJ weather making them suck anyway. FL here I come soon.
I know it's the offseason, but would good if you could hit some poses after each workout so we could see what you look like with that "wicked pump" . 💪💪💪

@nickwalker hey mane when u say high volume. Do u hit many reps of a heavy weight 6-10 reps?
Or a normal weight for 15-25 reps?
High volume doesn't have anything to do with rep range; high volume is a lot if different exercises for 4-5 sets each...Nick uses a rep range of around 10-12 reps..
