I have a hx35w 10cm exhaust with 54 x 78 With an extended tip to 81mm 5x5 billet. I have it on a 2.8l inline 6 gas engine. I've been thinking about upgrading again to 60x78. I don't necessarily want more overall power I want more at a lower rpm. I am pretty happy with the power. It originally had a 12cm exhaust housing on it and going to the 10cm helped... Maybe I need to go down even smaller. 🤔 Awesome video. I didn't balance mine at all... I just put new bearings in it and put it together and it's been working for a couple of years @ 14 to 20 psi. I don't think it's working very hard compared to what it would do in a diesel engine. diesel flows way more air than a gas engine.

Yooooo Mate you don’t have any idea!,, Brother you made me me itchy three days ago when I watched your videos and you drive me searching for engine, and today I went to see a 1998 w202 250 turbo and I found is the engine started first smooth but rough idle ? No oil leak just from age it’s some around the head so it’s normal never changed anything on this car was for old man anyway so I don’t know about those engine if the cams are good with single camshaft No idea the price are around €1000 if I buy it I want to swap on my discovery 3 as I had enough wasting time and money on Ford rubbish engine? Really good video again.
How do you think that your setup would work if you replace the hx35 to hy40v?
