Accuracy is related to ammo and stiffness of barrel. VEPRs are the most accurate AKs I've ever shot. They use RPK barrels and milled receivers. AKs were never meant to be tac-drivers though. 2 MOA is really good. Do you really need better? The AK is capable of accuracy better than 99.9% of most shooters under stress.
yes, but accuracy is compounded. if youre a 2MOA shooter and your gun is a 2MOA gun, your groups are going to be around 4" at 100. if youre a 2MOA shooter and you have a .5MOA gun, you have a 2.5" group. then it compounds again over distance and ammo selection. just depends what your goals are, personal acceptable allowances are, and options are.
I just got my GF3-E and it is nowhere near as loud as my mini draco, BUT I purchased the flash hider instead of the muzzle break. Not running a suppressor. But I love it so far. Runs fast and smooth and SO accurate. Great review!

I use a Magpul hand stop kit on that second position shorter length of pull position you showed, I tried a Bcm vert grip but was interfering with reloads. The Bcm rails u have on I also run, the help mitigate some heat.
Talking about shooting up close as if bullet drop doesn’t exist. It’s not a laser beam you have to sight it in at the correct yardage for the bullet characteristics….

Dude, the rail itself gets hot fast. Especially out here when the temp is 114. I had to put on a vertical grip even when running with gloves. Still a great, fun rifle, though.
Sir it sounds like your really good with ARs and your comparing the two platforms. The AK will never be an AR and it doesnt have to, its fine as is. Your gun has a lot of nice features to help you use it more proficiently. There is no replacement for trigger time though. Get a good 7-9k rds of practical drills and/or instruction and youll be rocking that AK like a champ. Also unless its magnified move your optic forward to the end of the receiver this will help you see your imediate naked eye suroundings easier while also putting dot on forward targets.

The reason an indivudual would want to use the loop over the QD inserts is sound discipline. Using 550 chord will kill a lot of that rattle and keep you stealthier in said situations. If you've ever been in a forest/jungle type environment, you dont want sound to carry. I've done enough exercises where I could hear the OpFor far enough or our team could be heard with enough warning to establish an ambush.

I'm an AR guy and just purchased the PSAK-47 Gen 5- E with a 16" barrel for a little more "accuracy" but it's not like I'm going to be deer hunting with an AK so I guess the finite difference b/t your 14" and a 16" barrel is a mute point.......lol. The traditional wooden furniture look and the accuracy of an AK is junk to me but I love the all metal look of the PSAK-47 offering so I bought one to see how this stands up to my AR 7.62x39 beast. Youre not gonna get more accuracy with the ar47 but youll get more jams and misfeeds and issues since instead of slimming down a 308 bolt they thinned out a 5.56 bolt. Also your ak is gonna run better pretty much whatever magazine or ammo you use. Ar47s have exactly 2 magazine manufacturers that make working magazines for them. And steel cased 7.62 will run all day every day in the AK it almost prefers the harder chew. Where youre gonna wanna go with the soft brass low power loads in the AR. Also... go ahead and just buy all the cleaning supplies you can for that AR. And some real good gun grease. The AK you have im not sure if you mean the GF5 or if you got one of the PSA AKE models with the FNH barrel. I hope its the latter oterwise you shoulda saved a few bucks and got the GF4. Granted youre gonna get more distance out of a longer barrel... but with an ar15 or an AKM you should always be messing around inside 300 yards. Unless youve got a gucci round or like a straight target gun with a 24" bull barrel or something. These are intermediate cartridges for cqb or intermediate range use. So in an AK 14.5 or 16 is going to be pretty damn similar. Though with the AKE or the GF4 or GF5 youre going to have a cold hammer forged barrel. Thatll give you the superior accuracy over the standard gf3 barrels for sure. Love that monster you got. when a gun review says, shooting review, it is referring to impressions and experiences after shooting it. its not a video of them just shooting the gun, which you get no info from. some youtubers do this to artificially increase the length of the video, i find it pretty boring to watch someone shooting a gun at paper at a range unless theres a particular demonstration being shown.

Says someone who doesn’t shoot much and only listens to stories. A properly built, not shot out AK is definitely consistently accurate to 300m.
