- I bought heirloom and organic seeds from several different seed companies and also some live plants. I'm not just stocking up for the fun of it; I am preparing for the future. I feel like if you have seeds, you have food security in your own hands. But, if you wait too long those seeds may be sold out or not available anymore. This is the year to prepare.

Hi! My name is Kim. This year my family has decided to throw out all the conventional ways of easy cooking and convenience foods. We are moving towards a new way of life..more holistic, with whole foods, all organic, and home grown garden produce. Better food, better health, better life! I know it is going to be more planning and hard work...but what we eat is the most important thing that we do all day. Food is medicine or it is poison. I want to serve medicine to my family. Join us as we embark on this new journey. It will be full of progress and mistakes, as we try new things such as tinctures, salves, fermentations, canning, homesteading, gardening, and so much more. ❤️
I love all your families videos! Your channel is so educational, please keep uploading.
Hello Kim
I live in Georgia too...maybe we are neighbors. Wouldn't that be great. Learning a lot. Thank you.
Lovely seeds you got though I don't know most of them. I usually leave some plants to go to seed in my container and sack garden and I love to harvest the seeds. New member here. Hello from Uganda.
Hi Sarah! I have been collecting my seeds too! 😁
Love those seeds. Completely agree we need to start growing our own food ❤️🙏🏼❤️
Absolutely!!
It really does feel like Christmas when your seed order comes in! 😊 A lot of the things I'm growing this year came from Bakers Creek as well. I like the variety they offer.
Can we have an update on your garden? What seeds did you have the most success with this year?
Been missin your uploads!! Hope all is ok
Second one to comment keep it coming
We are moving to my late Aunt and Uncle's home. Looking forward to gardening again after many years. I'd like to start a apothecary garden along with lemons, key limes, kale and squashes. Much love from central Florida to you, Haxman and your family. ❤️
So sorry about your loss but happy for you to be able to start gardening again!
Eeeeek!!!! So much goodness in one box 🤩
Yes it was!
Yep growing so I don't have to buy at the store. Home grown also tastes better.
Absolutely!
Thanks for all your awesome work I look forward to learning from you .. I already want to start the wheat milling but have no clue where to begin
Thanks so much! Start with finding your organic wheat berries. Start with the basics. Hard Red/White and Soft White. I buy mine on Amazon, Breadbeckers, Breadtopia, and I hear that they sell them at Azure, too. I will be uploading videos with milled wheat soon:)
I’m in Canada so it’s not the same lingo here .. and I’m looking for the best nutrition wheat the place I found said the white and red didn’t have the 40 in it .. but there was one that had great nutrients I will get the name and share maybe you have information about it and why the other red and white said just a few in it 😳
I’ve got those cute spoon tomatoes planted! I hope they do well!
I hope so too!
You’re gonna need a bigger yard. 😂. I’m in Zone 8 and do not have a basement. Where do you store your foods?
When it’s time to gather the seeds please share how to do it 🥴🙈🙏🏻❤️

Just discovered your channel from your husband’s . So on page!!!
What is your growing Zone?
How did you select based on light needs?
Hi! So glad you found us. We are in zone 9A. Light needs? I'm not sure what you mean but I research the seeds and for my property and where I live... sometimes things that need a lot of sun can do with just a tad less because we have so much heat and humidity...just familiarize yourself with your area:). Hope this helps!
Why did you not list where you purchased the seeds ?
Ok now you have them, how are you going to store the seeds you don’t necessarily plant? I’ve seen folks use an old photo album. Seed packs sealed in food saver vacuum bags?
I store mine inside a box and place that box inside a cabinet that stays dry and dark. I might put some in the freezer too...I know some people do that as well.
Can you list your seed list?
Where did you order your raspberry starts from? Thank you!

Hey Kim! New to Your channel, but loving it so far! Definitely check out mi gardener if you haven't already. I buy seeds from him every year. We just planted the Raspberry and blueberry bushes we ordered from him and they are so beautiful and sprouting new shoots already! Hoping I can take good care of them!!! Lol!🥰
So glad you found me:) He does have a great channel! Raspberries are so easy, once they are planted and cared for the first few weeks, they take over :). Blueberries are a little more needy at the beginning. Wishing you much success❤️
