I flipped my atv once as a kid, hit a jump and rolled her pretty sure i literally hung on to it while rolling, within less than a minute a group of latino dudes were pulling me out the ditch and helped me flip my quad back over, my family was confused when they rolled up on 4 Mexicans flipping my quad back over

The same happened to me as a kid hit a jump, and It rolled like 6 times my sister flew off immediately after the first roll she was ok, my foot was stuck in the steering wheel for all roles I somehow had zero injury's or pain. It was an adult size utility ATV. Someone was watching over me.
I grew up in rural Colorado, one day at like 9 years old me and some buddies decided it would be funny to cover me in ketchup and have me lay in a snow bank in the ditch on the side of the road. After a few minutes a whole Hispanic family stopped and as soon as they got out of their truck to inveatigate, i took off running into the woods. I still remember hearing nothing but frantic Spanish as I was running away.

And that's besides the fact that the water is moving quite quickly which could also just cause more panic making it harder to hold your breath.
