I didn't mind it being called "logic", but why do you think this distinction is important? What is logic?
I think the absurd false "logic" of some of these jokes is the exact reason they are funny and compelling. I don't think reason & fantasy are fully separate, particularly in art, I think they tend to work together.
But I found your perspective kind of neat as you sound rather passionate about these distinctions.
