Holset HX55 Turbocharger Rebuild/Modification

Step by step video showing the process of rebuilding a Holset HX55 as well as installing a billet compressor wheel. This procedure will apply to the Holset HX50, HX52, and HX55. No concern on balance?

Nope. If you’re buying quality pre balanced parts the imbalance will be so minimal or nonexistent that it won’t affect longevity of the turbo. I have rebuilt a good amount of turbos this way and haven’t had any issues.
