Did Chad forget to pay the heating bill? No, That's just Mr. Bixler's way of trying to circumvent his end of the bargain. This week we see Josh Bixler like you've never seen him before, as they discuss a combat plane, the FunBat from Bloodymicks.com. This simple, well designed foam plane is available in a variety of formats. The temptation to put this combat flyer to the test was too much for a few of the crew members. Losing one competition wasn't enough to keep Josh B down. Oh no, he decided to challenge his boss, Chad to a round of streamer combat. Watch this episode, to see what Mr. Bixler will be wearing next week.

Dad and I built a pair of these out of cor-flute (the stuff that 'for sale' signs are made of). We changed some things; like we made the planes about 50% larger and had a non-tapered fuselage. And they take a BEATING! I have lost count of how many times they have taken a dirt nap from combat (and once from reversed ailerons after a fix). They are just such a great plane. Thanks FT.

Good review guys. I have several of those funbats and I have to say (I Love them) They are so simple to build and very tuff. They are pretty much all I fly any more because you can make them as fast or slow as you want and still have great control. I thank Jon for this design and will fly it for a very long time. Thank you for reviewing it.
The intro is the best part, bro. Why would I skip it. It's everything I love about this hobby in a 32 second montage of awesome.

@Ghostmaker1970 Sure! We use the Canon 5D Mark II, and the Canon 60D, as well as the RedRock Micro camera mount rig.

You guys should do more of these funny little "just do it" shows. It costs a dime and a minute to try it, and the way you guys bring it, really encourages you to do so on a whim.
Now if youll excuse me, I think I have some TS90's in my drawer and a 1100kv motor somewhere.

G'day flitetest; Would you guys do a video on parkzone T-28 vs Durafly T-28? Both are about the same size, same power setup, and a similar flying plane.
Josh B. said VTOL capabilities. Since it only has ailerons and an elevator, you can't hover, because no rudder, so it would be very hard to land vertically.

I did one for me but I think that the eletronic I have available is too much, what you guys think:
- Engine: E-MAX 2822
- Prop: 8x6
- Bat: 1.300maH 15C
- ESC: 25A
Do I have to downgrade the eltronic to fly this?
What size prop did you use in this video?

How old was Bix during this video?? And his kids were probably like 3 and 0 :D :D this is incredible history. Too bad the script was so awkward and they weren't just being themselves, but Bix was certainly trying to be.
Is this good for beginners, with not a lot of space to fly?
Bixler did get the full get up on. He needs randomly growing face fuzz to complete the look. Haha.

look at the sig wonder, same plane, bigger made out of wood kit, i made mine super light and fited a 5s set up. did about 185mph and snaped the wing cos i made it crap

if you are talking about carbon fiber and fiberglass rods in a plane that you will be sending to combat... basically anything that you are using as structural elements for such a plane is sacrificial, right?

Why KF-airfoil ? ))) For this type of planes it doesn't matter )) Simple flat wing of a single sheet the same aerodynamic efficiency ))) You don't feel the difference. In Russia we call it flying plywood ))

The 2830 is serious overkill for this plane at 210 watts. I fly mine with a 2822 1450KV with 7x4 prop and still have tons of power on tap.
