I'm sorry but the entire title of the video is U joint replacement, and you did not show any of that??
lol did you watch the video? It’s the front axle u joint. It clearly goes over how to remove and replace
Great video as always Miller!! Keep it up 👍. I’ll be doing valve seals soon when I get the chance lol.
Much appreciated! Good luck with the valves
This is one of those videos you comeback to 12 years later and still love it.
I’m biased lol but I completely agree
You get any black crap in the bed or does it all go into the air 😂
Some of it falls into the bed
Did you have to cut the valve cover for the 2 in the front?
I did because I was too lazy to remove something at the back to get the last two longer studs in.
Ehh the tree will eat the 02 right up 😂
I didn't know I had to mark the axle.
You don’t have to but it helps with reassembly and lining up the axle.
Where’d you get the kit? And how’s it holding up
12000km on it so far. Running great. Npboosted is where I get some of my kits.
Go visit the cancer ward and see if the people who are terminally I'll love it.
Such an irrelevant and unintelligent comment haha. Go complain to the steel factories or battery plants.
About how many total hrs for install bud?
I took my time on this one. If you’re handy you could probably be done in 3.5 hours.
Very ignorant.
What is? lol
Keeping these trucks alive is better for the environment then Tesla batteries
@@brycescreen113couldn’t agree more
What a lucky tree💀🌲💀😋👍👍
What did you do between the cab and the bed? Just spray as best as possible?
Yep. I just sprayed the best I could. Can’t really tell unless you look super close.
I won’t lie smoke stack in the back looks sick and lol but for a work truck not very practical
Impractical is usually more fun lol
That’s badass
❤
This smoke is one of the best smell ever i wish i was there to just inhale this beautiful colored smoke
All the how dare yous!
?
Out of curiosity: Would you accept if someone would offer to face your stack and roll coal as you please?
That is quite the weird request.
I know I’m late but thanks for the video! I’m from Australia and about to do my dual cab ute. Can’t wait! Your trucks looks mint! How’s it holding up now?
Thank you! The raptor liner is still holding up great. No complaints at all!
Sounds like a pig😂 but it is reaally good made, haw much torque in newton meters does your can make?
Close to 1700 in newton meters
What does did it make
Pardon?
What size injectors? And do you have a grid heater still?
150s with other fuel mods. Grid heater is out.
Holy fuck lol 😆
Took a nice truck and ruined it... Guess u needed to glue it together for it wud stop Cummins apart...
Thanks bud
is that a windshield wiper motor ran directly to a 12v source tugging on the throttle linkage?
Stock setup. I just have it so that I can have it rest at the top.
I envy the camera person he got to smell the beautiful smoke
Beautiful sound!
What cam
Just to avoid some confusion cams don't cause lope on diesels. It comes from larger high pressure lines, tubes, modified injection pump setups, and injector pop pressures.
LMMFAO
The line x looks great!
Thank you. It has held up pretty good.
I love that sound
You and me both
Your truck is one bad motherfucker! Is it your daily?
Thanks and yes its my daily lol
Jesus put that grid heater back in Dude!!!
I probably should. 🤣 Supposed to be a mild winter though.
Dude that’s awesome. You do anything to make it that much smoke, or is that just how a stock 12v smokes on a cold start?
It’s a heavily modified 24v
You need to be spraying that at 60-80psi and there’s no way your little compressor is keeping up which is the cause of all the blobs.
I’m happy with how it turned out. I mentioned in the video that you spray at whatever PSI is the desired texture. A better spray gun could have helped with the blobs as well.
That's some thick volumetric smoke
Yeah and it smells good
Dude, that pillar of smoke would make someone think there's a fire nearby😂
Smells good
That's called Going to work at 6:00 am because you don't Wanna have a $100,000 truck payment . Not smoke
Neighbours don’t like it lol
I would flip the secondary backwards then you could have a short hot pipe which is the most efficient to minimize heat loss and keep velocity up. Plus it looks sick and a little cleaner. Awesome job though either way.
I completely agree. I realized shortly after finishing this build that the long exhaust feed to the secondary would have a negative effect on efficiency and performance. I’ve made a few adjustments since this video and a turbo change. Rips pretty good. One day I’ll change the exhaust piping but for now I’m happy with it. Thanks for the input!
Awesome exhaustpipe sound and smoke🚙💨😈
No concern on balance?
Nope. If you’re buying quality pre balanced parts the imbalance will be so minimal or nonexistent that it won’t affect longevity of the turbo. I have rebuilt a good amount of turbos this way and haven’t had any issues.
Oh ya I love my old 1992 12v Cummins
Would be hard not to!
That a 24v
@@user-bb3ny2zp1m yep 24 valve
Wow i would love to stick my nose in the exhaust and just breathe those smokes. Diesel smoke’s always smells good
awesome truck! Sweet stack. Obviously not in California 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very far from Cali lol
You can Steal and Beat people in the streets and Do drugs kids in the streets of California But !!!!!! But if you have a Diesel truck you are basically a criminal the world is so backwards. They don't wanna fussxxx with us 😂😂 you wanna see someone Raise hell . Come mess with real Diesel lovers and Enthusiast ...that's even scarier 😂😂😂
Love to smell that blue coloured smoke..it smells awesome
Yeah blue smoke smells really strong fuely n strong. Love to smell whole day
It was probably like 11-20 degrees. Which you Cummins owners are proud of struggling through for some reason. My 7.3 rolled over at -15😎
It was about -1 degrees. Not proud of it lol. I just thought the smoke was cool. Sounds mean too. I can roll mine over at -12 max without plugging it in. Would take too long to start any colder than that.
Your 7.3 also requires 6 key cycles for glow plugs, 2 jump boxes, 1 battery charger set to jump start, 1/2 a can of starting fluid and 2 block heaters plugged in for 3 weeks just to start and make 150rwhp
@@lilredsled”plugged in for 3 weeks” 💀

Good tips. Thanks
No problem!
Do you recall what bolts are in water jacket? I’m about to do this
I don’t recall which ones exactly, but you will know when you pull them. Just have some sealer on hand when you do the job.
what you also want to do is make sure the bottom if the washer if dry and the resting area as well
@@user-px4us4ou1bi assume the top is lubed along with the bottom of the nut?
How much thread seal should be applied on the studs?
I got my first truck which is a 1999 dodge ram 1500 4x4 it is the truck that I wanted and it has a little bit of rest in the bed but not a whole lot it was used as a farm truck down here in the United States down south so pretty much no salt I'm going to Raptor line mine i already have the stuff to do it I'm just going to fix up the body because it does have some rest and some dents and then I'm going to do the same thing to mine I really like the way it looks in the video is it still holding up pretty good. You probably won't care but I do have videos at get it done Outdoors on CZcams of course
Thanks for the interest and yes the raptor liner is still holding up great. Make sure to do some good prep work and it will easily last the life of the truck. I’ll give your CZcams videos a look.
Okay thanks
