Building a 12 valve for my motorhome with an allison md3060 6 speed. The exhaust manifold is cracked and it has a wh1c turbo. I have a 24 valve automatic dodge truck turbo and thinking of using an aftermarket $400 exhaust manifold. I would like to use an exhaust brake and keep egts low. Would an aftermarket manifold be worth $400 or just fix the old one? Would head studs be a good idea for this application? I heard you mention the k27, would this be a good application for this motorhome? And as always, thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and answer our questions, have a great new year!
The turbo off your 24v is it a hx35 or hy35 ? I would replace it with a new manifold. I aftermarket one would flow better. But depends on if you want to add power. On the stud side of things I wouldn’t worry about it unless you have a head gasket issue or if you were building a new engine.
The turbo is an HY. I am following your 12 valves series while rebuilding the one for my RV (thank you, would of missed a few things) Thanks for your help and advice.
As soon as it warms up a bit I going to install a g56 speed in my 95 that I use to tow my enclosed trailer with . If I have to replace my charger In the future what would be a good replacement to support say 290 or 300 hp thanks

small s300 base or a k27 will do the job
Hey Rob, I’m trying to find a 3” v band flange stepped up to 4” any idea who makes one?
Sorry I don’t any time I need something like that I make them on the lathe
Hey Rob what do you think of 8.3 l Cummins turbo on a 12 valve.?
With the bigger exhaust housing and turbine wheel makes them a bit laggy. But guys used to do it all the time
I know it's an old vid. But thanks for the info 👍
No problem. Glad it helped
What would be the best one to use on a 12v? Plan to put one in my F150. Don't want excessive smoke
hx35 is the cheap factory option
How do you think the hx35 would perform on a 2011 3.7 v6 mustang?
It would work but I think you would run out of air in John rpm
Can you get louder whistle from H1C
If it has a silence ring in it then you can yes
Orası çok dağınık bir tezgah
