That's not really Rocks fault Billy Gunns career didn't workout after winning King of the ring. Hell even Viscera won King of the ring, and his career never went anywhere either. Billy Gunn was on the injured list more than once after winning it, and the first time he came back he couldn't get back to what he was doing teaming up with China and HHH, so instead he went back to tagging with road dogg. 2nd time he was injured HHH and the rest of DX kicked him out for nearly a year.

The element of surprise is hard in this era of wrestling. There have been very few times where wrestling companies were able to keep it as close to the vest as possible, such as the Rock making a spontaneous return recently or Edge returning at the Royal Rumble in 2020. With the rumors that go around these last couple of years, it's more like, "They might show up or they may not," because companies and the wrestlers themselves try to deny it or be as vague as much as they can so they don't ruin the surprise like Cody Rhodes returning to the WWE. Some way or form, someone gets information and gives them to the dirt sheets, whether it's true or a rumor. But at the same time, if a wrestling company can pull that element of surprise, it makes it so much better because us fans do understand how hard it is to keep a secret in wrestling, thus giving a much bigger reaction.

While we want to Jade now, it's only going to be "when is your 1st match in WWE" all over her IG now

To be honest, I have always watch wrestling.
Jonathan coachman is not a name I forget, JR and the king I will never forget.
Today's announce team the only one I can name off is Michael Cole who has not missed a day in 30 years and booker T who is on NXT.
I have no idea who the announce cast is for smackdown they all sound thr same. And I think it's wade barret who they recently added to raws.

Yup…they won’t take the belt off Roman because they are worried that the next guy won’t be able to draw. But back then they had 10-15 guys who could have the belt or at least make a believable run at it.
