Are you talking about the channel locks he used on the snap ring?? That snap ring is designed so that you can use pliers! So he used the correct tool..

Excellent video brother! You know I can't believe the junk that you get back from people that slop the stuff together and some of that stuff coming right out of professional shops it amazes me! Not that we don't all make mistakes but it's just that why are people doing that if they don't know how to do it? Hi, can you tell me how much should be the gap for the compressor and the turbine wheel inducer and exducer side to the compressor and the turbine housings respectively?

I am about to buy the turbine shaft wheel and rebuild kit the reason is I can grab the compressor wheel and move it around it never locked up and hasn't cut into the housing yet do you think this is the right fix or should I go with a whole new turbo
