Thank you for this one. I am glad someone finally gave The Miz his due during his WWE championship title reign. You could tell he was loving every second of it, and would do anything to make sure he stayed on top as long as he could. I think The Miz got buried because right after Wrestlemania, instead of them celebrating his win over John Cena, they already announced the main event for WM28, Cena Vs Rock once in a lifetime, which overshadowed The Miz's accomplishment. Why did they do this to the Miz? Idk maybe he got pissed b/c of how it happened and started not acting like the good lap dog that he was before so they depushed him, who knows.
He wasn't ready to win the title or fit as champion he sucked plus his booking sucked even more his " main event " will always be remembered as a body for the real main event Cena vs rock
I wish WWE had the balls to let Miz destroy Cena at wrestlemania 33 as a horrified nikki looks on but we all know that will not be happening.

The year long build for Rock-Cena was a good example of what WWF/E would do best back in the day. I was less keen on Rock/Cena 2. DIdn't like Cena's promos during that time either.
Cena didn't need the win back but of course Vince love his super Cena , I prefer Cena vs rock vs punk or just do Cena vs punk , rock vs Cena 2 sucked ass!!!
this mania made 9 and 11 look epic!!!!!!!!

Miz is terrible . He would get beat by a Bushwacker back in the day . We did reverse of nfl athletes are better now but before we had better athletes. Warlord hogan jim duggan mcho man big boss man, bam bam Bigelow all the fat guys were better to.
This idiot host got it wrong with the Undertaker and Triple H match. It was the one from 28 that was the end of an era match not the Mania 27 match.🤦♂
Normally I agree with Meltzer but I totally disagree with his view on The Miz. His promos were never that great, never really came off as credible both on the mic and physically, and he certainly wasn't anything special in the ring. Miz always felt like a guy pretending to be a wrestler than actually being a wrestler.
