Upgraded H1C Specs

Yes you could, since making this video turbo lab now does the t51r mod in house so you wouldnt have to send it two places like I did
How did they charge you for the mod ?
How did you send your turbo in to get this mod and how much was it. And do you have head studs?
No head studs, and i just put it in a box and shipped it to turbo lab of America and told them exactly what I wanted done
What’s the highest egt you get on this? My stock turbo 12v spikes to 1500 if I floor it without a load, easily reaches 1300. Stock injectors. Would a turbo with these specs help my truck? I use it for towing.
Doing a run down the 1/4 mile flat out will see about 1300 max. Towing a car in an enclosed v-nose trailer I'm right around 900-1000 at 70mph
I’ll definitely have to do a turbo upgrade then. I Absolutely love that sound too. I Can’t get enough lol
How much boost have you been able to make with that turbo??

Much louder then stock, I think it was worth the money in style point alone. Everybody always comments on how insane it sounds
@@Dirty_Kurtis awesome, I absolutely love how my truck performa with the turbo I have on it but it's almost silent, one of the quietest turbo I've ever heard and I'm just not okay with that, my cast wheel S 366 at least twice as loud. Definitely going to get this done!

The T51 mod was around 350? And the Turbo internals + machining was about 550 maybe? It was a while ago and I forget the exact costs

Were you able to keep your factory downpipe or did you have to go to like an Hx40 style downpipe ?
It already had a 4 inch downpipe on the truck when I bought it. But yes you could keep your factory down pipe. Even tho the turbo has been modified the mounting flanges are all still the same size as stock. Another reason I stuck with the h1c rather then going hx40 and having to modify downpipes ect.

@@jakelamoreaux5245 Thanks! I'd never of thought you were local haha if you haven't done injectors yet I'd highly recommend tho. That with the upgrade turbo make a big difference
How big of a boost of hp did you get with these mods?
I've never had it on a dyna so I'm not sure. But there was a noticeable difference of fast spool up and it holds psi better then the stock h1c
What inlet size did you go with on that t51r mod?
Inlet size of ur turbo. You dont get to choose
How do you get on contact with lab guy?? I tried to get an answer buy nothing from 6 months ago
I just emailed him. He got back to me pretty quick. You can go thru t51r.com to get the insert part of it done that makes the spool loud
Does the mod lose the antisurge ability or compromise reliability or performance?
The h1c stock doesn't have the anti surge cut out to start with, so it's actually better then stock, and no performance loss either

DUDE....That's an HX35 That Austin reworked at Turbo Labs..And he did the T51R mod to also..
