I've seen tons of videos with people converting boat model kits into RC, but I wonder if anyone tried (with the new brushless very powerful electric motors) to convert a plane model kit into RC plane? Like I have a huge B-24 model kit. Probably way too heavy. 🤔

I think the plane looks fantastic, but if you guys want to impress me, build a B-17 with four 400cc Moki engines on it. And make it where it can drop scale bombs that look like the ones they dropped in WWII. And I would suggest that they be made out of cardboard material and have a blackpowder charge in them. That way they're not so energetic, but create a lot of smoke. If you want an example of a four Moki engined B-17, just search B-17 Flying Fortress with 400cc Moki engines.

I would have loved to see you try to fly it without the rudder. I mean, it was designed to be flown that way, and pilots managed to make it work. It would be a fun test of skill. Fun to watch, anyway LOL

first flight failed because of the pitch if the nose whele is not taller than the tail wheels on airplanes like this on then it will not take off because of the air flow angle pushing on the wing/Horten 229

The Indiana Jones plane is not a real one, that model was created by someone art creative to fit the movie. The model you are building is a a "Horten" probably Horten Ho-226 that one is real and did fly during WW2. but not in combat what we know of. And the transparent fin you added, you dont need it as long you keep speed up or rev´s up. The thrust from EDFs will straight it out. if you would use only one EDF it will be more skechy.

Weird, if it has the reflex then technically it shouldn't need that vertical stab. That's the beauty of Hortons design.
