    You guys should do a full "janky" build on this civic with the HX55 turbo. most shops would just give you their old or useable race parts. The parts list would go as such, d16 block with benson sleeves, o'ringed, 12.5.1cp pistons, pauter rods, arp hardware, custom intake manifold, ID 2000cc injectors, Hondata S300, custom turbo header, 4 inch core intercooler, remember all parts have to have 20-40 runs on the strip, heavily used. I think this set up would make about 760hp for 3 minutes, or no wastegate and it would make 999hp at 11,000rpm with 80psi of boost for 12 seconds before you blew the head, rods and the turbo. You guy do some really funny stuff with tunable cars 😋😏🤔🤣🤣

    Put a small exhaust system on it the back pressure would for sure help it build more boost, and possibly build a decent manifold lol that motor should build some sort of boost

      Yea. If you purposely build backpressure after turbine, youre dropping DeltaP across the turbine, effictively making it spool slower.

      @@cloudvreviews7323 the pipes would have to be equal length with same velocity of air flow. It would be very difficult to tune the engines to be properly in sync.

    Once you get the Saab turbo on,you should surprise Brent by showing up and asking him if he'd tune it,just to see how they all react.Maybe try to see if it make 100hp on the dyno too.

    Run a large inducer cone and go down the highway to force more air in and it may help with spool!

    you need a solenoid on the fuel return line so when you need more fuel pressure, you just clamp the line and let the fuel pressure spike up till the internal relief on the pump bleeds some off.... at like 80psi.... you will need a turbo that actually make some boost though lol. put just the smaller saab turbo on it and add some oil feed and drains this time so you can test the ghetto fuel pressure raiser lol.

    Run the small turbo cold side into the large hot side input then hook the cold side of the large one into the intake.

    On that built 16 you might consider a set of springs and retainers. Quick Phong style vale job wouldn't hurt to keep those 300 hp reliable

    Keep it jenky, run a pipe from one of the dashboard or floor vents to help push air into the turbo!

    I would just redo your hot side pipe and just spin one of the two scrolls and see if that helps boost since it's a divided flange it should spool it better I would think

    i think with a proper manifold, an exhaust down/uppipe and some work on the engine (cam and head porting) it could spin it up
    nnote how i didn't say make useful power cause it'd start spooling at like 7000 rpm lmao

    You need to take it to the Dyno and ok put an ecu on it with some injector. Then have Brent pop that thing on the Dyno. Should be able to load it enough in 4th or 5th gear to get it to make boost.

    Pull that hose off the boost pipe plug the boost pipe hole and run that hose from the valve cover to atmosphere

    My advise is to keep the diameter smaller. Maybe You find a cone shaped tube? A lower tube diameter improves the flow.

    Why didn't you run oil to the turbo? Putting a cap full of oil in the turbo isn't gonna help with tryna get it to spool ,seeing as it's spose to have oil pressure fed to it

      It’s supposed to be lubricated. It actually is supposed to have limited pressure that’s why most turbos require a restrictor to reduce oil pressure.
      And because I don’t care about this engine or turbo, it only runs for 5 minutes at a time which is hardly long enough to get that big turbo warm

    LOL, hilarious. But with a teeny tiny engine like that, you're not going to get enough back pressure to drive that honkin' monster. That coupled with a drop in pressure going from a small bore to a big one means yet another drop in pressure. Smaller bore all the way through and you *might* get enough to spool it. Get the weenies turbo you can find for sh/ts and giggles.
