There's nothing better than not giving the Narc any kind of response. Block them, ignore them, and smile every damn time they rear their ugly heads around you. Their immaturity will never disappoint you....soul less shallow entities.

I do smile as I lie down on the couch and hear him complaining etc... then I pray for forgiveness from Jesus. I should not find enjoyment in his, over dramatized, but I do.

I’ve been in no contact, silent treatment and blocked her and everyone in her family everywhere for 6 weeks and her son sent me a text today. Now the flying monkeys have started. I left my ex to save myself. Never going back.

My realization was , when I love myself more than he does that's a problem. I took care of those I love often putting myself last on the list. All I ask is for him to give me what I have given him over the years ( Compassion, care, love, forgiveness and equal respect).
Since he can not do that nor stop using the past to verbally attack, I stay on the couch with my dog until I, my son and dog can move. It's not easy but the situation is what it is so I will do the best I can.

They dont need validation. They need obedience and service from others.
In the workplace, the narcissist boss will elevate weak but selfish people and put down efficient ones.
The weak ones follow and do everything the boss says. The boss is allowed to overstep boundaries.

I've turned the table on a narcissist, 180 degrees. They both hated that. Yes, yes they began to give me the silent treatment & to brush me off too. I murrmerd quietly to myself, ha - haahh, I won,you two lost, You guys wont bother me again, since don't want to communicate with me? My wife retaliated by telling me she was living with another man who wasn't a family member. Before she finished, I hung up on her. I have since blocked her. This happened after I told her "no", she couldn't come over. I'm moving forward 1 day at a time
Yes, I indeed hurt him. I was being set up through triangulation with new supply, I stopped reaching out, I swatted back against the hoover, declared my independence, and silence ever since. I forgave him and resolved to live my own life since he took off for someone else. He does not accept that and that is his choice. He can harbor the resentment and spite. I am free and that is an injury he inflicts upon himself. For me, confirmation he isn't worthy of my compassion or empathy. His problems are not mine anymore and he can no longer create or instigate problems for me.

My wife would never accept any responsibility or accountability for anything in all the time we were together, It was beyond painful and frustrating, the icing on cake she would go to her favourite torture tool and preferred method of punishing me, the dreaded “silent” treatment, often for weeks and months at a time.
I didn’t know anything regarding this narcissistic behaviour then, God has since opened my eyes.
I’m thankful to be free of it now, never again will I allow someone to manipulate me in such away ever again.
God bless you. My ex narc would never take any accountability and apologize. She was terrible at communicating and she cheated. So glad she is gone and I'm doing no contact. Don't miss her, she can go ruin her next relationship bc that is exactly what she is doing!😂

I don’t know if she did physically but with all the horror I’ve been though, the woman I fell in love with simply doesn’t exist, anything is possible.
I pray the Lord heals you and we both can learn from this terrible experience and grow from it.

My live-in 83 year old narcissist mother-in-law was captured on my bedroom security camera rummaging through my business records, specifically the daily financials. My wife and I decided not to confront her about this because it would have led to a complete meltdown and unhinged rage from her. Instead, we ensured our papers were properly hidden and I installed proper door locks to our bedroom. This did not go unnoticed by this narcissist. After a night of playing cards, the narcissist subtly kept saying me and my card’s partner were “liars”. I finally said to my partner, “kettle calling the pot black”, at which time I glanced up and saw the narcissist looking at me with those evil eyes as she warned me to “be careful”. I took the bait and let her know, “yes Julie, I have caught you in several lies”. Now she began her assent into full blown out of control rage. I managed to let her know I’ve got her on video before she totally lost it and began the insults and yelling and of course the silent treatment for the next few weeks. I personally love her silent treatments as it gives us a reprieve from her constant complaining and criticisms.
No one will 'get it' unless they have been through it. I have been through it. it is maddening. I told friends that it was like aliens took my wife and replaced her with this thing. It does get better. @bensiddons-bevis3158

My foster dad is a covert narcissist. I hurt him and exposed who he is and now he avoids me like a plague. Thank God for that!

I just locked the abuser out less than 12 hours ago. I am soooo done, and anyone involved with one of those soul-less devils needs to allow some righteous indignation (aka- anger) to fuel that final step to freedom. I do not know what I'm going to do next, but @ 65, I'm going to take that chance.
Speaking your mind to a narcissist after all their years of abuse is a sweet victory. Dunno how badly they might feel--probably not at all--but I feel better after saying it.

Don’t say never. There are different kinds of narcissists. I learned not to tell my ex anything. He would figure out how to use that information against you. And then there is Future Faking. “Stay with me and someday…”
When I started questioning his aggressive behavior, the eye rolls, how he wouldn't even sit down & look at me, ect..he would disappear back to his apartment & barely text for days & make a million excuses not to come over. Toward the end of the relationship, he was just completely disappearing for a week at a time. If there was a conversation, he would talk in circles of blame & shame. It was exhausting & causing nothing but confusion in my household. My children were even affected because he was completely unreliable & his negative energy made all of us uncomfortable. I finally went no contact after 4yrs of this constant disrespect. Best decision ever. My home is a peaceful place again.
All of this! These people are so toxic & abusive! Dont waste years of your life,They only change for the worse!
Yep once they hit about 70 they become downright Demonic. Most them end up with Dementia.

The only reason he is staying around is he’s getting something from you. They are vampires and parasites. Leave as quick as possible. I know it’s hard. I couldn’t, had to take the discard route. It’s been 3 and a half years. Still hurts. But I have grown. I try to push forward every day. You can do it ❤
“You really hurt my FEELINGS!!!” She had a total blowout and I just said that’s the way it’s going to be. She LOST it!! I just calmly responded that it wasn’t my intention to hurt her feelings this is just the way it is. So BETTY BAR THE DOOR, she didn’t get the response she wanted, set me up for a fall and STILL hasn’t figured out that I knew she’d do this. My mother is a narcissist and these people forget I had to live with her for 17 years. The head games don’t work anymore. And yes, silence is golden! Praying for ALL of us!!!

Loving a narcissit is nothing but a life of bitter truth: they can't feel love and don't return it. Ultimately the more you try to reach these people, the more likely they are to feel hurt... a never ending cycle of hoplesness. Be warned.

Ty Anoushka.❤ I blocked a narc that I gave a chance two months. I enjoyed the person. It was definitely a one way situation ship. I'm staying strong but being strong sucks sometimes. At least I'm happier w/ out the narc

I can't get the facial expressions out of my mind.They were insane.
It’s easy to see when you are detached. If you get something in a text you will be able to see it verbatim.
Emotional exchanges aren’t as easily remembered and harder to see it. Narcissists have to be in control at all cost. People are in their lives because they want something from them. They are skilled at extracting whatever it is from the unsuspecting. Image is everything to them.
It isn't worth wearing one's self out for a self-absorbed narcissistic individual.

Went to contact with me ex narc didn't see or hear from her in a year, she would try to get a reaction out of me on Social Media I stayed no contact no reaction she showed up at my kids school had a angry rant, assaulted me, I took every punch in silence, she then threatened to blow my brains out, I pressed charges and was issued a restraining order against her, so who knows what's next
Record every conversation, every communication. Video cameras on your place. Threats are serious.

@@ncfire51Keep going no contact. The best thing is to move on with your life and try and ignore her. The narcissist is never happy. It's an illusion. They seek to make others as unhappy as they are. they suck the energy out of others. Don't allow it. Be happy.

I just went through this. I held my ground and the relationship ripped apart in front of my eyes. My positive take away was that I was not in deep enough to be destroyed by it. Yes, it was extremely painful but it's better to know sooner than later. Huggz Everyone, stay focused.

It’s lonely being with a narcissist…and that’s prob the best feeling you’ll ever have with them other than the short time they love bomb you…then you spend the rest of the relationship crazily trying to find that person they PRETENDED TO BE in the beginning. I don’t feel the same since working with a great therapist for the last couple of years, she’s helped me to LOVE MYSELF, and that’s what’s really opened my eyes to the fact that I’ve never really been treated well in this relationship…but to hear him talk he’s “so nice” smh. He will NEVER be a partner, I’m a partner but he is not. And he just doesn’t know how to be…sadly I doubt he ever will.
But I used to be crazily in love (or so I thought…I think it was the trauma, I did love him but no matter what he did, I’d leave and he’d beg me to come back and I always did…smh) with him so it was really hard to let him go. Probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.
Now, I know I’m healing bc for one thing I’m not trying to talk to other guys or get on dating sites or any of that stuff that keeps you from feeling the terrible ache of loss from leaving someone you were trauma bonded to. Just talking to other guys would take my mind off him for a bit, bc I was so devastated. I can’t say enough how happy I am to not feel so desperately sad and alone without him anymore. That was so hard.
Now, I’m so happy to just be alone and live my life and not worry about dating ANYONE. It actually turns my stomach to think of dating anyone atm. Maybe someday, but eww not in the foreseeable future for me. I’m

I could always tell when my ex suffered a narcissistic injury because her eyes would almost turn black! It was a scary sight. She was very good at not openly displaying how she truly felt but her eyes would look cold, dead, and almost evil.
I have noticed the Eyes there is no life in them , very strange !✨💖✨

My first thought when I seen the title was anger, silent treatment and lobbying every thing right back at you. There is never a conclusion to any conversation with them, then they act like nothing happened or was ever said, cause it doesn’t fit in their narrative of them and how they are. Which is they are perfect even when they’re not.

Excellent video! Excellent explanation and articulation of the dynamics of how a narcissist processes feelings and actions. I just want to thank you for providing clear concise information that really does help us understand that which I find un-understadable and baffling because quite frankly their behavior never made sense to me. But now after hearing you articulate this behavior it starting to make sense although I still find it extremely incredible that any sensible individual would ever think like that. Maybe that is where I have gone wrong, thinking that these were sensible, reasonable individuals, when in reality these are highly self-absorbed individuals whom ultimately only care about themselves!

Yep a simple comment….. very honest simple comment… would lead to raised voices …. Storming off … a barrage of texts projecting on to me then ghosting blocking me for days or weeks!
They don't tell you and never will. But, boy, do they show you. They flip. The rage is off the scale.
They can pretend vulnerability when they attempt to convince you that they are a victim.
He acused me of being with someone else so I said yes, he got very upset because I wouldn't tell him the name of the restaurant hug up on me and I blocked him, when I called him back he blocked me,best thing he could've done,
There are narcissists that don’t drink, or aren’t physically or verbally abusive. They won’t mind that you’re with friends or colleagues, they aren’t jealous. They’re not your typical “movie” narcissists. They’ll leave a trail of honey for you to follow - so that when the relationship inevitably ends, you’ll realise that the other person didn’t force you to do anything - you did it all yourself.
Hopefully they will feel better soon, no need to hurt them

If they lose over a long period of time and have no hope of touching you and doing bad compared to you, they may get physically sick. Doctors can’t find any illness. But they will literally get sick to the point they are dying
That's an interesting concept. Noticed the same from a position of absolutely NC - for no reason.
What illness can they find from a lier? A narcissist will always say other things than reality.

anoushka you know what I did, I actually felt bad and sensed that I hurt their feelings, and I apologized to them for everything that I might have done wrong it was super hard for me to do but it made me feel better, it has helped me move on so much more, now they are left with their own moral responsibility and I have no weight on their life anymore, which allows me to separate myself from this toxic person
this type of person I can't imagine would bring up any wrong doings because it makes them look confrontational so I had to bring it up and it wasn't easy but almost seemed necessary.
Oh the narcissist is very vulnerable if you find that little bitty slit to be able to get under their skin, they become great big babies and throw their tantrums that no one but you get to see then usually thunder straight out the door thinking they are leaving you to suffer after ghosting you in this way. 😊

When I told the "Veterinarian" that she was wrong about a Cat's weight, she flew into a rage. "Don't you EVER correct me in front of the client ever again!!!!!!, She screamed. She blame shifted, Gaslit, and went on and on of how superior and great she was, she was more wrong more times I could count. The Veterinary Technician, and Office manager told me she was crazy and arrogant and entitled. This psycho was the biggest most worthless Narcissist. She was also a very bad veterinarian who misdiagnosed several times.

This was so helpful! My ex daughter in law projects so badly upon me, she blames me for things she is doing, like withholding contact from her children- twice now she has suddenly pulled visitations from their father without notice when she heard I would be at the visit. But she blames me for not having seen them in months. In violent terms. When I identified what she is actually doing, backed up by quotes of her texts, she offered a “not apology” again blaming me for “misunderstanding” her words. When I identified that her “not apology” did not actually involve her owning her previous abuse of me, she has now blocked and is in the silent treatment mode. It breaks my heart that she uses her children as pawns in her games, as she is hurting them the most, but I cannot do anything about her actions and it is not me that is hurting them.

My favorite saying is resentment is like drinking poison and hoping the other person gets sick from your actions.
100% agree with everything you say in this video, I@m just really tired, as soon as my father died, and they said they didnt think I wanted them at the funeral because I didn't act the right way the day before...... I knew, but I fought for another year, and is a year I'll never get back...... any point point I made, they brought up everything I ever did wrong, and not just me, my best friend didn't act right towards her at the funeral, cause he'd lost his mom a few months beforehand, so then he clearly hated her...... my daughter from a previous relationship was always a problem..... so once my dad died, was the perfect exit, but kept me in the back pocket..... as I said, wasted the last year holding out we could have a proper conversation, drove me nuts to the point I'd lose it, she'd talk about losing a phone, and how hard it was on her, I'd try be nice..... wouldn't ask once how my mom was doing, after she was very good to her for years...... I'd eventually say something..... big mistake.......once you know, just drop them and move on..... it'll hurt, like hell, but we all make mistakes, pick yourself up, and move on as quickly as possible

What they really hate is when someone gets them fired without ever saying a word to them.
If I didn’t agree with something my ex friend would say about a certain person, he would say “Well your not on my side then” while glaring angrily at me” it only got worse. I’ve one no contact at all. I occasionally have to pass him but I have to just totally ignore him as I’m happier now that I’m not being controlled & raged at for god knows what, I’m never going back to that abuse !
You probably dont understand maturity. No one have to be on your side. Everyone has individual thoughts, preferences, teams, favorite sports, holiday destinations, foods and culture. No is is obligated to follow you or to be on your side. Go and find your self and accept reality. Weik up from the lie you are living, you are lieing to yourself. Exact again. Muss less communication, never ever wanting to show vulnerability to the contrary, saying something like I love, then no follow up? What is that, or what do I say, how can I return I love you, after seeing some silent treatment, only more coming. Never ever going to have a conversation, not going to happen, this is their power at all times.
Yeah I have gotten the silent treatment for 3 days but I am mirroring him.
I left last July and I’ve cut all contacts completely and I’ve met some one else she also went through the same as me not so long but we bounce off each other it’s nice and slow which is weird if that makes sense although my child hood ptsd has kicked in but I’m working on it with counseling 👌👍🇬🇧

She got all butt hurt when I corrected her. After that she blocked me on social media. I wasn't intending to hurt her; she was making stupid decisions re: her health and we'd both shared approx. the same surgery. I told her to take it easy and that pissed her off. She told me that I can't tell her what to do.
My soon to be x would get angry out of the blue over really odd stuff. I’m originally from PA, and he would tell me to go back to PA; we had 2 places and he would stomp off saying he was going to the other place. He didn’t know how to have a discussion if we didn’t agree etc. no matter how minor. Boggled my mind- until I finally figured it out.
Acc to this - I have been tapdancing on my husbands nerves which I figured, however ty for reminding me that IS the way they show hurt. For a second there I was feeling like a confused yoyo.
Situationally Im in 1 where the narc is blatently doing all she states, its infuriating after a while. To have someone who outright refuse and argue to show you respect WHILE in that same breath they demand YOU to respect them wholly. You could be ballin tears down your face rivers and your state of being isnt a factor to them, may see a tiny bit of guilt cross their expressions but dont try acting on it will end with you just hearing from them in response something thats designed to render emotional pain -straight up and coldly- and guarenteed to piss you off.
To be treated like a useless child and made soully responsible for both problems and changes they are exempted from all the time.

Not many talk about the fact alcoholism basically makes people narcissistic, the dependancy enables many to get into the habit and have no real coping skills and all during a period where there is no doubt they have impared judgment.
So if you want to avoid them, safe bet is cross off anyone who drinks 😅 Ive heard from another professionals channel that 1 out of 6 people are narcissistic; May the odds be ever in your favor ❤😂😅😢
I did figure out for myself what she says here, that there can be no conversation because they can't show or admit they were hurt by you, that's vulnerability, and mine is just Joe Cool. So thus it would seem there is no fixing it, you can't say you are sorry, because, 'it didn't happen'. While it is just between the two of you anyway. Funny they would be better off talking to you, for there is stress on both sides of it, and we all have to get relief, and will end up talking about it to others, exactly what the narc would not want! They are so afraid, don't reason well.
