LT did surprisingly well in that match. Bigelow deserves a lot of credit too.
Yes for sure
+The Real GamerBot probably. I'm guessing he reffed the match incase LT got lost out there and needed help
Bam Bam Bigelow is so underrated and I believed he shouldn't been WWF Champion or at least Intercontinental champ.
According to the man himself he was being groomed for a huge title push in 1987 and would have won it (most likely in 1988), then he blew out his knee and those plans were canceled and he left WWE.
@@Hammerhead547 I doubt that brotha!!!!!
11:12 "Vince is into younger guys."
😂😂😂 #sry #nevergrewup
At least Salt N Pepa, Pamela Anderson & Jenny McCarthy showed up. The only highlight of this show.
Who doesn't like a Bam Bam cartwheel
Comment of the day, all i pictured was when he does it haha
Wasnt better than Charles Robinson's cartwheel

That match was highly underrated. It delivered in terms of getting mainstream attention & the match itself was good. WM 11 was great.
goodvideo
Would've kept the tag titles on Bob Holly and 1-2-3 Kid and have them face Owen Hart and Yokozuna at WM XI. Have no idea why Vince thought Smoking Gunns would be a better option than Holly and Kid. Gunns didn't get over until Sunny became their manager.
Because Kid was a scrawny guy and Sparky Plugg was just well, not getting over at all.
The Gunns were over for a nice chunk of time. The cheesey energetic 80's baby face routine still had some life left. The Chick dug Billy and Bart too. If you go back to this era The Gunns and Adam Bomb were very much getting the lady cat calls underneath. (Michaels, Ramon, and B. Hart were getting big reactions from the chicks in the upper card).
The problem for The Gunns was that they had zero heels to help keep their heat. The Quebecers with Polo were fantastic but they had left. The Somoans (Fatu and Samu) were excellent but they weren't getting heel heat because the fans loved their offense and then Samu got into trouble and they were done. Then Sione ( Barbarian) came in and he had terrible chemistry with Fatu.
Then you had the Million Dollar Teams with Tatanka/IRS/Bigelow/Sid etc and you could hear a fart with those pairing IRS and Tatanka were just dreadful. So uninspired. The Tatanka/Luger feud alone was enough to gag a maggot. Owen/Yoko was good for a bit but Yoko was eating himself to death.. Niedhart/Bulldog didn't last because Jim got fired. Bulldog/Luger had potential but Luger was on his way out. I don't even remember what Owen/ Bulldog did.
I also forgot Savio Vega/Razor Ramon being a short lived duo. Vega (awful as Kwang) was just cheeseball galore as the "Caribbean Legend" and you could tell Ramon wanted nothing to do with that team. Of course Ramon ends up getting his 2,000th IC Title reign over Jarrett and he's pretty much checked out unless he's in a match with his Kliq Mates or guys he can really go with Bret/Owen specifically. It's a shame he never got with Goldust before Rhodes figured it out because I think they could have had a legit memorable run with each other besides the innuendo stuff.
poked and prodded, stop prodding me with a gold poker ,God dammit bah God!
I think they chose bam bam becuz he could fucking work and bump good for LT.
This made Bam Bam look week.
Witch week? Last week? This week? What week did he look like? Oh you meant weak.
If you go back and watch Bam Bam after his face turn; you can blame Nash and HBK all you want, but the guy was a fish out of water. The fans wanted a face Bam Bam. They didn't want a face Bam Bam trying to be a cool kid with Two Dudes With Attitude. He came across as that kid who tries so desperately to fit in and it was corny as it gets.
Then you give him the goofy shoulder pads and cape gimmick and the flaming finger guns and now he comes off as a bad comic book hero and nobody wants an obese toothless comic book hero now, let alone this era. Don't even get me started on the cartwheel stuff. It just didn't work in that timeline. As impressive as it might be.
So Vince mucked that up. Then you had Nash whose 5 moves of doom and bad assery was really starting to get hot with the live crowds, Michaels was starting to come into his own as HBK. Things were looking up as cool heels. Nash was rightfully turned babyface, they desperately needed an injection of a cool but believable baby face. Unfortunately they didn't have many heels who could go against Nash with credibility. Feud with Sid was bunk... However he was slaughtered by Vince's love affair with Opie Taylor baby faces. Those darn tootinest fightin' champeens! I respect my good buddy Bret Hart and I'm gonna be like him! Fighting Spirit boiiizzzz!!!! It was nauseating.
I was in Hartford for this show. Worst show ever.
Ouch.
This was the worst Wrestlemania
Dave Meltzer says " I don't know " an awful lot . It's almost as if he " doesn't know " anything and is just guessing his way through it. I mean I could bloody do that.
Redfield 100%- you're a fucking idiot. Typical anti-Meltzer smark.
WrestleMania 9 & 11 are unwatchable.
27 was pretty bad
The worst WM of them all.
Nah. 9 was worse
I agree 11 is worse. 9 for me is like a guilty pleasure I mean Macho Man on Commentary sold
9 had Tatanka/Michaels and Steiners/Headshrinkers. 11 had Michaels/Diesel (which could've been better).
I'm with you. HBK VS. Diesel was better than anything at 9. And the main event was much better than you could hope for considering LT was a non-wrestler. Plus there were just so many poor things at 9, not just in the ring. So that tips it for me as the worse ever mania.
WM 9 had the Steiners vs Headshrinkers which was better than anything on both the WM 9 & 11 cards...it blew Michaels vs Diesel out of the water, which was botchy and generic with a boring Diesel vs a flipping flopping Shawn Michaels, not a good match at all much less a great one, just ok at best
Also that Michaels vs Tatanka match at WM 9 sucked, chalk that up to misplaced nostalgia, going back to watch it now, it's way too long for what it is
WM 11 is easily the worst WM from my memory, shit card overall without any plusses
WM32 was the Worst of all 34. 11, and 9 were not that bad
