Hey guys! need some advice here. I bought a used TD04L-13G-5 from a GSR mitsubishi. The question is, will any other TD04L-13G CHRA fit the current compressor and turbine housing?
@@turbolabamerica just buy one theres no machining required and the clearance you speak of is there for a reason as the factory O ring sits against the 45 deg bevel on the comp cover thus they all have one factory. Youll find data bases on line that show this and all the part numbers.
Would somebody please mind asking if the T51R mod can be done on any turbo, please? I never get an answer or response to a question. I'm in the process of deciding what turbo to buy either a Precision GEN2 PT6062 or Garrett GTX 3582 GEN2 hopefully a friend from the US is sending it but before he sends it I would like the T51R mod doing. He can't send it if we don't know if the mod is possible & you guys will do it. Any help appreciated people.
It looks like powder coat from Prismatic Powders, the color is Black Chrome 2. I just did my wheels, grill, and bumpers in the same color.
You wouldnt happen to have any videos of your turbos on the dyno? would be nice to see your art making power

They come factory with a O ring between the core and cover, 55 and 52 both do.

For a turbo this big usually 0.9mm is factory. I some for .8 and ended at .85mm

It depends if there is enough clearance, most 4” covers can be done
